Didn't have anything because dog wasn't allowed in . (I thought all stand alone Costas had gone dog friendly). Was told we could sit outside! Outside was full , messy with several smokers!
Went there at 2.15 pm as always done for years even with previous owners .
One staff member sitting around while other serving , asked for 2 toasted cheese sandwich, we got from the staff sitting abruptly NOT SERVING HOT FOOD , so had to lump 2 hard stale cakes instead and when I say stale I mean stale , I went to ask for sugar for tea, it was like I was asking for gold.
This place has gone so badly down hill , we won't be returning they used to do such beautiful fresh cakes and staff were so friendly.
And to say no to making a cheese toasties you seriously don't want customers do u
If it carries on like this it will lose completely.

Been a customer of USA from the old days and continue using after it changed name but today is the last time I will
First of all I order under Just eat when food arrived one item was missing after 15 minutes they bring me I wish they didn’t
The calzone tasted disgusting soggy and with hardy anything on it the bbq sauce taste worst than £1 bbq so dry and soggy under no taste at all
The chips and cheese £4.19 for undercooked chips my own 13 years old daughter had 3 or 4 and told me they don’t taste right I tried and yes not cooked so she only eat the cheese and a handful of chips
Glad at least just eat refund it
The chicken nuggets for the kids please don’t order them they look and feel terrible so the only good thing was the burger witch was ok and the delivery guy a very friendly chap
Sorry but I will not be using or recommend you again as this was a terrible experience the worst in 15 years…
Such a shame as it feels you are still operating a limited menu like we are still in lock down (main course all with chips) ) A locals opinion, it feels both the Lion and White Horse are targeting only transient clientele through holiday season and why maybe, they are quieter out of season where public houses with good old ‘English food’ for the local community are a busier. Both great pubs, staff lovely, but the food really needs some attention and love and updating!
Unfortunately the smallest portions ever received on a delivery. The portions were less than small. Burrito tasted nice but was like a mini wrap rather than a burrito an adult could eat for dinner. Tacos were really hot and filled with a spicy cream. It didn't really taste like tacos at all. Milkshake tasted like over sweet dark industrial chocolate sirup with milk. Overall disappointment
