Parking is a joke, we stood in the bakery waiting to be served for 10 mins, then the young girl gunted and pointed to the bags and we was told help yourself. That I would be fine, however the number of customers handling the food was not great, when using dirty hands. Then we got to the till, the older lady was also rude, short to the point with no manners. We had not been for sometime and it's not the same. It's a shame, I will not be going back,

Was furious to find a big illegal hunt gathered at this pub , with drunk riders providing fun trying to get back on their horses. What a shame pub's decide to host illegal hunts, not good for their reputation or business.

Proper pub, great food (amazing chunky chips and dippy eggs) and a really genuinely friendly and cheerful staff. Would certainly recommend for lunch and a pint.

We had a good experience here. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had to order and pay at the bar, but OK. The Mcmullen's country bitter was well-kept and lovely. The ambience of the pub was warm and cosy, and the toilets were nice and clean. There is a big car park too. Our food wasn't bad. I had a chicken kebab which wasn't a kebab, it was big pieces and was rather dry. Nevertheless it was tasty and the Mac's salad was delicious, as was the tzadziki. My husband had a burger which again was tasty, but rather messy with burger sauce everywhere! But burgers are pretty much always messy. His chips were good but he could've done with a few more. I wouldn't be put off by the food because the general experience was good; I'd personally choose something else from the very extensive menu. That's my honest review; hope it's helpful.

This place has certainly had its time. Desperately needs a urgent refurbishment. I wonder when the last hygiene inspection was done?? The food was without doubt precooked and totally tasteless tried to complain but said I was lying!!! Also very strange when you call it gets diverted and a strange ringing. They have also reduced their portion size but not the price. I will never go back there. Try Hong Kong up the road from there. They honestly don't give a danm.

A friend and I went for a meal last Monday 30th January. We arrived at 8.15pm and our order was taken very quickly, but not one thing was right. Both my friend and I ordered the vegetable and pasta soup, which on a positive note was delicious. However, my friend did not receive his at the same time. He waited patiently, then after ten minutes asked where it was. The waiter apologised, admitting he had forgotten. I had finished mine by then as my friend had asked me not to wait for him. For the main course, my friend ordered the vegan spaghetti bolognaise and I ordered pizza. My friend said his meal was tasteless and could have been hotter, and my pizza was barely warm, so I sent it back. I was promptly told that nothing could be done as the kitchen was closed (at 10 past 9?) so I mentioned that surely he still had access to a microwave. He commented that they don’t usually put pizzas in the microwave (Erm - I wanted it warmed up) but he did. For too long, though, as it was tough and inedible, so left it. We also asked for a jug of water. Along came a small jug despite there being two of us, and two dirty glasses, so we asked for two clean ones, which were then provided and should have been provided in the first place. Back to the jug, it was clearly a jug for one and not enough water for a whole glass each. For dessert, I ordered tiramisu and my friend ordered cheesecake, both of which were fine, but we had expected dessert spoons to eat with, not teaspoons… We had a 25% off voucher, which was why we chose Prezzo, but we will not be choosing the Buckhurst Hill branch again. The staff seemed in a rush to get rid of the customers who were left, so we didn’t order coffee, nor did we leave a tip, nor will we be returning, despite not being charged for the pizza I didn’t actually get to eat. Appalling service from a well-known and reputable chain.

Thank you to all the staff for looking after our large family party this evening. We appreciated having an area reserved for us and everyone enjoyed the food and drinks. Special thanks to Lucy for taking time to make sure that everything went smoothly. Great experience all round!

If you like a poached egg please try the eggs champignon: perfectly poached atop a bed of mushrooms and a muffin. Just the right amount of hollandaise to complete a simple but delicious brunch.

Visited here after hearing great things. The roast dinner was amazing. I could not fault the food. Although, the service wasn’t great. I appreciate the restaurant have to turn tables and on our reservation it was highlighted they needed the table back for a certain time. Absolutely fine. One of our party was late as we live around 45 minutes away and due to traffic. We were reminded upon arrival and then several times through out the meal. We asked for the bill. It didn’t come, then another server came over with the bill and said as they needed the table back they had taken it upon themselves to give us the bill. But we had asked for it. We had a new server who was being trained by another member of staff, they were both lovely and we were pleased with their service.

The hugest, heart-felt thank you to Kim and Wendy who made my Mum’s 94th birthday celebration such a wonderful and memorable occasion. We enjoyed afternoon tea on 17th November at Mulbury House in beautiful surroundings and honestly the whole experience was outstanding. We are not easy to cater for as there were 2 vegans and a pescatarian in our party but nothing was too much trouble for Kim and Wendy, they didn’t just go the extra mile, they went miles beyond. Thank you so much ladies! We loved the experience so much, we’ll be returning over Christmas.

My husband always wanted to try Pie and Mash so yesterday we did. We got there for about 12 noon and was surprised to see it already getting full. Luckily we found a table. for. I went up to order and was surprised at the presentation. It looked like they had scoped the mash using the plate itself and mash was over the plate and hubby said it tasted school dinner mash. The pie ok, the liquor was tasteless. (I didn’t mind it). So why have we given it a four- staff we nice and polite, restaurant was clean. Drinks were at very good price and to be honest so the meal itself. If you are in the neighbourhood and want a cheap meal, then this Might be the place for you. Would not rule Out going back, but not in a hurry to.
