Perfect pint, friendly atmosphere and the staff were very helpful, especially Alex who recommended deals and made excellent cocktails.

Just wonderful evening in this pub. Fire places were lit and there was a lovely autumnal atmosphere. They had some kind of Christmas demonstration table, which was lovely and we chatted to the manager-David, what a nice chap. Yes we took a menu and we will book for Christmas dinner, because the food we had was excellent. I recommend the sticky chicken! Cocktails fab, service fast and friendly. 10 out of 10!

I recently had a fabulous meal at king William with my girl friends on Saturday 25th November 2023. We were a large group of 12 ladies and I found staff to be very patient which helped to make this a fun and relaxed experience. A special mention must be made to waiter Zak and Waitress Joanna - they were both very polite and attentive and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend this restaurant based on this visit.

A beautiful Sunday Roast Lunch at the King William. Although rather busy and loud there is a nice ambiance overall. Service was great as Elizabeth was smiley and attentive. We will be sure to be back.

Have been to this pub a few time and I can’t fault it but today was exceptionally good! It was very busy when we arrived and we thought we would wait a long time to be served. Our waitress orphee was amazing! Very attentive, knowledgeable and caring. She had such a caring vibe to get and our children absolutely loved her!!!

Would have been a 5 star if there was even any management around. Me and my partner come Thursday night, food was great couldn’t fault it, service was very good, was served by Zak, was trying his hardest to do everything himself. But there was no manager to be seen until the end of our meal, saw him walk in and hang his coat up just behind our table and could smell the smoke from him. Such a shame that such a nice restaurant, lovely food and service was let down by management!
