Attended a tasting menu for valentines evening g . Food was lovely and the staff where very attentive but unfortunately although private dining there was another couple who was there and was very very loud and completely controlled the whole evening. Couldn't hear what the staff was telling us about the courses and didn't even have a conversation with my partner as i couldn't hear him. Considering the cost I would have thought the staff could gave told them to keep the noise down as other people in the joining resturant also mentioned the noise as this was also our 41st wedding g anniversary it totally spoil our evening I know it wasn't the resturant fault but I think the manager should have step in. Another couple who was there also didn't enjoy the experience either because of the same problem

Had a great lunch here today. Both of us tried the bento box, my sister the vegetable tempura, which came with chicken gyoza, myself the katsu, which came with prawn and vegetable tempura. The boxes came with rice, seaweed salad on spinach, mayo, and katsu sauce on the rice with mine. We shared some edamame beans to start. Tempura was so light and crisp, and all delicious. Service warm and professional, want to go back and try their tasting menu one evening. Lots of different flavours and dishes. À welcome addition to the dining options in Epping. I've been back several times now for lunch and dinner. Always faultless, delicious and good value for money.

We’ve been using this Indian takeaway for over 20 years, about 12 years ago we had a not great meal, that’s the only time in 20 years. Not many restaurants would match that. Great food great service and good value. Try the Tandoori mixed grill.

The food was nice but nothing special considering the price.....atmosphere? Only two tables dining and we were one of them......considering they weren't busy the service was awful....the waitress was abrupt and unhelpful when asked questions regarding the menu, never meal checked us,and took my plate without asking if we were all finished....just assumed that because two of the diner's at my table had finished it was ok to throw a dirty napkin on my plate and go to remove it....I told her I hadn't finished and she claimed to have asked us first.....then asked me if I wanted the plate back, not sure if that included the napkin lol.....I wouldn't go back nor recommend

This is such a lovely traditional country pub. It was very busy but we received friendly service from the landlord. A zero alcohol Guinness and a glass of Rioca and two steak and ale pies. Very fair price for home cooked food. The pies were delicious - the steak was tender and the pie was very filling and flavorsome. Served with thick proper chips, peas and the most delicious honey roasted carrots and parsnips. We will definitely return. We found it by chance after not being able to get a table in another 2 pubs. A great location for walks in Epping Forest.

Roza used to be our favourite Turkish. However it has gone downhill in recent times. Our last two orders have had missing items. We ordered the filo parcels for £6.50 I would expect more than three, it never come with the sweet chilli sauce. My chocolate brownie dessert was the smallest slither and came without ice cream. Again, for £6.50 I would expect much more. All the hot food and bread was stone cold. We didn’t receive a large pot of garlic sauce we paid extra for. We were told it would be around 40-50minutes, it turned up 20minutes later than that. All in all a very disappointing experience, cold food, long wait, over priced, missing multiple items, poor quality control or care.

RestoBistro is Epping’s best kept secret, nestled at the southern end of the high street. The food is absolutely delicious, all homemade. An independent restaurant with extremely high standards. The chef and management put on various special themed nights which are always fantastic. I particularly like the Sunday Roasts which are the best for miles around.

Adults starter and mains were lovely today but mains could have been hotter and the gravy was so salty. Yorkshire puddings were also really overcooked and not edible for me. The drinks were lovely but I had to flag someone to ask for a second round of drinks quite some time after we had finished our mains. I also ordered the kids an ice cream at this point as they were getting ratty but we weren’t offered a dessert menu even when they came to clear our plates so we passed it up. The main let down was the kids meals. Why any establishment puts salt on children’s chips is beyond me. The tomato pasta is really below par…awful actually and the chicken breast was so charred it was dry and acrid to the taste so neither child would eat their food. I sent both back and ordered two fish and chips instead which was much better so I know what to avoid next time. There was also no pushback when I explained that both meals were just not very nice. The kids meals used to be so much better. Appreciating it was a busy Easter Sunday but we were disappointed today.
