A Truly Unforgettable Experience at The Merry Fiddlers! šššššIf you're considering booking at The Merry Fiddlers, donāt hesitateājust go for it! We recently hosted a deeply meaningful event there for Mumās Life Celebration, and the experience was nothing short of extraordinary.Ellie and her sister were absolutely incredible. From the moment we arrived, their attention to detail and warm, welcoming nature made all the difference. The rooms were beautifully set up, and the decorations were simply stunningāevery corner radiated care and thoughtfulness. Ellie went above and beyond, not only managing all the administrative tasks flawlessly but also taking care of little things, like keeping the ice in Mums token White WIne glass topped up with ice to returning our vases to the florist. Itās these personal touches that elevated the day to perfection. Our family and friends couldnāt stop raving about the amazing food, the wonderful team, and the incredible atmosphere. Ellie even stepped in to help Pablo and our mariachi band, ensuring everything ran seamlessly. The level of dedication and care they showed us was truly outstandingāit felt like they were part of the family. The day was everything we hoped for and more, making Mum proud in every way. I can't thank the team enough for creating such a memorable experience. Iāll be recommending The Merry Fiddlers to everyone I know (including my celeb pals!) because they truly deserve all the praise. If youāre looking for a five-star service in a charming, welcoming venue, this is the place. Thank you, thank you, thank you! š„° With love, Stevie š

Very disappointed. Have been going there for years but not just recently. There were no menues on the tables. We had to stand and read from a blackboard. Not very satisfactory for people who find it hard to walk. Luckily not many people were there or you would need to stand over someoneās table to be able to read it. The wine we ordered was not available and the two items we wanted on the menu were not available including cream. The fish pie was poor with just white fish and a small amount of salmon and no other fish. The mashed potato was very salty. The sticky toffee pudding was the strangest I have seen and was dry and heavy. The spotted dick had been over cooked in the microwave and was burnt and solid on the base, so was inedible. This was pointed out but no reduction was offered. We will not be returning. It is nothing like it used to be.

Belgique CafĆ© and Patisserie in Epping is a delightful spot that brings a European cafĆ© vibe to the heart of Essex. Known for its stylish interiors and a welcoming ambiance, itās a great place to enjoy a coffee or treat after a walk or day out. The patisserie selection is visually stunning, with vibrant colors and meticulous presentation that makes every dessert a feast for the eyes. However, despite the impressive display, thereās one noticeable drawback: the sweetness level. While the pastries look amazing, some of them are overwhelmingly sweet, to the point that it becomes a bit much, especially if youāre not a fan of sugary treats. This high sugar content can feel a bit indulgent, almost too much so. It would be fantastic if Belgique offered a range of semi-sweet or less sugary options to cater to those who prefer a more balanced taste. A reduction in sugar could elevate the flavors of the ingredients, allowing the natural tastes to shine through without overpowering them. The cafĆ© offers an extensive drink menu, from lattes to fresh juices, which pairs well with the patisserie. The staff are friendly and attentive, and service is generally prompt. Belgique is popular among locals, and it can get busy, especially on weekends, so it might be worth planning ahead if you prefer a quieter setting. In summary, Belgique CafĆ© and Patisserie is a wonderful place for a sweet treat and coffee, but a touch more variety in sugar levels would make the experience even better for those who like their desserts less sweet.

It took 1 hour and 20 minutes for my order to be delivered. It didnāt say it would take this long when I booked it, but after 50 minutes of waiting I checked and the delivery time had updated to another 40 minutes and the status was still on āpreparing my orderā. I live 10 minutes from the store so I feel an hour and 20 minutes for one sandwich meal deal is unjustified. I tried calling the to check on my order but they hung up on me so I couldnāt cancel. Not the delivery drivers fault at all.
