Pizza Express in Epping Forest

The pizza came so cold like it was made ages ago, the pasta seemed like it was reheated same with the bruschetta and the dough balls. The taste was not nice and £7 for the smallest piece of brownie is ridiculous.

This is my local Pizza Express and always feels like a local restaurant rather than a chain. Many of the service team have been here 15 years plus & always great service. I had the new meatball Romano & it’s my favourite ever pizza !! Guido was my server & he was fabulous & very attentive.

we had an amazing experience, with multiple dietary requirements and two over excited children we was made very welcome and nothing was to much trouble. Our server Guido was fantastic.

Came here for my Little brothers birthday with our mum. Food was lovely and great service by Guido.

I came in to collect a cannelloni and a pizza for my mum. However, the pizza wasn’t on my collection order, so I had to pay for it there and then. Unfortunately, I couldn’t receive it as it was close to closing time (around 9:45 PM). The manager was incredibly apologetic and kindly offered me an extra pizza on the house when I come to collect my paid order next time! I couldn’t be happier with how the situation was handled—it was entirely my fault for arriving so late, yet the manager went above and beyond to make it right. Thank you!

Delivery was quick but the order arrived with missing items on pizza, bare patches, was very doughy and the dough balls had Burt bits. All was cold even though we tracked through the app and the driver arrived within 5 mins of leaving the restaurant.

Carlos was an amazing server. We love coming here and it’s our son’s favourite place to eat. Such amazing value and lovely kid friendly atmosphere.

It’s our favourite place to come as a family. We always feel welcome and we are always pleased when Carlos is here! He does a terrific job and is so kind, patient and funny with our 6 year old. We love the pizza, but it wouldn’t be quite so special without Carlos looking after us

We always choose Pizza Express Epping as our restaurant of choice. It's super family friendly and the food is always amazing. The staff continually go above and beyond helping advise us with tasty options and help with what is the best value for money in terms of rewards/discounts we have. Henry was absolutely amazing, his service was fantastic. Haven’t experienced such friendly service in a long time! Food was great as well, super delicious. We ordered two Romano pizzas and three sides. I asked for more house dressing on the salad and it wasn’t a problem for Henry at all. A little feedback - the music / radio station was quite crackly which made the atmosphere a 3.5/5 star. Other than that, service and food we couldn’t fault.

I've just ordered and collected food within 10 min from this place. Never had such a poor quality of food from a Pizza Express before. Got heartburn from this. I paid over £26 for this horrible food. I ordered Lasagna and Chilli prawn with dough balls. The Lasagna was likebotched together from a previous order as it did not look, taste, or feel fresh. It was also not hot at all almost cold. The dough balls were dry and hard like their old. The Chilli praws were under cooked. Just all horrible. Will never go to Pizza Express in Epping again. Wasted.

Guido is the best waiter i’ve ever experienced in all my years of going out to eat, always greeting me and my partner with a smile and very friendly. Always caters to our requests and serves us our food with such efficiency every single time. Very pleasant to talk to and be around. Toilets were also in pristine condition

OUTSTANDING SERVICE. Dined in for a double birthday Tuesday night and experienced above and beyond service from Guido and his team, food came out swiftly and piping hot, atmosphere was vibrant but peaceful and the whole team even surprised us by singing happy birthday. will be back for the next birthday, amazing experience.

Such friendly staff and great food. My son and I love coming here. He loves the dairy free options and there’s never any shortage of high chairs for him. The kids portions are very generous and he loves the dough balls and pasta so much that I can always guarantee he will eat his entire meal and then try his very best to fit in a sorbet. It’s our favourite place to eat.

He was the only one on the floor due to staff being sick or on holiday. It was a hot humid day and Paul did not let this get the better of him. He had a smile that lit the resturant and he even recommended me try a drink, which was superb. He made sure we had everything we needed and was comfortable. There was also only one chef at the time, so a massive well done to you both for running a resturant on your own. I would highly recommend this resturant and will be visiting again. Pizza express you should be proud to have a member like Paul on your team.

Absolutely terrible service do not waste your time dining in. 1 hour and 20 mins and only served starters because take away orders are made a priority. My daughter’s birthday was ruined tonight because the service was so appalling and we ended up leaving after starters. Staff and manager did not care and they even had the cheek to charge us service charge on the starters. DO NOT GO HERE and waste your money. £150 for 10 starters and a round of drinks and a ruined 14th birthday.

We had a reservation for a group of two famlies. No table availeble!!. After a half hour waiting andvthe notes that someone else already was waiting 1½hour for there order we left and went to the other side of the road. There wasn't compensation altough the waotress was very sorry. Bit sad that she need to work here in this curcumstancis. Restaurant at the other side was luckely much and much better. Sorry to say but pizzaexpress in Epping...this was not good at all
