Excellent service today. Served by the lovely Amelia, nothing was any trouble. Even though there was a big group ahead of us we were served our scrumptious afternoon tea, huge soft warm fruity utterly scummy scones, flavoursome speciality teas, coffees and fabulously perfect melt on the mouth coffee cake.
I have to stay this is a interesting place to go to or explore.
There have good variety of games and snacks and drinks and provide lots more also popular for teenagers under 30 which is good
Pool table/ table tennis is cool to have in a place like this .
Opening hours are reasonably appropriate will be returning and will definitely recommend this place for the weekend
On the plus side, the Sunflower Tearoom was very clean and comfortable. The welcome and service were good and the speed of service and taste of the fare was also good, but the cost is steep.
A bowl of soup is £6.50. Our bill for two toasties, two soups, one cake and two small pots of fruit tea was £30. In my opinion that was expensive for what we received as for £15 each, we could have had a full lunch at one of the many pubs we pass.
Incredibly slow service for a simple brunch - we’ve been here over 45 minutes and still no food and no good explanation either. Had to leave without eating! Be warned.
Yet another amazing roast on Sunday. Our favourite hostess Vicki always takes excellent care of us and our dog and really does go the extra mile.
It’s always a pleasure eating excellent food served by lovely, happy, smiley people. Can’t fault it.
See you again very soon,
Sam, Anita and Bernie 🐶
I have been trying to contact core/Popworld for 2 weeks now to arrange a party nobody gets back in contact with you regarding your enquiry and can't get hold of anyone on the phone!
Rubbish. Tried the second day after relaunch it was poor quality cooking ,gave them the benifit of doubt theathing troubles but had cod chips and mushy peas this evening 14/4/25 and it was utter rubbish, uncooked batter, hollow chips and the mushy peas were brown...

Was practically the only one here, even though all the other other coffee shops close by was quite busy at 9 am on a Sunday morning. Very huge coffee shop, but the wifi needed a password due to a lack of signal.
