Still holding the crown for 10 years! Do you have any idea how hard that is in hospitably? Hiring the right staff, training service and customer focus, constantly managing standards. Great coffee / great environment. Hats off to them, to be honest. Yes - the coffees are served at the correct size (you're not going to get a pint of it). Yes - the food touches on the expensive side (it's all made fresh and in house). Yes - it gets busy. (Makes me extremely happy I have to wait in an independent coffee shop). Keep up the good work, see you soon.

Service fantastic - food delicious and generous serving. Lovely cafe - it was recommended to me and I would highly recommend it to everyone else!!

We visited on Saturday 6/3 at 6pm there was a Q always a good sign and it was we had cod&chips fish battered to perfection chips crispy (both crisp&dry not greasy)it was our 3rd visit in the last 6months & won't be our last have reccomended to others who all agree it's the best fish and chips in the area by some distance

My go to for great food and fantastic service, so much so I had my 50th birthday meal here with 13 friends recently. The staff went out of there way to accommodate by decorating with balloons and banners. Food was fantastic with impeccable service. A lovely friendly atmosphere, a real asset to the village!! No hearing, no fire and half the people still have their coats, as do we ! It's 17 degrees and that's cold inside.... It's cold outside ! Asked about the fire and staff didn't seem interested!! Also no lights in one of pub... looks pokey and dingy .... Shame because really nice pub inside

Always make up great hampers over Christmas and responsive over email. Would highly recommend.

Amazing local family owned business - food is fabulous and the service is good. Can't go wrong, been a few times and each time we haven't been disappointed - highly recommend.

I popped for a beer and found out it was 80's night at the pub. So I decided to stick around. The bar staff where in fancy dress (Mario and Luigi) and some of the punters were as well. Great Lady DJ playing 1980's Bangers...I thought I was 20 again! Check the pubs website for up and coming events. They also do great food at reasonable prices & of course Sunday lunch. Kids and dogs welcome with a Very large beer garden backing onto the canal. If you are passing by on the canal it's a great place to moore up and get some food/Drinks! (Right by lock 69 Nash Mills)

Over priced , asked for salt and vinegar and he put it all over the sausage and none on the chips

Fantastic spot - owners are lovely and really do treat customers like royalty. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Came for Christmas dinner this year, which I was apprehensive about, but could not fault it! Celeste did a wonderful job on the food, everything was so tasty. Russ is always ready to fill glasses with drinks, and have a chat with customers. Love this place! Would recommend to anybody.

The best Indian food I’ve had in recent years. The prawn puree starter was particularly well presented and very tasty. Much recommended.

Just reopened. What a transformation, now a terrific place to visit. Just had drinks but the welcome and atmosphere is outstanding while I enjoy a beer in the garden.

Really disappointed this was the worst Premier Inn regards to accommodation we have stayed in. The room was dusty, had mold in places, water all over the window and stuffy. All night could hear the sound of people walking around upstairs the floorboards were squicky. Worst night sleep. Staff were polite. The breakfast was serviced in a dinner room and food was fresh. Had to get tea from Mc Donalds as the restaurant next door was a Miller and Carter.
