I visit as often as I can & always have a really good time although I'm on my own.I enjoy my own company very much. The food is delicious & cakes to die for😊

Lovely place with lovely staff, and delicious coffee. To the two ladies who served me on 21/07/23 and complimented my perfume, I said I would come back and tell you the name as I couldn’t remember, it is Narcotic Flower Edition Rouge Perfume. - hope you see this. Also, thank you for the cake 😉

Lovely ambience, friendly staff and great food. The veggie breakfast was outstanding and delicious real mint tea. . A hidden gem in Cotteridge. Think I may make it my office !

Visited with a friend for coffee and cake on a Saturday afternoon. It was thankfully only about half full with a mixture of friends and young families and had a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Chai latte and hot chocolate were decadent and delicious - love the teapot my chai came in! Also, the victoria sponge and carrot cake paired very nicely and I can't wait to visit again when next in the area.

I regularly go here for breakfast and I am never ever disappointed. I never feel the need to write reviews but I love the food at this place. Always so good for vegetarian and vegan options and so tasty. Always presented so beautifully too

Visited with a friend and our children - the ice cream sundaes were amazing, as was the hot chocolate and home made chai (with rose petals and crystallised sugar!) . Staff were really friendly, even gave the children ice tip tops when we left! (The breakfasts are also delicious!)

I love this brilliant cafe in Cotteridge. The food is delicious, there's so much variety and lots for vegetarians too. The decor and atmosphere in there are great too!

Really lovely food and generous portions. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff! Very reasonable prices. Lots of options on the menu including meat, veggie, vegan. We have been several times and it is always as good each time.

I was there a couple of weeks ago. The coffee was great, the food was very tasty and the service was excellent! I was doing some life admin work with my laptop and I was able to stay until closing time. They were very friendly! If you are looking for a lovely place to work, whilst enjoying a good coffee...this is the place!

Myself my husband and daughter went to Manhattan 70 for lunch. They had a really good menu. The service was very friendly and food was delicious. Even the presentation of the food was lovely. We will be back! Thoroughly recommend

My friend and I popped into this coffee shop for a hot drink, despite having never really enjoyed their coffee in the past. A decaf tea and a green tea came in at £7.75 I actually queried the price as I felt it must be a mistake. We hoped it would be something special, but my friend said her green tea was the worst she’d ever had. Mine was very disappointing too. The cost charged is more than a nice coffee shop in central Birmingham would be. How can they charge prices like that in this economic climate, in Cotteridge?! We will NOT be going there again, and will tell our friends the same.

I visited with my sister and I was pleasantly surprised how good the burger was . I ordered the shredded beef burger., it was like a pull beef style burger. It was slightly spicy. Very nice indeed . Came with side salad and a lot of curtly fries. Not bad for 9£ The Americano was nice and strong . But not too strong. I couldn’t resist the hand made cinnamon bun . It was heated up for me and was delicious. Good lunch .oh .. the decor was pretty good too . Keeping to the New York theme.Friendly staff . What more can one ask for .

This is a fantastic coffee shop/restaurant situated in the heart of Cotteridge High Street. The staff are warm and friendly and the coffee is perfect! There is a lot to choose from on the menu and the food is excellent. I also love the decor, the exposed brickwork, New York themed pictures on the wall and hanging bicycle create an atmosphereric urban ambience. This was just what an up and coming area like Cotteridge needed. I would highly recommend this wonderful coffee shop.

Manhattan 70s has become one of my favourite places in Birmingham. It is very easy to enjoy a coffee there. There is always a nice atmosphere and the staff is friendly & helpful. The food is really good (especially burgers!) and it is a family friendly place. Babies are welcome here...which makes life much more easy for parents. There is plenty of room for prams and there are also changing facilities.
