Luke was great, was very friendly and served me and my date and we had a lovely time under his service.

A great selection of delicious tapas in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Convenient for central Chelmsford, the Odeon cinema and the Meadows car park.

A perfect place for lunch when having the Day Spa - food is always excellent as is the service and the staff - always on hand

We had the steak burger and it was excellent. The chips were good but a ladies portion rather than a hungry mans! Nice atmosphere, good gin and very friendly helpful waitress Lauren. Thanks so much. We’ll be back 😊

Booked this hotel as a surprise for my boyfriend’s birthday. Nice location, close to Chelmsford. However, we do not recommend and would not return. We checked in at 2:50 and was told our treatments are booked for 3pm, I was not notified this upon booking, I believed we could choose the time when we checked in, so it was a rush. The hot stone beds there are only 3 of so they were never actually available to use! The poolside was constantly busy even though this was mid day on a Thursday! So no sunbeds for a good while until someone moved, the sauna appeared not to be working also, it was only lukewarm. Food was ok, had better, waiters were nice. The sleep was non existent, we were in room number 2, every few hours in the night you could hear a door closing which was very loud! So we were constantly waking and could not settle! Best thing about this stay was the French toast in the morning, we left shortly after breakfast as we were knackered and did not want to stay any longer. Such a shame as this was not a cheap stay! P.s many reviews said the grounds were great, it took about 5 mins to walk around them, there was definitely nothing to look at except a broken fountain!

Always a worry visiting a cafe when one of your party is coeliac, but the staff were so knowledgeable, separate prep areas, good range of choice. Highly recommend, especially on a sunny day which we were lucky enough to have. Thank you

We went here to see the VE fly over and the experience was great, they had a band and hog roast on.

Best Costa I’ve been to. First visit, staff took my name and then made me feel like a regular, super friendly, quick and welcoming atmosphere.

We have recently moved to the area and this is our local cafe. We like it very much indeed. Staff, food and coffee are very good. Dogs aren't allowed inside and that is a great shame. It seems this is common in this area, unlike Epping where dogs are allowed inside. I hope this changes as we would visit far more often. I fully accept that only well behaved dogs should be allowed. Please GLASSHOUSE, change your stance on this. Thank you 😊

Absolutely terrible service! Never have I had such a bad service to the point where I’m being flat out lied too about the delivery and they can’t even explain themselves! I ordered 2 hours in advance, the expected delivery time was between 8:25-8:45. We waited to see exactly from 8:15 for the driver. It gets to past 9pm after no response and no contact for me to contact them to be told the driver has attempted and been outside until 9:10! We even got them to confirm the delivery address and then still they proceeded to tell us he was outside! Foul customer service with zero care to amend the situation all to be told on the phone and I quote “We don’t care” I will never be going back to this place again absolutely terrible service! Do not recommend! ***In response to the owners comment - we have buzzers on the door that cannot be missed and not a single one was attempted. No one was ‘waiting’ let alone for the time they lied about!

Asking Biriyani Boy to cater at our wedding was the best decision we ever made for our South Asian/ British fusion wedding - Sana and Josh, who were so friendly, were very flexible and attentive with our needs. They made sure to visit the venue a couple of weeks beforehand to ensure they had everything so it all went smoothly. In comparison to other caterers, their prices were extremely budget friendly and their food was amazing - compliment from all wedding guests! The lamb biriyani, chicken karahi and chickpea curry was beyond delicious, with so much left over - we were eating biriyani for well over a week. Josh was kind enough to stay a bit longer as we ended up needing to use their equipment to serve homemade chai. Don't have enough words to thank these lovely people, forever thankful for a lovely experience and we hope to visit the restaurant soon :)

Called in on the off-chance. Lovely people. Although they had lost their chef the day before, they were doing their best to make sure everyone was fed. We had ham egg and chips which was very nice. They also had a walking group in, and were expecting a darts team in the evening. I wish them well. They deserve to succeed. 😊

Amazing staff and the food was great, we were met with smiles and were in no way dissapointed with our experience, i would 100% reccomend the pub to other people as a great place to meet, drink, eat and they are allways upto date with showing the latest sport.

Not been to what was a lovely little lunch spot for some time but what a price hike! Prices online did not reflect those on the menu. Lemon cake dry & brick-like despite cream & fruit. Tiramisu very rich & sweet, unable to finish either. Coffees very expensive too. Very disappointed that practically all lunch options £10-£20 at least!!
