However, the dish featured a slightly heavier mesh than I prefer; a lighter approach would enhance its overall appeal. Additionally, the environment was inviting, and the customer service was commendable, contributing to an enjoyable dining experience. Overall, this restaurant is a must-visit for Chowmein lovers seeking quality and a pleasant atmosphere.

Visiting Chelmsford Town Centre today and stopped at Tuk Tuk for dinner. Food was thoroughly enjoyable. I had the Penang Curry Rice Bowl which is medium curry with chicken and it was divine. Please try this restaurant when you are next in town. My partner had the Udon Noodles with prawns. Highly recommend and 5 star rating. Staff are very welcoming with great service. We had Bubble Tea to drink. Delicious and unexpected little gem in town. I highly recommend to everyone who loves good fusion food!

Gone down hill massively, used to be our favourite take away but the cleanliness and quality of the food is terrible now

Subpar food and drinks. I don't know how this place is in business. The Thai curry chicken was tough and cost one £1 extra. The buns are okay but stay away from "bubble tea". It's tasteless and has no bubbles but chunks that don't even pass through the straw. Worst "bubble" tea of my life. We had to go across the street and purchase some authentic (they speak Taiwanese) bubble tea (also better price).

We were looking for some Thai food and decided to give this place a try. Absolutely lovely, we'll definitely be ordering again! Delivery was prompt and the food was piping hot when it arrived. We ordered some sweet potato bao buns which were really unusual and tasted great. Our chicken green curry had plenty of veg and had a nice kick to it. Chicken pad thai was absolutely perfect. We were amazing at the size of the portions (don't be fooled by the small noodle boxes, there was so much packed in!) I cannot recommend enough!

Ordered couple of items, but sadly it did not turned out to be too good. Bao buns : Buns were not steamed properly and the coleslaw was a bit bitter, might be due to purple cabbage. The pulled jackfruit also did not taste too good. Thick Udon noodles: The noodles were more of gravy and most of the vegs were soggy, like they were frozen before, except the peppers. Prawn curry rice: Too sweet in taste, prawns were too hard to eat. Rice was having a strong smell like coconut oil.

Food is spot on here and great service

I have used this place every Friday got the last one month. I can go and relax use my laptop and eat at the same time. The staff members are absolutely brilliant. The owner named Saka is really passionate with this place and wants to ensure his customers get the best possible experience. I have tried most things on the menu. The standard of the food is very very high.

Had chicken masaman curry , good portion of meat and sauce and a good serving of rice. Absolutely delicious . Food served on proper Plates and bowls. Good spices and textures to the food. All 4 of us ate different dishes. Great food and great place for a takeaway too.

The Thai fried rice was really good👍🏻The sauce of the fried udon was a bit too sweet but it still reminds me of the taste of japanese yaki udon. Nice food and service.

The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered spring rolls, prawn satay, nasi goreng, and one other rice bowl. All the items were amazing and the chefs really know what they are doing. Very authentic and flavourful food. The gentleman and lady at the till were really friendly and welcoming. Their service quality was really good. The food price and portion is very reasonable. A must try place indeed.

Ordered a Mee Goreng and Korean Chicken Wings. Wings: Best chicken wings I’ve ever tasted. They were actually crispy, which is so rare to get in Chelmsford. The sauce was delicious. Not sure if they use Gochujang, but if they don’t I’d love to see some wings with that used in the future. Would be very authentic to South Korea Mee Goreng: Pretty nice, steaming hot with fresh vegetables. However, the noodles were slightly overdone and a bit mushy. Really large portion which is always good. Will absolutely order from Tuk Tuk Pan Asian again. Really good find. Glad there’s a takeaway in Chelmsford that’s not just Indian, Chinese or fried chicken.

The food at tuktuk is delicious. Well prepared and presented. Taste incredible. The staff of tuktuk are very kind. Polite and friendly. Askways hsve a smile. And are extremely welcoming.

Tuk Tuk Chelmsford is my husband and my go to, when we have had a long day and don’t want to cook, they always have tasty food at a very reasonable price. Our favourite is katsu chips and sweety bao. On a Friday night, when you have a 6 week old baby, these guys get you through!

We’ve ordered from TukTuk several times now, including dinner for 8 this evening. They are always faultless. We’ve now had delivery and collection, when delivered it arrives piping hot. When collected it’s always speedy. The food is always delicious. We couldn’t recommend them enough.

Had a great meal on a Monday night, highly recommend the Beef Dynamite Kung Pao (amazing) Chicky Bao Bao and Korean BBQ Beef Fries. Would defo come again.

Eaten here a few times and has also been amazing tonight Had the katus chicken curry amazing taste good size Portion and chicken wasn't over cooked also the chicky bao bao was lovely starter to share very tasty Chicken nasi goreng was very filling and loads of favour to it and Partner had enough to save for next day for lunch Pently of seating and service was excellent and felt very welcomed

Ordered a takeaway through Just Eat. Driver couldn't find our house and wasn't following our directions well, wanted us to go outside at 11pm to "find" him. I ended up saying don't worry and please refund me, it just got ridiculous in the end. I called the restaurant and spoke to I'm guessing the manager, he left me on hold whilst he spoke to the driver and asked me what have I done to help him find our house. I asked for a refund as it was getting late and the driver clearly ended up somewhere else, the manager refused me a refund which is what upset me the most. Your driver couldn't find me, and he was shouting down the phone, wasn't listening to our instructions which then resulted in the takeaway arriving late. The food was amazing, I can't fault that. But you need to work on your customer service big time. I had a valid reason to ask for a refund that should've been taken mote seriously.

Food was really tasty and ĝreat value if you don't have a massive appetite, as the portions are incredibly generous, so could easily be shared between 2 or even 3 people! My daughter ordered a chicken chow mein, and even with my help, we still had leftovers to take home! This wasn't a traditional chow mein either; there were no beansprouts, but lots of good quality chicken, noodles, onions, plus red and green peppers. I ordered the salt and pepper bao buns, which were also huge, with 2 in a portion. The highlight for us both, though, was the dessert - something I've never come across before - banana and Nutella spring rolls - 2 in the box, think full size pancake rolls, full to bursting with cooked banana and oozing with Nutella! You will definitely need to ask for extra tissues or take your wet wipes, as there's no way you're eating these without looking like a toddler who's just painted their face with their dinner! If I had to make one small criticism, it would be that the pastry was a little thick in places, but I guess if it was much thinner, the whole thing would just disintegrate. Boba tea was also nice. Bill was just over £30 for the 2 of us, and we were completely stuffed! Staff were friendly and helpful. Service was a little slow, but everything was made fresh, and it was Friday night. I think they were also dealing with home delivery orders. This isn't a big restaurant. There were only a few little booths with room for 2 or 3 on each side of the brightly painted wooden tables. Our table was a little sticky, so a bit more attention to cleaning might be in order, but there was only one person bringing out the food and she was rushed off her feet, so I can forgive that because I had wipes in my bag and the food made up for it! I've only given 3 stars for the atmosphere because it was quite noisy.. both tables behind ours had some "lively" conversations, which is fine if there's enough space, but in such a small area, it was a bit too loud for me! Would definitely order takeout or home delivery in the future, tho. Sadly, no photos as my phone died, but it all looked as great as it tasted.

We ordered a delivery. Delivery time was good. The food was so salty that after a few mouthfuls both my wife and I could not eat anything. We ordered several dishes. They all tasted very much the same and were all salty and gloopy. For the more than £40 I spent I was expecting half decent and fresh tasting food that Thai dishes are known for. This was not that. Food unedible I am afraid to say.

Glad they accommodated us for a late night meal on a Sunday. Really enjoyed the nasi goreng, the chicken noodles and the tom yum soup and veg green curry. Portions were amazing and we shared the above food between 4 people and could not finish it all. Only miss was the spring rolls which Is why they had to lose a star. We couldn’t eat and of the spring roll cause they were still cold as if removed from the freezer and not warmed/fried properly. Apart from that, good meal overall.

Our favourite Chelmsford takeaway by miles. Always piping hot when it arrives. The portions are huge so we often end up finishing it the next day! Flavours are authentic and powerful. A really excellent take away. Try the bao buns - they’re spectacular!

Absolutely disgusting service, having spent £88 on a takeaway we noticed immediately that an item was missing, called the restaurant straight away who went away to call the driver. They didn’t call me back and when I chased again they accused me of lying to get the item again for free, this is a £7 dish out of the whole order, what a ridiculous thing to lie about. Absolutely disgraceful service, I have ordered from here many times in the past spending £60-90 per time but will never do so again. Get your food from somewhere else.

Extremely poor - terrible customer service and gave us the wrong order. We called to let them know that our bubble tea came without tapioca pearls and the man refused to give us a refund or send the correct order. Would not recommend to ANYONE. They effectively scammed us. Edited to respond to owner's response: When I called you to complain on the night of the order you said you would not refund us or deliver the correct items, and that you would give a discount on the next order. I told you then as I will now that I would not order from you again - you were extremely rude to me over the phone, showed none of your 'usual High standards', and refused to admit you were at fault. I would like the money back from the previous order, and I will continue to warn everyone away from your business until then.

I ordered food for 43 pounds and food never got delivered. They kept on saying it will be and we had very young kids and all had to wait till 12 at night and then they didn't have any courtesy to inform about food delivery. Very bad. They don't process refund and does not deliver food. Never order

Most authentic Thai food I've eaten. We ordered red and green Thai curries and the food was so unbelievably flavoursome! Staff were also very friendly and food came quickly. Will definitely be going back.

Delicious food, decent portion sized for the cost. I really enjoyed the chicken bao bun, Korean BBQ wings and the Thai Red Curry with Prawn. Customer service was brilliant as was the vibe. A great fulfilling evening.

Went with my family for the first time and really enjoyed the food! Some of our favourites included the Korean BBQ wings, chicken bao buns, chicken katsu curry and of course their range of boba teas. The staff are very friendly, thanks for taking care of us :)

Awesome place. The buns were delicious. The noodles a bit soggy but still great flavour. Had the restaurant to ourselves. It's an order at the counter then sit place. No plates or anything so be prepared for that. We made plates from our cardboard takeaway style containers which was fine. Would definitely come back.

This take away is actually alright. It's good for lunch at work. But not the main dinner or a good take away..It has not got the real Japanese or Korean flavours. However a good try

ordered twice from here. first order was food which neither me or my boyfriend particularly enjoyed due to it being cold by the time it got here and generally not tasting very nice. ordered bubble tea the second time and while one was very nice the other had strange black bits floating around in it despite it being a fruit tea w lychee bubbles. however the people there r very friendly

Just went to the chelmsford branch. Brilliant service. Very polite and friendly staff. Wil definitely be going again. Singaporean noodles a bit spicy even for a veteran like myself. Chicken chow mein was phenomenal however and so was the bubble tea. Big s/o to the staff 👍🏼

Overpriced trash, extremely dry chicken, small portions.

Food was excellent, they clearly use high quality produce, which is prepared to perfection. The bao buns were delicious, squid was soft and not chewy at all which we loved. The guys behind the counter were lovely, excellent customer service. I think their menu said they offer some discount for click and collect, so I’ll definitely be back!

I'm currently working away from home and living out of my hotel room for the week. I've ordered from this place twice this week and both meals have been incredible! Both bao bun dishes on the menu are nuts! And the basil & chilli pad thai is amazing. Highly recommend, fast delivery, great service and 5* quality Thai food 🙌🏻

I've never written a review but this one irritated me enough to write one. I ordered via Deliveroo and ETA was 7.20pm. Food wasn't here at 8.20pm so I called up the restaurant and requested a refund. I also spoke to Deliveroo who then told me the restaurant said they delivered the food and tried to call me therefore I won't be getting a refund... I checked my doorbell and no-one was at my door nor did anyone tried to call so currently out of pocket and no food. It's a shame as the pictures other reviewers have posted look nice!

Food is nice but I’ve now been let down twice by the delivery. Both orders arrived over an hour late. Both times have been terrible excuses, first being “we had an issue with the computer system so your order came in late” and second being told it will be with me in 10 mins, and then proceeding to take another 30 mins after I called to see why it was already 30 minutes late.

Ordered a takeaway from here. Was really surprised by the portion sizes...nice and big pots... and the food tasted amazing. Loved the Bao Buns the most! Staff are really nice and friendly too. Will defo look to come back and try other things.
