Stumbled upon this place yesterday, 8th November and I’m so glad that we did. The food was so good and it felt as though we were both back walking the Camino Frances again. Good honest tapas in a down to earth, no frills, Family run restaurant. Honestly, give it a go. We’ll most certainly be going back. 👍🏻

My husband and I have been eating here (dine in and takeaway) for over 15yrs. We’ve now moved out of Chelmsford but still come back here when we can and take our children who love it too. Visited tonight with my 10yo daughter. We had such a good meal, the most welcoming and friendly service, and felt thoroughly looked after throughout. Just love this place. Best Indian in Chelmsford.

As soon as myself and family walked in we instantly felt warmly welcomed. There was a real friendly atmosphere. Had a lovely lunch and great fresh coffee . 10/10

We visited Acanteen today and had a fantastic experience compared to a previous slightly negative experience which I was reluctant to post. The service was excellent and as always the food was delicious. It has changed my previous experience and I would certainly be revisiting with family and friends and recommend highly. The customer service we received today was amazing, Veronica was extremely attentive, welcoming and bubbly, going above and beyond. The food was delicious, arrived in good time from when our drinks came. Overall and great dining experience and we could come again.

Found this place on our way to another food place that we had searched for on Google. Decided to try here and am extremely glad we did. Welcomed by a friendly and helpful young lady, and then the service by all members of staff was pleasant, attentive, and helpful. Food was lovely, and the bartender made my wife a drink that she requested but was not on the menu! Our first time here, and we already said it will not be our last! Left very happy and full up!! 😊
