O'Rich Restaurant & Takeaway in Chelmsford

First time in here was made to feel very welcome helped me pick food had a lovely time recomend taking advantage of happy hour with prices of drinks nowadays. 😊

Service par excellence! The food is amazing, the atmosphere is calm and the service is really good. The owner tries to ensure that everyone is well taken care of, and the prices are very fair too. I've eaten at the restaurant, ordered to-go and I've also order larger catering orders, and I have no complains. Especially love the Tozo, gizzdodo, and the rice dishes are quite good as well. Highly recommend

We really enjoyed the curry goat with jollof rice and plantains. Very authentic taste. Its quite a headache to use app to see menu, have atleast one printed menu in restaurant.

Wow! I had barbecued fish at O’rich and it was incredible. It was quite juicy and my kids enjoyed it.

Was recommended by a colleague at work to try and was pleasantly surprised. Had the meat pie which was full of meat with flakey pastry. Then followed it with the oxtail with rice and peas. The meat and sauce were delicious and the portion was too big for me to finish. Highly recommend!

One of the best plates of food I have had. I definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.

My issue is with the meat . You pay so much for you to get your order and the meat are almost not visible or almost spoiled. It's a shame we pay over £20 and you can't give good meats . I kept ordering and try to support you grow and complain everything about your meT . I won't order anymore. Other places you order and meats are what attracts you first .

This hidden gem is a real find, the food is amazing and authentic, the staff are so welcoming and attentive. Definitely worth a visit. I would give this place 6 out of 5 if I could 😄👌🏻

The bulk order was freshly made with authentic, traditional ingredients, and took in consideration the specific requirements I had made. The presentation, packaging and storage of the food, as well the customer service of the owner from the point of order to delivery was first-class. Thank you, ORich Restaurant, and keep it up!

The food was hot which was good but the soup was not fresh and the assorted meat was quite scanty

Disappointed to say the least, ordered oxtail and rice only to be sent a portion full of rice and only 3 oxtails, considering the price you would Expect a bit of more meat!

O’Rich meals are 1st class meals, home made delicious meals, prepared fresh and neatly served. Perfect timing and delivery too. I have always received bonus anytime I ordered takeaway and the prices are fantastic too and affordable. It’s now my favourite restaurant as I have greatly enjoyed their meals, both jollof rice, soups, snacks and take away. I highly recommend O’Rich 💯

I have never been here before and was very pleasantly surprised. It's not fancy and won't impress your prospective parents in law, but they will probably go back and eat there again.

Popped in for a bite to eat and it didn't dissapoint. Great service, tasty authentic food and even had afro beats playing on the TV. Will defo go back and recommend to friends.

Take out meal, waited over half an hour and restaurant wasn't busy Got fried chicken not jerk chicken, missing one piece, jollof rice was very salty Order was also missing one chicken patty Overcharged by my reckoning too

So glad I ordered from O’Rich Restaurant I had been searching for a restaurant where I could place bulk orders and have them delivered to location in Basildon. I was a bit worried that as they are in Chelmsford, they might not be able to deliver to my location but right from the first call I made to them to make enquiries and then place my order, they were super helpful and professional. My orders were delivered by 10am the next day and was so well packaged (not a single leakage!). Augusta was absolutely brilliant and really lovely. I had bulk ordered Oha and Bitter leaf soup and also ordered smaller portions of Ogbono soup, stews and jellof rice. They all tasted absolutely delicious. My Mum absolutely loved the Oha and Bitter leaf soups. Will definitely be ordering again. This is now officially my go to restaurant for bulk orders and the next time I’m in Chelmsford, will definitely have lunch or dinner here. Wonderfully authentic food, the Jollof & rice is a taste sensation, spicy but with a mouthful of delicious flavours. My husband had the goat curry & rice but had to taste mine as he liked the look of it, he enjoyed the curry, again a mixture of tastes and spices. Go try this restaurant!

Such a wonderful place! The lady greeted as warmly and took her time to make us nice pounded yam! I look forward to bringing the rest of my family here :)
