Best salted caramel frappe! Great service.

This branch definitely needs more staff if it's going to provide a half decent service to customers. The staff were so busy preparing on-line orders that there was a huge queue in the store. In the end I walked out. Costa are missing a trick here. The M & S café and Pause (in Dunelm) dont open until

Far too many carbohydrates being sold. Sad to see children having breakfast there.

This is our local Costas and we frequent this one regularly. Staff are friendly. Decor is nice. A few outdoor seating benches. Lots of car parking.

Delivery driver ignored me, ignored the notes, made the coffee cold and the cold drink warm. Also missing an item.

We ordered 2 drinks and 2 toasties and when it arrived it had spilt in the bag, all over the food and then leaked through the bag all over the carpet - extremely unhappy!!

Drink was cold and not drinkable

Ok For a coffee or Frappe and a bit of cake but not cheap.

Walked in and never been here before . No arrows to say what way to queue so ended up queueing the wrong end . Was made to feel like i was queueing for a school dinner and made to get to the end of the line the other end . Asked about a breakfast bap the server said on the end . She did not speak clearly and loud enough to hear her . Very hard to hear in this establishment due to the acoustics so not friendly for hearing aid users . Food was made and put on a tray but we werent told if it was finished or not to take and go and sit down . So it was left to go cold I felt very unwelcome and the service was most certainly not with a smile

Absolutely shocking coffee shop, poor quality drink and service from a disinterested team of staff. Seem to be more interested in their mobile phones than actually working and carrying out good customer service. Won't be back..

Coffee was somewhat disappointing, even for a Costa. Each of our drinks was effectively a milky coffee regardless of what was ordered. Not sure we'd go again.

Coffee, tea, smoothies, cakes, sandwiches/rolls. Clean, well designed and the staff are fantastic!

Great place for a business meeting. Only thing was that my large mocha was huge! Quite embarrassing to have such a large cup (small bucket) in front of me whilst my colleague drank a small flat white! Lovely girls serving, really quick and polite.

Missing a bottle of coke (very easy to pick off the shelf) unless they dont have in stock. No phonecall to advise me if so. Also my chicken and bacon toastie was a mess. Awful service. Ordered from here only because princes rd branch weren’t taking orders. Don’t bother, they mess up here frequently. Just eat should remove them from there suppliers because order is wrong frequently.

Was lovely. Toasty was over cooked so hard and the after eight was melted as out on top of hot chocolate. Other than that was delicious

The toast was put in the toaster after a sweet bun was heated and therefore tasted sweet from the icing

Excellent service, tasty food and the same warm welcome I've received every time no matter what staff are in - new or old. We ordered a bacon bap, a toastie and 2 drinks. The shop was fairly busy but service was quick enough to get everyone moving at a good speed, without missing any details or a polite word or 2! :) Regular customer here and will continue to be.

I went into the Costa with a friend and my father. It was a busy day but the overall customer service was poor. I didn’t feel welcome at all. The barista was being short and blunt with me whilst I was ordering. Then proceeded to get two of the three drinks wrong as we had ordered to go, but the hot drink had been brought out in a mug, which another barista had caught an attitude when corrected on the mistake. Whilst the caramel frappe that had also been ordered alongside was made wrong (it came as just an iced coffee with no caramel whatsoever - it was dead). Not happy at all. Will not be returning.

Ordered through just eat from this costa on a few occasions. There is an item missing from order almost every time and they make no attempt to contact you to let you know your items are unavailable and to ask if you would like anything different. They just write on the receipt that it was out of stock, which then leaves you with no lunch and chasing for a refund. Can’t speak to service in store as haven’t been.

Nice place especially in a hot day. Unfortunately cream in an iced coffee was artificial 🤦.

Do not order from this store, they do not keep their stock levels for hot food /sandwiches up to date. Every time I order they do not have what I ordered and they make no attempt to call and ask if you would like anything else which means I have been left without lunch on at least 3 occasions from this place. My daughter 'treated' me to lunch from here to cheer me up. She ordered via Deliveroo App. When our order arrived and we unpacked it we were surprised to find approx half our items missing. 2 of the items were possibly substitutes but no explanation one looked like a toasted sandwich with tomatoes(ordered mac and cheese) I can't eat tomato's as react with my medication. Luckily we managed to make a sandwich from items at home but not what was planned. I tried to ring the store to see if a bag had been left behind but when I rang the number from from Google maps got told phones were not available contact on line. We managed to get lunch sorted out. Not a great first order, not sure if it will be repeated. Last week we ordered from another well known coffee chain who did not have 2 items on our order we had a card for each item apologising for the lack and asking us to call in store for a free drink, this leaves a much more positive feeling about the whole experience than no explanation at all.

Nice little Costa with good seating areas inside and out. Food was fresh and hot but prices were advertised wrongly and we were charges more than the stated price. When we went back inside to use the toilets prices displayed had been changed....

Why go anywhere else for coffee when you can go to a Costa

Ordered from Costa, drinks didn’t arrive and deliver driver dropped and ran. When I shouted to tell him he said “sorry not my problem, call store!”

Shocking place I was just sat in this restaurant for an hour they have 4 members of staff and not once did they clean a table or clear up half the tables had used cups and plates on when the manager is away you can really tell the difference

It seems I have shares in this company as I'm very rarely out of one of their stores. Brilliant as always.

It was lovely and the manager like a super Clean seating area. There were no trays left on tables waiting to be cleaned away. It was refreshing to see someone who really cared about the client experience. Well done!

Food turned up cold. No flavouring in my coffee at all. Coffee luke warm.

Really like Costa coffee, and this is an easy shop to visit as parking is usually ready available - UPDATE opening times have changed so closing at 6 weekdays, still earlier than pre covid

Lovely staff and the usual treats. Strange though they have locks on toilets now but are happy to give you the number. Lots of notices explaining what you have to do.

Well placed next to clock tower shops, oddly placed at edge of carpark as if it was going to be a drive through but its not. Really nice staff, never been overly busy when I've been and plenty of seating. Handy stop during shopping trip or picking up a takeaway if leaving town.

Trays left laying on 4/5 of the tables... Customers are having to clear them to have a place to sit. What a depressing place to be.

Tables not clean, food on floor under table's. Coffee and food up to Costa standard.

Ambience is lovely, however almost every time we go there all the seats and tables are either occupied or are dirty with old cups and crumbs. It really is hard to get a nice, clean place to sit. The lattes/hot chocolates here are always so creamy and delightful to drink though.

It's a coffee shop so usual standard. We went twice on the same day early morning and late afternoon. Both times the floor needed cleaning and tables were sticky. Chairs were dirty with crumbs and stains. I'm not sure how much the staff are to blame as at most there were 3 and very busy serving.

Expensive for what you get. £4.50 toastie was lovely on top bottom was just soft white bread. Latte wasn't hot enough for sugar to dissolve.

Skimmed milk Latte with sugar-free vanilla syrup arrived as semi-skimmed Latte with no syrup. Only option is a refund. Can't contact the store to ask for a replacement so no coffee for irate girlfriend. Ordered again from another Costa to avoid catastrophe.

Had a meeting in Costa drinking coffee and having lunch. A week later I received a parking fine from the car park operator as we had stayed over 3 hours. Please be aware…

Absolutely disgusted, our order arrived 10mins late and there was no latte as it had spilled in the drivers bag so we received the cup but no drink. The delivery driver was not even interested in helping and handed us the food and ran off.

Just stopped here for coffee before visiting other stores on the shopping complex. Nice latte.

Clean friendly and fast service at an outlet on the Chelmsford Clocktower retail park. Standard Costa outlet so you know what to expect. Coffee was good, latte milk not over heated or scorched as at some other chains and outlets.

Drinks spilt everywhere and tasted very bitter latte didn’t have syrup that I paid for in it and they were Luke warm

I hot a bacon roll when I ordered sausage. I want a refund.

I ordered 2 large Cappuccinos but they were half full. It's as if they use a big cup but a smaller serving. I've ordered many times from here so I know how full they should be. Disgruntled Employee I guess.

Went one week, had no coffee. Went this week no ice or coconut milk.

Yesterday I order a toasted sandwich and a capiccino , there was a delay with the sandwich and I can only commend thier quick and pleasant response to rectify the mistake and the helpful staff.

My daughter and I went to this Costa and were appalled. My daughter ordered a gingerbread hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows. Firstly her hot chocolate was cold. Secondly the barista put her marshmallows in a separate cup (when not asked to) and made her put them in herself. It tasted like plain, cold, effluent water. It took over 10 minutes for our drinks to be ready (keep in mind that there were 4 barista’s there). We also ordered a chocolate hot cross bun which we were told had just chocolate chips and no raisins. But of course they were wrong and there were raisins in it. Appealed by the service, quality and hygiene of this Costa.

Coffee good but you should really send demante (apologies for the spelling) on a course to learn even the most basic set of manners. Appreciate it's a Sunday afternoon and I really don't expect much... but shes just plain rude.

Food and drinks were stone cold and delivery driver took forever to get here! Was late.

So my daughter and I ordered food to take out.. As apparently they were closing 2 hours early received a luke warm half toasted cheese and tomato toasty with matching luke warm tea. Yuk. Visit Costa drive thru on a weekly basis and always good. Won't bother with Clock Tower again

They left me a note because they were out of oat milk and used almond milk instead… which is fine for me… but they still made it the wrong size????
