Fantastic brunch treat with my mother. Lovely no nonsense place and food. Friendly staff that always say hello.

Met up with my son, good food, fresh and well cooked, clean cafe with good service.

Everything was hot when it came, and very delicious 10/10

Unfortantely the bacon was a bit tough today which is quite ubnusal for this resttarant but apart that can’t fault service

Great fry up and tasty coffee. Efficient service, big menu- lots to choose from.Lots of seating available inside and outside. I believe is independently run cafe, so definitely recommend to stop by and support local business instead of big chain.

Overpriced with very little food £6.90 for a baguette with one sausage one egg and a few tin mushrooms tasted awful as well

Food deliouds as usual, polite driver who assisted by closing my front door as i had my hands full which was very helppful. Would strongly recommend the pancakkes inn styrup

Nice staff, nice breakfast, cheap sausage though 🤮 quite pricey and any add ons are daylight robbery prices. But overall a nice breakfast out.

The food was very nice.only problem I found was with the price 2 slices of bread £1 I only wanted 1 slice they charge 80p I have no idea why I got charged extra 30p it's ridiculous. I don't like these tricks lost a customer for 30p well done

But disappointed as the milkshake sizes have halved! Ordered them the other day & hoped it was just a case of ran out of the normal sizes but after today, that’s obviously the size now. Not worth it.

A family run cafe in Moulsham street Chelmsford , the place is clean the food is good and the value is excellent . We stopped for breakfast and all enjoyed it .

For ten pound, the portions were a bit pathetic. No peppers, tomato, cucumber in a ten pound salad?

Just can’t complain. Food always cooked great and they have great bubble and squeak. Mocha coffee is lovely. Service good.

Today's eating adventure... the Moulsham Cafe. Tables and chairs sit empty, waiting for a hungry passer by. The inside, clean and quiet, for a hand-made meal cafe. Be aware that if you have a pushchair, the smaller rows between seating may cause you to run over toes. We sat ourselves and waited for a few moments before the waitress came to take our order. Approximately 10 minutes later, our breakfast for 4 was served. Our two youngsters loved their sausage and eggs, nearly eating every bite. My smoked salmon was nice, eggs perfectly poached. The 4th meal, a Hungry Man. Satisfy yourself on Mulsham Street with a quick stop for a bite to eat by ordering one of the many available hand prepared meals and a lovely cup of tea.

I eat mushroom and chicken homemade pie. Was very tasty.

I particularly liked the wat the ice cream was separate to apple pie as you came put it in the freezer. Good idea

Potatoes were terrible we didn't eat them and got extra on 2 of the meals yorkies also had one bite and didnt eat just tasted like oil meat was good and veg was ok

I ordered the No. 7 breakfast with extra burger / onions / black pudding. Everything was cooked to perfection the onions were not soggy or overcooked All in all it was delicious breakfast. It arrived pipping HOT brilliant !!! Yum

Driver left food on doorstep dispite the fact that i have a large sign say please ring the bell & wait so wasn’t impressed as it took me a few minutes to find delivery.

Food was nice, prices are good place is clean... its a decent place for a breakfast.

When the food arrived it was all cold. I was also missing the milkshake.

Chicken tikka bagette was liovely. Food arrived on time & can’t fault anything. Did i mention the chicken tikka baggette ??? It was yummy

Good food but got over charged for my kids food! My sons 2 i ordered a kids omelette tat was meant to be 4.50 but ended up 6.00 and my egg had green in it was told what happens when u microwave what I’ve never heard of !!! Never again will they see my face again sym

I ordered set menu breakfast I asked for no sausage and an extra egg which works out cheaper she said to me will have to charge you extra for the egg I got up and went somewhere never again

Sausage and onion baguettes very tasty bubble was Luke warm only 7 pieces of vegetables in small portion rest all potatoes. Delivery driver was awful knocked on door placed food bag on wet pavement and walked up path and sat for 7 minutes at top of drive which in that time he could have waited 3 minutes for me to get to the door and hand food bag to me . Very disappointed in his customer service as he was parked for 7 mins at top of our drive

Ordered a cheese baguette and got the thinnest sub roll I've ever seen.

Quick service. Coffee was piping hot and bacon sandwich was lovely

Usually breakfast is of a very high quality unfortunately, this time many of the items were burnt and almost inedible a very poor show for this cafe

Nice little cafe! Came for breakfast and didn't disapoint. Only didn't give 5 stars as it was off putting as a customer was smoking outside area right in doorway which came inside..no real fault of owners I know. But we will be back

Food was an hour late. I called the restaurant to check and the man lied to me telling me it was out for delivery, when it hadn’t arrived after another 20 mins I called back and a young girl answered told me it was still there!! Awful service. Don’t take orders if you can’t handle them.

Excellent restaurant + delivery service for speed and politeness, however there is a strong smell of grease from the bag, which is slightly off-putting. The sausages in the baguette are only just warm, not overly hot and slightly overcooked. The tuna roll smells and looks delicious though

The food quality wasn’t great. It was cold. Bean pot had been put on upside down and went all over the other food boxes.

I have already put a complaint about this and I have not yet received my refund I’m am furious that my food turns up late AND COLD and I don’t even get a reply. I want my money back asap

Ordered a vegetarian meal and got the wrong order, all meat! Called the restaurant who said it wasn't their problem once the order was given to the driver. Still hungry!

Our food was ok, one item, a bacon baguette was missed off our order. We called the cafe and they agreed to send it but it still never turned up. Shocking customer service, we will not order from here again.

i have to say the prawn baguette was vile. even my dogs refused to eat it. the salad however fantastic not sure i’ll order again as the baguette was just awful. 20 quid all in all wasted

No sign of the milkshake I paid £3 for. Shame as the food was good and I would have ordered from them again. Unfortunately the child I have sitting here with no drink means no more orders from here.

I went to this place on a Sunday morning to grab an early breakfast. The place was basic and clean. Not one of the staff were welcoming, I sat down and looked at the menu and made my choices, no hello, good morning, bad. After I ordered, a grumpy guy walked out from behind the counter and took my menu and took it off the table and placed it on the seat opposite. No communication. Now as someone who likes to read menus further, I got up and picked it up. Why would the manager do that and not even speak. While waiting for my food another customer came in and had a massive order, again, grumpy said nothing. Food arrive and was very good and nice coffee. If you are the sort of person who like not to be spoken to and expect no pleasantries this is the place for you. Shame the food was good. Its free to smile....

Ordered a beef baguette. Assumed it would be nice roast beef. It was corned beef. Very disappointed. You need to be clear on what you are selling.

I frequently visit this cafe but unfortunately today I was disappointed. I asked for a prawn baguette and it arrived loaded with salad but about eight prawns. I asked for more prawns, which they did but I have left feeling a bit hard done by when I realised they have charged me an extra 60p to add more.

Really tasty food. Perfectly wrapped so that the food didn’t go soggy. Will definitely order again.
