The best restaurants in Thetford-Castle Breckland East of England

Enjoyed a very decent coffee and sausage sandwich today. I drop in whenever I'm in Thetford and always good food and drink here, especially the cakes.

This was my first visit to Nimmi. It was lovely to see a menu that is different to the usual offerings from Indian restaurants. It was really hard to choose because of the excellent and interesting range of dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered. The staff were lovely. Friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be going again.

Great food, staff pleasant, lovely interior and floors not too sticky. Only downside is the tables are not cleared away or wiped before you use them

It was totally packed out to mark Remembrance Sunday. I had quite a wait for around 15 minutes, but the staff was really pushing out orders and getting the queue down. Quite a few empty places to sit in and staff clearing as customers left. Good team work 👏

Great meal - they accommodated a group of 28 with all food coming out hot at the same time. Great service.

Lovley people, clean space and even better food. The sauces are great and full of flavor and very affordable.

Crap staff more interested in there phones no lids for cups no trays struggled to carry our food no help given very dirty will not go there again and apparently there toilets don't work needs a total makeover and a good clean and retrain there rude staff

We had a poor experience from the moment we walked in. The waitress was rude as we sat down. We didn’t get menus or our drinks order taken for 20 minutes. When our food arrived we instantly realised there were issues. I got the roast turkey but had no roast potatoes. I did flag this and the waitress got me some. My partner ordered beef Bourguinon which was listed as coming with butter mash but it didn’t have any potato on the plate and instead came with roast dinner trimmings. My friends had burgers and chips which looked so sad on the plate. Another waitress who served them even said ‘sorry these don’t look very appealing’! They tasted like a cheap Spoons meal for double the price. We told the original waitress the issues when she came to clear the plates and she didn’t care and didn’t even apologise. Overall it was a really disappointing experience.

Fantastic fish & chips Beautiful people very satisfied on the food services and the service that I received and I rate this food to all the public.

Staff always friendly. Came in for a lattee with a friend, nice to hear music but it was uncomfortably loud today not very relaxing.

I didn't get past the first hurdle !! They wanted £20 deposit to take the booking !!! I do understand why they would want to do that, but to my mind that is unacceptable.
