Subway in Breckland

I'm reviewing on trip advisor as I couldn't find anywhere on Subway website to give feedback about Diane and how she was the only one who appeared to be working this day. (Saturday 5th August) She is a credit to you Subway. She was friendly, professional and efficient and didn't stop! There were other people in subway uniforms wandering about or sitting down, but while we were there eating our lunch which she had prepared, whilst also putting things in the oven, taking things out, sorting delivery orders and doing a hundred other things, the others just floated about not really contributing at all. Diane made our visit very good, we enjoyed the food which was lovely and fresh and would be back. I hope this feedback reaches Diane as she deserves the pat on the back. Thanks

Restaurant is clean, nice relaxed atmosphere, staff very friendly and smiling. Food is your standard Subway fare. No complaints.

Today I took my son who was visiting us to the Thetford subway, after his flight from Northern Ireland. He asked for a gluten free roll and you would have thought he was asking for the world. The more mature lady behind the counter told him, getting that would slow down the service for the customers waiting (one couple waiting behind us) and she would have to clean the area down. Off she went with a sigh and got the cleaner and a paper towel. 1 squirt and one wipe of the counter, then a wipe of the door handle of the oven and done. We are so sorry the lady had to go out of her way so much to help my son out. Perhaps she thinks coeliac is life choice, it's NOT is a life changing disease. Then she had a go at my son as she didn't know what he wanted and she decided what he should have. This is unbelievable bad service and not the way you should treat people who have health issues. Hopefully the lady will change her attitude and treat everyone the same, not have such an attitude.

This subway has been recently refurbished so it is fresh inside and out, well maintained and clean when we have visited! However we will not be visiting again. Food order taken eventually, staff seems preoccupied by orders being taken remotely than dealing with the customers in person in front of them. We eventually got our order taken, sandwiches made. Specifically already ordering our vegan cookies / normal cookies - only to be told we actually couldn’t have them, having them removed from our bag of items as they had been ‘sold’ elsewhere even though we had them on our order and had paid. They had none left. The staff were frankly rude and the lady involved was not interested and tried to ignore me. At this point another member of staff did intervene and gave us the cookies back as we had ordered and paid. This member of staff was fantastic and tried to rectify the situation, however the other member of staff became stroppy and damn right rude.

Overpriced overrated and pretty dam tasteless Staff more interested in telephone orders waited a good 4/5 minutes for service fast food!

Don’t bother visiting the Thetford Subway shop if you’re in a hurry. For the 3rd time running now, the staff have been more interested in preparing the phone orders than serving waiting customers in the shop. I waited 5 mins today, without so much of a word from the one member of staff preparing the phone orders. I did get a couple of gormless glances though. I walked out in the end as I couldn’t wait any longer due to work commitments. That’s three times out of three now Subway that you have behaved like this, it is also 3rd time unlucky for you as I won’t be returning in the future.

Not really much to say about the subway, it offers all the usual fillings that you would expect from this chain. Always had good service from here.

I come in on the 15th of September and I couldn’t be more UNhappy. I normally get lovely service and they are very helpful but today is a different question! Was served by a member of staff called Sara. I didn’t see the sign that said ‘Chicken and bacon’ so asked for ‘roast chicken with extra bacon’ and she answered back with bad attitude ‘so you want chicken and bacon then’ and when I agreed she made it. Then when I asked for cucumber on it because she didn’t have any she slammed her hand against the side and tutted at me. However while paying was served by a young man called Andy and he couldn’t have been nicer, so thank you to him! I have never been made to feel so stupid in a shop before!

Today (15th September) I was served by a lady named Sara she made me feel stupid and my sister who has dyslexia ordered but worded her order slightly wrong she made her feel small overall she was rude we come here often and was extremely disappointed on the other hand the guy at the till named Andy was lovely and a pleasure to talk to

Nothing to really to shout about just ordinary bread filled rolls rolls with your choice of filling.

Subway food as to be expected - kids are very happy to get food here. Like many subways the space is not great to eat in - it's tight and often very full at peak times like Saturday lunchtimes.

The staff are friendly, polite, and helpful, the food is good, tasty, and fresh, and the whole establishment is spotless! You can't reasonably expect more than that!

Good place to snack in or take away. Always happy with selection. Hygiene suits, always nice and clean, staff friendly. Fast service. Recommended. Collect points too

Visited 22nd November for takeaway lunch.The lady who served me has worked here for a long time,unfortunately I do not know her name...she has really long hair.... always polite and does the best salad in the subs! I thought you deserved a mention! Thank you

Me and my partner regularly use this eatery, there’s a big variety of breads and fillings, it’s clean and tidy and staff are great too! Have also various different sides to accompany the sandwich, salad or wrap! Would recommend to anybody looking for a budget lunch and good quality.

We got a take away 12" roll to share at our hotel, we had eaten heavily during the morning so wanted something light before going to bed. Very pleasant young lady served us and the food was as expected tasty and good value.

We love a subway but was taken back how rude the older lady that is the boss or thinks she is is to the staff in there, saying oi do that. Could not believe our ears to a point my partner pointed out very loudly that is plain rude! The lady in front of us couldn’t beleave it either to which she said can’t wait to get to work to a nice boss! Nice food but the lady left a bad taste

Lots to choose from. The restaurant is quite small but it's always clean and tidy. Not much seating due to the lack of space too.

Doesnt matter if you need breafast lunch or dinner there is a choice for each and choosing just want you want is always a plus in my mind

Food as always with Subway is top notch, however this store appears to have started charging for the drinks instead of including them with the sub itself £3.20 now the subs are £3 and £1 to add a drink, will not use this store again

I use it as it is on my way to work at 3/4 times a week l also do get food sometimes all depending, l do enjoy their Garden salads

This is a great place to meet up with friends and have a snack. They have soup too! Great place for kids too!

Very polite staff. Helpful and patient. Observed some of the staff being very kind to two elderly customers and helping them. Food was excellent as always. Fairly priced.

As a recent convert to subway, mainly due to there good coffee, loyalty programme and good value deals, we popped in for a lunch. Service was quick and friendly and our subs were hot and tasty.

If you get a snack attack whilst shopping in Thetford, try Subway it offers healthy alternatives to other eateries in the town and is competitively priced.

the service is superb,very friendly. ingredients seem very fresh. they have some specials. My only criticism is there coffee isn't very nice

Love it here fast service good staff, could arrange seating better to get more space out of the area they have. Good deals but think they should do more to encourage more customers to come in.

the food did not in any way match the pictures on the menu, not even close. I asked for the meat ball sub with cheese, when she made it, it had no cheese, when I asked she said I could pay for another one?? I asked to speak to the manager who said put some cheese in, to which the girl did, but it was a vert thin layer of cheese and it did not melt as it had got cold while we were discussing it. very little seat8ing and poor staff attitude.

Good food on the go - it is good for those who are on a diet as you can select a low fat option - you obviously can chose not to!

Clean, food is fresh and looks good but I went in twice last month to just grab a coffee and on both occasions their machine was off for cleaning!

We stopped in at Thetford's Subway for a couple of subs and a salad. I have to admit being a fan of this chain having first encountering it over 20 years ago in the States. The Thetford franchise meets the standard I am accustomed to. The premises are clean and easy to get to from the market square. The fresh baked breads and the wide choice of fillings, salad and sauces were of very good quality, though the potion sizes of the fillings (though in theory uniform across the chain) were a little less generous than at some outlets. All in all it was a tasty quick meal.

Lots of choice, and service is quick. All food tastes fresh and nice. The staff are good. Clean. It's quite small and could do with more tables and chairs. Not much room for wheelchairs and buggies to get around.

have had several variations of subs, but on the whole find that when ive added all the salad items and walked to the car and proceeded to eat I have found the rolls to be soggy even when they have been toasted, this maybe down to the salad and sauces, but it has made me avoid the place for a long time..

What a great service, and how GOOD are Subways!!!Perfectly clean, friendly staff, and a great place to have a evening snack when you have no idea what you fancy :)

lots of choice and quick service, all food was fresh and tasted very nice, the place its self is nice and welcoming even though its small, could do abit better on chair space as when busy its very hard to get prams through and some people find the chairs a little uncomfortable but the food and staff itself are great!

Meal deals were excellent value and their Latte is one of the best I have ever tasted. Service - fast, friendly and efficient.

Always fresh food .I love to eat there especially you can chose what exactly you want to eat .Good service.
