Great food. Best in Dereham by a mile. Shame it is cash only

It's ok, but I find it pretty expensive for what is essentially a poorly maintained understaffed roadside cafe with one toilet.

I’ve been coming to Kings Burger bar in Dereham For about a year now. I live in Norwich And only come to Dereham Once a week. He is definitely the best kebab I’ve ever eaten. The service is so friendly. Nothing is too much to ask. If you haven’t tried the kebab or pizza from here, then I definitely advise that you come along and try it. Thank you guys for making it such a nice experience coming in here. James

We walked into Dereham on a Wednesday evening for a bite. No life in other pubs, so we decided on the Romany Rye for the first time. The place is very pleasant inside with friendly staff and a buzzing atmosphere. Yes, it is a Wetherspoon, so you know what you get, but the food and drinks were very good. The crowd is an interesting mix of older and younger people.

Stood waiting for ages to even be acknowledged whilst 2 members of staff were ‘working’ Ordered and sat down with my disabled father and after about 20 minutes one of the workers called out our order and pointed at a tray and told me it had been sat there for 10 minutes already! Awful service

The best donor I’ve ever had in my life. And I’m not just saying that. This has been the best food I’ve tasted in a while. 1 hundred percent.

a really good Sunday roast in the home cooking style. Very tasty beef and excellent gravy, and lots of vegetables piled on the plate. Terrific value too; we'll be back for more

It's pretty good food at affordable pricing but it's often slow to be served when it's busy.

The main shop... What's happening with this store? The freezer area constantly has water all over the floor... Totally mucky with the odd yellow 'traffic cone' dotted around with a warning! And dangerous. Many of the freezers u cannot even see through the glass. Many empty fridges. The fruit & veg quality (particularly apples /oranges) is absolutely dreadful. We are now doing our grocery shopping at Aldi, as are many people that we know. So very, very sad. Management needs seriously looking at.

Disappointingly dirty and uncared for. Having ordered our drinks it was a case of avoiding tripping over the litter spread liberally around the floors and choosing the least manky table to sit at. The place hadn't been cleaned for a couple of hours - or at all - that day by the look of it. Floors and tables were not remotely inviting and the bin was full to overflowing. You'd expect better from a national chain. Three members of staff on too but no one taking any interest in the customer environment. That's the not-so-good side covered. But on the positive side the till service was cheery, friendly and efficient and overall very pleasant. Also the coffee and steak bake were very good. It just would have been nice to have somewhere vaguely pleasant to consume it.

What a load of rubbish order wrong and when confront about it they hung up and were rude and denying they were in the wrong, scampi burnt, Do not order from them

This is a good spot for a party . But I would say I feel like it is always rushed because of the fine .you might want to go into the play area which brings me to the next thing the play area becomes boring and it is quite dirty also going down the slide hurts !

Dined in, waited an OK amount of time, food was almost cold when it turned up. Even the apple pies which are normally nuclear for half an hour were luke warm. Burger was very dry, like it had been cooked and left to dry out in a warming oven or something. Not great.

Arrived quick time by delivery. Service on phone was friendly and helpful, delivery driver was pleasant and courteous. Food is as good as you'll get for the price. Yes, there was a little grease, you can't make a kebab without grease coming out of the lamb. It was hot and tasty, and just what we ordered!
