First time ordering takeaway from Maharaja and the food was amazing ....asked for extra garlic on everything which they absolutely delivered on...massive onion bahjees and definatly recommend king prawn starter...oh my....going back for seconds now!

What a great find. The food was delicious and so fresh..such a joy to find authentic Nepalese cuisine with such vibrant flavour. The service was also immaculate. Most impressed. If you need a good dinner near the cinema in Braintree ..look no further.

Very good food and taste authentic, they can also change the spice level depending on your tolerance.i would recommend as it has a bit of everything for every one. This is my regular treat. Also for the rest of the month (February) from Monday till Thursday, they have a deal where if you spend £30 gbp you get 25% off your order! The people that own it also are very nice and have banter with their customers! Would recommend to anyone looking for a good meal and good price from good people!

Just had the best Indian takeaway in years from here. It was our first time as my friend recommended it and it's was fantastic.

Never got to try the food. The restaurant was cold and uninviting. Had to leave as they don't allow dogs, they cited hygiene, health and safety as being the issue, so how come i manage to eat in lots of restaurants and take my dog with me ?

This was literally a stones throw from where we were staying so on Monday night (after a lovely Chinese lunch in Witham) we had a "snacky" dinner from here of chips and gravy! The chips were freshly cooked so I had to wait 5-6 minutes but this was not a problem. It certainly looks very clean inside and the food was good and tasty.

We always order from here it is the best Chinese and best service my only complaint today was chicken was lovely n white in fried rice but very dark in chicken chow mein it is usually same as fried rice so a bit disappointing

Just back from The Bull in Braintree, and let me tell you, if you’re a York City fan looking for a friendly watering hole, this place rolls out the red (and blue) carpet for you! From the moment we walked in, Lauren welcomed us like long-lost relatives – the kind who don’t owe you money. Now, let’s talk about that Chilli Chicken Burger. Oh. My. Days. It’s like they took a chicken, sent it on an all-expenses-paid trip to Flavour Town, and then gently nestled it between two heavenly buns. Spicy, succulent, and worth every bite-induced tear of joy. If that burger was a York City striker, we’d be top of the league. And the hospitality? Top-notch. Lauren made sure we were fed, watered, and generally treated like VIPs. If York City had her running the midfield, we’d be in the Premier League by now. And the locals? Welcomed us like we were the new signing of the season. In short: Great beer, amazing food, and proper banter. The Bull’s a must-visit if you’re in Braintree, especially if you rock up in red and blue.
