Missing dishes, cold food and enough meat to feed a mouse. Wont be going back. The restaurant was quick to deliver our missing dish however it didn't make up for the other issues unfortunately. It's such a shame as we use to really enjoy this take away. I wonder why it has gone so downhill.

1st order- missing items but tasty food. 2nd order- after an hour of waiting, I was told the driver had been to my location but hadn't delivered the food. Refund and food was sent again (over 2 hours since I first ordered). Food was like warm but ok apart from the chips (raw). 3rd order- after an hour of waiting, I was told my food had been delivered to the wrong address. I would not have known this unless I had called. Refunded. 4th order- there will not be another order! Terrible service!

Not had a takeaway for a month as a consequence of Mr Corona. Felt an irresistible need, made the call, food delivered quickly and was not disappointed. Definitely would use again.

I wanted to take the time to write a review as we just had a fantastic experience. Very prompt (non contact) delivery (due to lockdown). Food arrived 10 minutes earlier than stated too - how often does this happen? Not very often from my experience of other restaurant deliveries so was very happy. The food was great! We tried this restaurant on the off chance for the first time- and we will definitely return. We asked for special requests and to knock quietly as my daughter was sleeping - all acknowledged - thank you :) My other half said his onion bhajis were the nicest he’s had. Very impressed with the quality of meat. We have live in Dunmow for 5 years and didn’t realise that they deliver - very pleased to have found this restaurant. 🙌

we visit braintree from malta, it was buzzing and the coke was great, my wife luv the mushroom sag alloo. it was magic, i would go back for more but it seems it has shut for the day or is closed, has anyone any idea what is going on, honest we loved their food, my wife and i have never been so happy when we ate the food, man,

I have reviewed this takeaway after it first opened. So it was time to go back and take another look. This time it was almost superb. Great service when I went in from the lady that dealt with my order. Food was awesome. I will be coming back again. Ordered Garlic Chilli Chicken, Chicken Tikka Madras, Naga Garlic Tandoori Chicken and Pilau Rice with chilli. Sorry I like chilli and garlic. Just my advice to Miah's... make all of your starters come with a salad and a sauce. Some starters come with a salad at the moment and others don't. I'll be back

This a take away/delivery service no restaurant facilities. Delivered within half an hour of ordering which is good round here for a Friday night, food was really very good couldn't fault it at all, will definitely be using them again

Miah’s Indian’s food and service are very poor indeed. I ordered my food with their online service, at 5.05pm. I phoned them at 6.15pm, to be told “ the drive left 2 minutes ago. 20 minutes later I was about to phone them again, when the doorbell rings. I take the food and get it out of the bag, only to realise that things are missing, I then phone the restaurant back to ask about missing items, I get put on hold, then when the guy comes back on the line, he pretends he can’t hear me! To add insult, when I do try the food, it’s cold and the chicken is chewy. Never ordering from here again.

My friends & family recommended me this new Indian takeaway in town so I thought I would give them a try & I can honestly say it was the best Indian I have had since moving into the area a year ago. I have tried several Indian’s in Braintree & I can say this takeaway was the best by far. The staff were very friendly also. Thank you will be ordering again very soon.

Just ordered our third meal in a few months from Miahs, absolutely super food. Onion bhajais which are my favourite have no oil dripping from them and are perfect, the dishes we tried were all so tasty and so very different, you can taste the ingredients and it smells yummy too. Rice is really fragrant and so fresh and tasty. Nan lovely. Well dine

Think it is still held in family, however I ordered a Meat samosa starter... NO Salad included. NO sauce either. The prices have gone up ridiculously. No free Bombay aloo.. Now to the food.. Was just ok but not good enough for the price increases. Sorry guys but working where you do you have be the best location. You are not now and After 32 Years as my fav takeaway Indian place... No more orders from me..SORRY

Have order different food to what I have had before, really nice not silly hot or bright red , very happy, would differently tried them again ..

Me and my boyfriend fancied trying a new Indian in town and come across this one, we thought we would give it a go and honestly couldn’t be more pleased! We are quite difficult customers but they were more than happy to help! Service was fab and so was the food, full of flavour! Absolutely amazing all round service and can’t wait to recommend to my family and friends!

I tried Miah’s Indian the first day it opened. And it was brilliant and have ordered there ever since. Dishes are full of flavours, onion bhajis are cooked to perfection and naan breads are all made fresh. Staff are very friendly. My number one indian takeaway in braintree for me. Give it a try!!

One of the best indian food i have tried. Full of flavours. 100% would recommend this indian & its about time that there is a good indian takeaway in braintree town.

This was the first time I have tried 'Miahs Indian' & i can honestly say it was the most amazing Indian food i have tried in Braintree. The curry i had was 'Kushbu chicken Jaipuri' the flavours were unbelievable & the portion size were spot on & it's very good value for money. I would 100% recommend 'Miahs Indian' to everyone who haven't tried them yet.

First time eating Miah’s Indian I was a bit nervous at first because I’m so used to the Ruby in Braintree and I will not be going back to the Ruby ! OMG ! Best Indian I’ve ever eaten ! If you want a good curry give them a call ASAP !! Will certainly be going back !
