What a great find. The food was delicious and so fresh..such a joy to find authentic Nepalese cuisine with such vibrant flavour. The service was also immaculate. Most impressed. If you need a good dinner near the cinema in Braintree ..look no further.

Fabulous food, vegetable momos were outstanding. We had a really lovely selection, everything tasted as described, meat was very tender (especially the Mustang Lamb). Thank you for another super meal

My husband and I order curries from here. What brilliant authentic Indian food cooked to a very high standard and totally delicious 😋. We were both very happy and totally impressed. We would recommend to all

We came as a large group for my friend’s birthday and I could not be more impressed with the attentive service despite the rest of the restaurant also being packed. Food was delicious and not too long waiting. Extra care was taken to ensure nothing was missed off of what was a big order, and they treated my friend to cake and flowers which was a lovely touch. Will definitely be back.

Very tasty, lovely staff and accommodating to our son (where this was his first experience of a curry). Really nice way to spend my birthday.

Me and a group of friends decided to have dinner at this restaurant one evening. On arrival we were greeted and shown to our table where we all got comfortable. However to our surprise without warning they suddenly gave us poppadoms and then took a while to actually take our drinks orders. Thought it would make sense for us to order drinks before getting the poppadoms. Also after ordering the drinks we had to wait another short while to order our food. And that didn't go well either as a while after we ordered our food one of the staff came back and had to retake some people's orders due to some 'mistake' that took place. And with some of us we were given our hot plates only to have them taken away because they were 'not hot enough'. When our food did arrive it was of very good quality. But what really let me down was the service. As we ended up spending 3 hours there which shouldn't be normal for a busy restaurant on a Saturday night. Also some of my friends did have to speak to the manager in order to provide feedback and mention the poor level of service. So much as I did enjoy the food, I will not be eating here again.

Lovely food, don’t get an Indian takeaway that often but will repeat soon. We shared House Special Mixed Biryani, Onion Bhaji, peshwari naan, and vegetable palak. All hot all fresh. Killer bhaji not experienced one so good for a long time.

This was an amazing takeaway. Herbs and spices used so skillfully. You were able to savour the taste. Especially recommend the Everest Chicken

Sorry but I def won’t be booking for Christmas food from you. I’ve just had this which is chicken tikka masala. It is 5 pieces of chicken in what I can only describe as vile soup. I get you do 50% off but I would rather be able to eat it than literally throw it away like I’ve just done. Very disappointed

Little India is the best Indian restaurant in Halstead, confirmed by my taste buds! I've tried them all. Even though they don't deliver, I make the effort to go and collect, knowing it'll be worth it. Other restaurants just can't beat Little India! Their restaurant hospitality is also excellent, we've taken friends and family to dine in, and all have loved it. They serve Kingfisher beer on drought, as well as a non-alcoholic version when driving. We've discovered delicious new dishes, such as the Nepalese 'Kuka Co Co Paka', which my partner orders most times. The Chicken Tikka Masala / Mixed Grill Masala, and Chicken Passanda, are amazing and we regularly order. I was surprised to find Little India didn't have 4.5+ rating, so felt compelled to write a review. Keep up the good work, Little India!

Booked for news years eve 2 weeks in advance . Went up and the restaurant obviously took larger bookings and there were no tables. I had my 2 young daughters with me and my youngest was in tears in front of the restaurant guests. Not going back again. Luckily the Cinnamon tree took us in even though they were booked up.
