Im a regular here, have been going for years, their food tastes good, place is kept clean and the staff are friendly and provide excellent service. It's not expensive, which also makes it a bargin

We went to Cyprus fish bar Braintree, celebrating National Fish and Chips Day. The service was excellent and the guys very friendly . The cod ,chips and mushy peas were freshly cooked whilst we sat on the veranda in the evening sun. Thanks very much CFB, ❤️

Pretty poor, fish soggy , chips very poor, when we tell to waiter about fish batter is soggy he was very agrecive to us . Very poor service. Never go there again.

Service is too bad and not customer friendly. We have ordered fish and chips and asked for dips but suddenly without any reason the guy inside bar became rude. Very upset..

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 WINNERS in the Black Notley Cubs Chip Shop Challenge. 🏆🍟 Trying chips from every shop in town, the Cubs and Beavers voted Cyprus Fish Bar as the clear winner. My son won't eat chips from anywhere else in town, so since then we can confirm that the place serves very good fish and chips. My cod has always been superb and the chips deserving of their winning status. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, it is well worth a try.

I love it in there. All of the people are nice and kind to me and the chips aren't greasy at all. I always get a kids portion of chips and that fills me right up I would definitely recommend😍 and there really kind to my Nan who has mobility issues. Thanks from Joni age:10 andy Nan age:80

Very good food, reasonably priced. Good variety on the menu from pies and wraps to fish and chips. Chips are 10/10

Excellent fish & chips, freshly cooked and for a good price. We tried different chippies around town, but this one is definitely the best as the fish is not greasy (and we don't go over £20 for a dinner for 2!) The guy who work there is also very friendly and nice to talk to so another plus in my eyes.

I have just moved to Braintree and had sausage and chips from here yesterday. It was delicious, hot and the best chips I’ve had from any chippy!

Just ordered a few meals for my family... Big mistake... Tasteless, mushy chips.... Dry and tasteless sausage in batter... And the saveloy was disgusting... Dry and tasteless.. Would never recommend this place

Best fish and chip shop in Braintree! Cod is always delicious, fresh as are the chips. Much better than oysters fish bar, which has never satisfied me. Staff are friendly, fast and helpful. Sausages are the best I've had too. You won't regret spending your money here. :)

Great little fish bar, friendly helpful staff, freshly cooked to order, delivery also.

It is what it is, typical chippy, as others have suggested some food is well cooked and great to eat, tastes even better after a few beers in the evening, you can sit and eat there too.

We used Cyprus Fish Bar for a fundraising Quiz Night, where we had 90 people attend. Everything was perfect! Due to the large order CFB had to split up the order and deliver 3 times, however the order was spot on (even with a few special dietary requirement orders in the mix). Food was amazing, perfectly cooked and still piping hot when the last order arrived. Cannot fault CFB. We ordered a week in advance so they could cater for our large number along side their regular Saturday night custom and CFB even rang us on the Monday after the event to check in that everything was okay with the food. Brilliant customer service! They may be a small fish bar but can deliver a giant service! Cannot recommend highly enough - would give them more stars if possible.
