Paige was the best bartender and hostess we could of had, so polite and kind and absolutely amazing, we could not of asked for anyone better to tend to our night, she made our cousins wedding the absolute best it could be we will be returning, and not to mention Lauren so kind and accommodating couldn’t of asked for a better team well done guys ! Xx

Booked for my wedding. It was on a hot day in June, AC was leaking in the room where guests were situated. The manager was extremely rude to my brother who tried to ask her to manage this and kept responding with ‘nothing I can do’. Head of events promised bridal room would be completely refurbished by the time of my wedding - complete lie and nobody communicated this with me. Then proceeded to tell me that it was not part of the package and they were offering it for free since it was not refurbished (which was a complete lie and I still have this in writing, price I paid was for the refurbished room included). Told me table linen was part of my package, then told me it was not and it was a mistake. Definitely do not recommend, especially for a wedding day, purely on the basis of staff being unhelpful, dishonest and rude.

Nice and quiet place away from the town with good quality food and facilities.

We visited the facilities for the gym, a lot of the facilities feels dated but the place has passionate staff and a very good vibe. Negative points the pool seems a bit over subscribed with the booking system but it was the ack of jacuzzi and ice bath feels a bit incomplete; no natural daylight isn't inspiring Massive gym space but missing some basic things like a punch bag that is a part of my workout As tempting as the community feels I think it's more suitable for individuals into racket sports than leisure fitness

Real Tennis courts allow a rare experience to experience this sport. The coach was excellent.

Swim regularly and attended a Christmas event at the main hall. Staff helpful and friendly and facilities are great (large swimming pool, sauna, and steam room)

Prested Hall is such an amazing location for any occasion! We had the pleasure of having our wedding here and everything from start to finish was made so easy for us. They were so so responsive to all queries I had and were so effortless to deal with. The staff were absolutely outstanding especially Sunny which made everything so stress-free! They made everything go so smoothly on the day and without the help of Sunny & his staff, we could not have had it better. They were just brilliant. The grounds are as pretty as a picture with a pond, bridge, swing etc. A really picture perfect place for a wedding or that special occasion. I highly recommend. Fantastic venue for a special occasion. Had a number of family events here and never disappointed. Only reason 5 stars not given was because grounds looked a little tired e.g. pond over grown and bridge over pond closed off. Staff were wonderful and helped make it a special birthday celebration.

We were lucky enough to be at a wedding here 1st July and it was beautiful. Honestly couldn’t fault it at all. The staff were brilliant and very helpful, the venue was clean and stunning. The day was perfect and ran to clockwork. Would recommend

Visited the Spa late November and had some immediate concerns the venue was getting very tired, but thought I give them the benefit of doubt and buy £195 worth of vouchers for one of my wife's Christmas gifts. Time flew early this year, and I realised this week my vouchers expired 31/05/23 so I thought I'd call them to extend. I had trouble actually speaking to anyone, so emailed them. Had this automated response. "Thank you for your interest in Prested Hall SPA We are not currently offering spa services at Prested Hall". With obvious concerns I asked for a senior member of staff to reply and had their Director reply back to me in a very aggressive manor, basically saying my voucher was out of date and "I am sorry if this not what you would have expected but I am confident that we are in the rules of law to suggest the above." I would strongly suggest you book somewhere that actually offers customer service/cares for their customers!

Grounds are absolutely stunning. As a venue blogger and sources this was a treat. 75 acres of stunning land. Health & Wellbeing facilities. The House has so much character.

A jaw dropping wedding venue! Truly a hidden gem! The venue team are very accommodating and love giving guidance and advice in order to execute your wedding vision. The rooms are nice and clean. They have great parking, gym and spa facilities. A lovely place to get away or get married!

We haven't yet had our event. It is booked and so far the venue has gone above and beyond. I will be posting a second review after our booked event 😃

Update 29th October 2022, Prested is once again open as a venue but you can't book rooms. Paid for remaining of booked event with credit card just in case they suddenly close again, hope event goes ahead but don't trust the company. Prested Hall has gone into administration and closed doors on 28th September 2022. No information from the company but has still took everyone's deposits.

We held our wedding here last week and it was amazing. Karen and all the staff go above and beyond to make it the most special day. There was nothing we would change, every single thing was perfect. From exclusive use of the swimming pool for our wedding guests, to the way our wedding breakfast table had been laid, everything was just perfect. The food, drink, staff, spa, rooms....we cannot fault anything. Thank you Karen and all the team, you are all amazing!!!!

Lovely place but owners don't pay staff and management communication could be improved. Enjoyed working here but how management treat staff is a bit of a let down.

Had a night away here with the family. Easy to find and set in lovely grounds. As it was really quiet when we stayed ,we really enjoyed the comfy lounges. The food at dinner and breakfast was wonderful and the menu catered for a gluten free diet. Staff were friendly too.

Had a spa day booked in with my friend yesterday. And my therapist was really lovely and she gave me a great massage! ( I did ask for her name but I forgot it so sorry) but I’m sure it’s on your records who I had so please do thank her for me. The spa manager I believe she was also really nice. The pool area was nice and clean, the lockers were a complete pain sadly a few people in there were having issues with them. Salad and a welcome drink was included in the spa day which I felt was a nice touch. I’ll definitely come back.

We got married here in July 2022 and cannot fault the venue and their staff, from the initial enquiry, right through to the end. The contact has always been excellent and nothing was ever too much trouble. Considering the amount of planning that goes on for the day, Karen and the team made the day go perfectly, everything we wanted and more. The food was exceptional quality and quantity. The staff work so hard moving and setting up each area to plan and truly did an amazing job. The staff in the leisure facilities were so kind and thoughtful when we stayed in the apartments the night before and also the day after the wedding where we were able to have a private swim with the guests who stayed the wedding night, which was a lovely addition to the day. We would highly recommend the venue for anyone's wedding. Thank you Karen and the team. Matt & Becky.

We went for a cream tea. Frankly, it was massively overpriced. It cost £54 for a dozen finger sandwiches , 2 scones with clotted cream and half a dozen cakes. Most of the sandwiches were dry the scones were on the small side and the cakes tasted like they had been bought at the local supermarket. And not a good one.

Very enjoyable afternoon tea. Way to much to eat in one sitting. Loved the idea of little boxes to take leftovers home.

We had our wedding last weekend at Prested Hall and it was the most magical day. The team made the planning process so smooth and nothing was too much trouble for them. I stayed in an apartment the night before with a couple of my bridesmaids and they really looked after us. All of our guest are still talking about how beautiful the grounds are. A massive thank you to Karen and the rest of the lovely Prested team.

Fantastic wedding venue I have had the pleasure to DJ at several times. The marquee can be decorated in your own unique ways plus the indoor area which transforms in the evening ready to party. The staff make you feel welcome and friendly whilst running efficiently throughout the day.

Beautiful hotel in lovely grounds. Bed was comfy and room was large ! Biggest ensuite I have ever seen !! Fabulous dinner and breakfast too

We got married here over the Bank Holiday weekend, and the venue was absolutely amazing. To start with the venue has some nice large open grounds with a nice pond and a picturesque bridge over it. The main building has multiple rooms where our guests could break into smaller groups, allowing our older guests to have a quieter space away from the dance floor in the evening. The venue also includes 14 rooms and 6 apartments, so there was plenty of options for our guests to stay overnight. The staff here are also wonderful. We worked with Gemma, our events manager, helping us arrange our wedding from day one, making sure we hadn’t forgotten anything and helping us get everything perfect for the big day. She was brilliant, and really helped us with our planning to get the day the way we really wanted it. On the day of the wedding, the staff all helped set up everything for us, so we didn’t have to do a thing. Throughout the day they made sure we were all ok, and took very good care of us. They even took down all our decorations ready for us to check out the following morning. As for food, we purposely didn’t want any fancy food for our wedding breakfast, so we opted for simple BBQ food, and it was lovely. Our guests thought the evening food was great as well (we were too busy to actually get any), but the dessert wall was amazing! We highly recommend that. We also popped up to the venue over the course of the year, whilst planning the wedding, and had afternoon tea and a three-course meal. Even not on our wedding day the food was still amazing. Overall, the venue and the staff helped make our day unforgettable, and we highly recommend them to any other couples looking to get married there.

Great place and good value for money

Returned for our wedding Anniversary, we were married at Prested 8 years ago Staff were very attentive, even leaving a card and sweet treats in the room as an extra touch Dinner was lovely, with a complimentary cocktail thrown in. The breakfast in bed option finished off our stay superbly. Our room, room 1, was beautiful, huge comfy bed, quirky slanted floor due to the age of the building Will definitely be back, but won't leave it so long this time

Our room was a little dated. Great night's sleep in very large comfortable bed. Generally very clean throughout. The food was 10/10 and the staff really friendly.

We booked to celebrate our golden wedding Anniversary, albeit 2 years later due to Covid. The service and meal was excellent. We were able to sit for the rest of the afternoon to chat with drink served when required. Will definitely be going back. Some of our friends had not been before,they were very impressed. Thank you all for making our day extra special.

Went for a spa day * stayed overnight in hotel , beautiful old place & gardens ,stunning in summer I'm sure .

Had afternoon today with my mum and sister and it was so lovely. Both Laura and Karen were really helpful when booking and were accommodating with our dietary requirements.

Spa treatments with lunch with my wife.Return visit and again we enjoyed the whole professional experience. We will return again as always a consistantly good service received.

The staff were absolutely amazing! Always on hand to help and nothing was too much trouble for them. Also the Spa staff were equally as accommodating and professional. The hotel itself was just perfect. Loved how they’ve kept the period property so well maintained along with modern touches. The afternoon tea, evening meal and breakfast was faultless! Service was exceptional as was the food. We will definitely be returning there for regular short breaks. 10/10 from us 🥇

Came here today for lunch with a friend. Beautiful location with lovely surroundings. We were greeted with a smile and shown to our table in the restaurant. Our waiter was very attentive but not annoyingly so. Food was delicious sensible size portions very well presented. Would definitely reccomend a visit. Hall itself was nice with lots of little places you could sit with a drink and relax. Some interesting historical photos in reception. Would love to stay here if I am given the opportunity.

My daughter and granddaughter took me to this place for a surprise afternoon tea, and I wasn't disappointed . The food was consistent of hot and cold savoury rolls and the sandwiches were perfectly done as well as the cakes. The staff was so friendly and looked after us as well. Definitely recommend this place for a afternoon treat. I definitely will come back here again.

Me and my husband celebrated our wedding on new years eve 2021 at prested and we just wanted to take a moment to send our greatest thanks to the staff. Gemma our wedding coordinator was fantastic and kept our minds at ease the whole way through the planning process and from start to finish on the day it was perfect. Lovely afternoon tea while listening to a very good string quartet.

Lovely venue. We had a family afternoon tea. The food was lovely and nice mixture of classic and gentleman's tea. Staff were in and out making sure we were OK but it was done in a nice way that we didn't feel bothered by them. Venue itself was lovely, we had a side room with sofas and armchairs so it was more of a natural setting rather then tables and chairs. Didn't have a change to view the grounds or spa but what we did see was beautifully set

Myself and my husband were married at Prested Hall on 6th November and we cannot recommend Prested enough. From the moment we visited their open day back in November 2019 we knew this was the place we were going to get married. And Prested certainly did not disappoint. Gemma, our wedding coordinator, was a friendly and calming presence throughout our twilight wedding journey. From having to cut numbers and then the eventual cancellation due to lockdown. She would always respond to emails and phone calls and keep me calm. The staff were superb and so attentive to our needs. A special mention to Joe who looked after us throughout the wedding day from breakfast to the evening. The rooms were beautiful and the bridal suite added to the magic of the wedding day. The wedding buffet was amazing and the desert wall went down a treat with our guests. Thank you to everyone at Prested Hall and we most certainly will be back very soon.

After being cancelled 3 times due to Covid we finally had our spa day and it was well worth the wait. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the treatments were excellent, very relaxing and good value for money. The facilities were great, good size pool, sauna and steam room. Lunch was very tasty and there was lots of it. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Both facilities and treatments at soa second to none. Really focus in all areas of back, neck and should massage. Also had facial. Changing rooms could so with updating and showers a bit smelly.

Went to my nieces wedding here. Fabulous place. Brilliant staff, so friendly! Everywhere just lovely inside. Stayed in The Dingle room. It had the comfiest bed and was so relaxing. We would 100% stay again. Food fab! Everything we needed was catered for.

Had a lovely afternoon tea here with live classical music being played in the background. Such a wonderful atmosphere and the grounds are beautiful! They even have a swing you can go on which some children in our family loved! A perfect afternoon out with the family.

A beautiful place for afternoon tea in a very beautiful setting. The tea room was light and the tables were set a decent distant apart for those who may be concerned about distancing. The staff were very courteous, polite and had no problems checking on anything if you had questions (which teas are decaff in our instance). The afternoon tea itself was delightful, and they offered a takeaway box if you cannot manage it all... The scones smelt amazing and are served warm with a pot of clotted cream and jam. The cakes themselves looked moist and were very well presented. I will comment futher on these as they went in the takeaway box lol. The orange and mango fool was amazing; light airey and served with a slice of seared pineapple that really brought it all together. The sandwiches were well made and filled with enough filling that you didn't feel the balance was out. They were well seasoned and served on a selection of breads to cater to all tastes. All in all a lovely afternoon tea and one I shall defo wish to return to just to try the Gentleman's (savoury) option... That looked stunning from the other tables lol.

We recently arranged a Fitness Retreat at Prested Hall. It was excellent, the hotel staff was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you to Gemma for organising everything and special thanks to Fay in the gym for letting us have full use of the gym and the equipment.

Enjoyed a fantastic family birthday lunch at Prested Hall which is in such a great location. The food was served in a lovely room and the service we received throughout the day was superb from start to finish.
