The best restaurants in Bedford East of England

Wanted to write this to shoutout the lovely members of staff. I especially want to thank the girl with ginger hair and one with hair buns as they were very kind and friendly. Thank you for your good service!

Friendly staff. Food took a little while coming - bacon sandwich - was told no white bread?? So had brown. Cooked to my preference. Lovely coffee. Very comfortable surroundings and no staff to hassle you! Reasonable price especally if you have a Debenhams Card.

Very rude aggressive staff. names Tia Marlowsmith I believe. She was very threatening. absolutely disgusting

The bread in this location tastes like chlorine and it would be helpful to have a water filter to stop it, otherwise the staff is very nice with a pleasant atmosphere.

I booked a table ages ago for my boyfriends birthday as he loved it there. We turned up and it was closed! No one bothered to tell us that they were not open. I checked their business hours and looks like they are only open Fridays now. Tried to call them and it says the number is not recognised and no reply to my email either. Don’t waste your time!! Awful customer service with no communication.

Decided to meet here with a friend for a coffee and a bite to eat... Firstly we noticed the lack of choice, then the prices.. anyway my friend had the so called traditional english breakfast which was appauling one egg, one small pot of beans, one slice of bacon one sausage and one hash brown oh yes !! one slice of bread.. I had beans on toast which was cold... The staff behind the counter never even made eye contact with any customers what so ever, if fact they didnt even look as if they new what they were doing very slow service... Will never come here again.. !!!!!!!!!!

Very simple lunch menu. Sandwiches, pizza and burgers. Not much choice but the food was superb. Really tasty! Only drops a mark because it’s also very expensive!

Very poor. Didnt get my order right. Asked for no mushrooms and got some. Pork and Leek sausages were given and I'm not a fan (should say it on the menu). Black pudding wasnt cooked enough. Wasted most of it.

Really rude girl behind the bar . Thought was just me but was 6 of us and another had the same issue. Our last ever visit. Shame

Chips were hot and crispy, they didn't cheap out on the sauce for the burger and the portions are big for the price, idk how they hace 3.9 stars. They should easily have 4.4, this is definitely one of the best food places in Bedford and im not even try to glaze

ordered on uber eats, absolutely terrible service, food took about two hours with terrible communication. the driver would just hang up when we confronted about where our order was, do not recommend!!!!!

Unfortunately I experience a really bad service over the phone also the food was not great, took a long time to get delivered and even when I tried to call back I was put the phone down on me .

Chips were undercooked and cold

Giving one star in itself is even too much for this restaurant. The staff was very horrible and not accommodating at all. When asked for ketchup very stingy with the sauces even tho we ordered two large meals, with cheese melts and chicken fries. They gave us two ketchup. When asked for more they refused and when asked for sauces for the chicken fries she rudely handled the situation by refusing. When asking for the manager, the manager made us wait 5 min because he was on call and when he came to talk he just looked angry no smile or no customer service. The buns were so stale and the fries were fried from old oil. When asking for a refund they refused save to say we will never come back. I recommend you all to stay as far away from this restaurant as possible and go dine somewhere else. We decided to take the food and eat somewhere else since we didn’t want to see such horrible people
