The best restaurants in Bedford East of England

They are very tight with the toppings bought 2 large pizzas and honestly came like margaritas!! I can understand why this place has gone downhill over the years

Friendly staff. Food took a little while coming - bacon sandwich - was told no white bread?? So had brown. Cooked to my preference. Lovely coffee. Very comfortable surroundings and no staff to hassle you! Reasonable price especally if you have a Debenhams Card.

The service was lovely but we ordered three drinks and not one was correct. They had given the wrong milk and left out/added flavouring.

The bread in this location tastes like chlorine and it would be helpful to have a water filter to stop it, otherwise the staff is very nice with a pleasant atmosphere.

I booked a table ages ago for my boyfriends birthday as he loved it there. We turned up and it was closed! No one bothered to tell us that they were not open. I checked their business hours and looks like they are only open Fridays now. Tried to call them and it says the number is not recognised and no reply to my email either. Don’t waste your time!! Awful customer service with no communication.

Muy pobre. No hice bien mi pedido. No pedí setas y conseguí algunas. Se dieron salchichas de cerdo y puerro y no soy fan (debería decirlo en el menú). El pudín negro no estaba lo suficientemente cocido. Desperdiciado la mayor parte.

chicken wings freezing cold. kebab meat just thrown on (not in) the pitta. Pizzas and Chips were good though

Really rude girl behind the bar . Thought was just me but was 6 of us and another had the same issue. Our last ever visit. Shame

Went in store to order a garlic pizza bread topped with pineapple. We asked attendant if it can be made in a pan instead of the screen. He refused and claimed that it wasn’t allowed to be done. We’ve had this done previously, so not understanding the miscommunication when it comes to other employees. We then were charged £6 for regular garlic bread ordered in the store.

Postion small, salad requested only came with lettuce very disappointing this time.

Arrived at the restaurant counter and ordered fish and chips, the lady would not accept my wife's Cherry Lane Card. Apparently, my wife did not present it to the cashier in the restaurant quick enough. What? My wife ordered Fish and Chips for two at 12.15am, They arrived at the table at just gone 1.10pm. Does the kitchen close down at that time? No explanation, no nothing. Rude or what? Sat there like lemons! Over the years we have spent thousands in the garden centre (as have other people), show some respect.

I would give this no stars if I could. I ordered beef and yellow beans sauce. when I got home I was disgusted. The beef was like scrap meat, looked like it had been boiled for 2 minutes. I could chew on it forever, like rubber. The yellow bean sauce was horrible. More like just soy sauce, rich and sickly. Even the mushrooms tasted horrible and I didn't even know that could happen to mushrooms. I ended up just eating just the egg fried rice, which tasted and smelt abit off, as if it had been reheated over and over. Shocking experience, Don't not go here.

My husband called several times this evening to order. They answer the phone and the call cuts off or someone put it down. Not our usual Pizza place. Other Bedford Pizza Hut shut down. I remember one evening working at the Urgent Care on New Yeara Day. I was surprised to learn Papa John's was open. I ordered from Papa John's gluten free vegan Pizza. I collected it (Leicester Oadby). I thanked.the staff foe being open and fornthe Pizza. It then nade.me think, so we ordered from Papa Johns today. We have since been ordering Papa John's since the other Nedfkrd brnch shut. It's bigger better, excellent service. I'm amazed by the gkuten free pizza for me. My husband loves hus pizza. Papa Johns Pizza is outr new Pizza ordering place. We.prefer to collect. They SEAL the box which is excellent and safe. Thank you. My advice, if you are not getting your food in a timely manner as advised, go to Papa John's.

Delivery driver was lovely and delivered on time. Food was soggy and cold.
