Sainsbury's in Bedford

The bread in this location tastes like chlorine and it would be helpful to have a water filter to stop it, otherwise the staff is very nice with a pleasant atmosphere.

This is a regular quick reasonably priced breakfast stop. My favourite is the bite size breakfast. Egg toast sausage hash brown & beans. Yum. Hot drinks a good too. Clean tidy & friendly staff.

excellent produce, mostly what you might want. and they have a parmacy in the middle which is vey efficiant and stocks most things you could want withvery helpful staff.

Visited Sainsbury's Kempston yesterday. Milk only had 1 days date on , dated 7th when wanted to buy it on 6th. Bread on shelf was equally poor with only 1 days date ( why is it buying bread is such a chore at weekends as always out of date so quickly ?) Both me and my wife were shopping and we both used loo's and both men's loo and women's loo had DEAD flowers in stagnant water by taps and mirror. The smell was awful and if the shop was attempting to brighten up this area of the shop it was a major FAIL as it looked and smelled awful. Surely these loo's are cleaned regularly enough to notice the flowers were no longer flowers and as the shop sells them in the entrance you can not say that they did not have any to change the old ones with. Nice try poorly executed. The car park HAS been improved as the underground parking is now well lit and not dingy as it had been for many years although the ceiling by escalators as you go down to car park seemed to be leaking as it was very wet with lots of puddles as you got off the escalator and it was not raining yesterday ? c+ Must try harder ..

Sainsbury's has a superior place in the shopping industry. However, I believe that this Sainsbury's may be failing with this. With its poor customer service and long waiting time. For a bagel you have to wait a whopping 25 minutes! During our wait for the till a lady behind simply asked can you open more tills? She rudely replied that she was asking people to. When she returned the lady then asked could you go on the till and she said "no I can't I have to do this". Very bad service and rude behaviour for someone of a management position.

Always friendly service, breakfast variations are tasty, hot and variations from the set menu (like extra egg instead of sausage) possible. Usually nice and clean but can get busy. Great value for money.

Local shopping supermarket and also a great place to grab a quick breakfast or lunch/dinner pre shopping.

Today my husband and I we been in Kempston for our business. We left our car and we went to Sainsbury's to do shopping. We also spent some time in the Cafe. Donuts with jam and cappuccino was great especially after long time out in cold and windy weather.

My husband and my daughter and I popped into Sainsbury cafe ..we ordered 3 cups of tea Well it was like dishwater Disgusting. .....ordered 2 big breakfasts and 1 veggie....waited 25 mins 2 came out and the girl said I,ll get the other one....she came back out to the table behind us with 2 breakfasts for 2 other customers that came in behind us so we waited another few minutes Still no 3rd breakfast so I went to the counter and asked where our 3rd breakfast was the lady said she,d go find out I heard her call in the kitchen where's the other breakfast for the big order????Blimey there was only 3 of us.The girl eventually brought it out.Now I'm sorry but if it takes 25 minutes to cook a breakfast you would think there would be colour in the sausage.no colour in the toast either...Awful Breakfast all round Will Not be returning! !!!!!! No wonder they don't come and ask at the table to see if every is ok because it would all go back.........

I waited to be served and several staff just walked past me into or out of the kitchen without saying a word. When I was finally served the person then had to go back into the kitchen to get milk. She also seemed unsure of prices for a cake and coffee deal on display. Poor for such a simple thing as wanted coffee and a piece of cake.

Visited early one Saturday morning. Friendly staff. Food came out fairly quick. Portions were decent for the price. Overall a good experience

What a pile of excrement.. Ordered food and had a coffee. Drank that and ordered another. Drank that. Good came out hot as hell but frozen on inside , chips were like shards of asbestos ! FFS...!!!! Sainsbury's , start selling toilets please so we can flush this down them b4 we try and eat it.

This was not a positive experience and everything seemed too much trouble - forgotten order cold chips and eggs with shell In just about sums it up !! Ok for a quick tea stop but nothing else

Good store centrally placed and good for pushchairs/disabled as have lifts from car park as well as travelator. Helpful staff and a cafe and chemist so all you need in one place!

I went to the Sainsburys in Kempston cafe. Ordered a Big Breakfast and Latte. Wow food was brilliant. The service is also tremendous too so thank you to the lady that served me. I would definitely recommend to go. I have seen there is a few negative review but sorry to say I think the service and food was fantastic. See for yourself I have attached some photos. Not bad for £6.25, keep up the good work.

Popped in for ham, egg and chips and a cup of tea.

Tired cafeteria which is not very welcoming. Staff are disinterested. Coffee was bordering on being bitter. Only nice thing was a 'Belgian Bun' which was rather nice

I have just called in at this cafe for a quick coffee and a slice of carrot cake before doing a food shop, It took the man behind the servery counter a long time to serve me even though there was hardly any customers. I ordered a double shot Latte and a slice of carrot cake. This sort of cake should be soft and moist. This slice was dry and hard so after a mouthful I left it. Then I started to drink the coffee. I looked at the side of the mug and there was the remains of dark red lipstick on the cup left by a previous customer. I felt nauseous and left

My first eating visit to this lovely big store was somewhat of a major disappointment.
