Really should have read the recent reviews. Essentially, food was over half hour late, cold and undercooked. Store was unreachable. Seems to be the common theme over recent months... I got into contact with customer services looking for some help as to when my order would be delivered and their best response was "no refund"... I didn't ask for a refund. I asked for communication since the phone kept ringing out (the 7 times I tried it). Overall, rude store, rude CS.

Ordered many times via the app, and never had a problem. Food is always hot and fresh. The new handcrafted crust pizzas are really something else!!

I ordered 2 pizza's and one drink and it said it would come at 7:39 to 7:49. I got a email saying my order has been confirmed and i clicked track my order. I didn't get my order for that time so i decided to call and i called about 7 times and they never answered. I was thinking of going to the place but i noticed that then it finally said they are packing my order. It could have been a problem with the website but they could have atleast answered the phone.

Awful! Pizzas and sides were cold the ice cream was warm and melting warmest part of the whole meal. All the food went in the bin once it finally arrived 40 minutes after the expected time. No reply when calling the restaurant customer service offered me ‘slices’ so that I could order again and claim a free item not good enough full refunds should be given. Will never use again.

No one answering the phone, I called more than 10 times.

Been ordering from this site for years and can honestly tell you i wont be bothering again. In the last year the place has gone down hill. Food late, undercooked and zero customer service! Call the number endlessly to never be answered. Food comes either over cooked or under cooked its rediculous. Wouldnt even be leaving the bad review if they would simply PICK UP THE PHONE!

I ordered large pizza and fries. I got the pizza. But, they sent me wedges instead. Which I hate! I called to complain and get a refund. They said they called me but I didn't answer. They didn't call me from the shop they called from a random mobile number. He said he can't give me a refund. At that point I cut the call. Leaving negative feedback for them is all I can do and warn people about them.

Ordered my food on Uber eats at 7:30 my driver was changed 4 times due to the restaurant giving my food to the wrong person tried calling them 4 times no one answered at 20:30 got a call from America to say my order was gonna be cancelled and if I wanted my food I needed to put the order in again so never got my food

The food was the worst I've had. The rest was late. The tracking didn't work and the store don't answer the phone. I wish I'd read the Google reviews before ordering. It the worst pizza and takeaway I've ever had. If I could review with zero stars I would. Steer well clear no matter how hungry you are. Save your money.

Pizza havnt arrived!!!but charged!!! Nobody pick the phone!!!

Firstly I ordered pizza for later delivery, between 4.15 and 4.30pm. I called at 4.40 after 4 attempts a Indian chap picked up. He said they only have one driver and pizzas are going to be collected by the driver in 1 minute. 15 mins later I called back because they still didn't deliver the pizzas. He then said Ill cancel the delivery and if I was to call back the next day after 4pm and I speak to the manager he will try to refund your money, I agreed. 5 mins after the delivery guy came and dropped off the pizzas. I personally would have sent them back but I wasn't there at the time and my wife took the orders. She complained to the driver but he wasn't apologetic. She went to open the pizzas and they. Looked DISGUSTING. GREASY, UNDERCOOKED AND WARM! Even the halloumi sticks tasted stale. Later my wife got a call from the and some other guy gave her the customer complaints email so she could complain. This is the most horrible experience I have ever had the displeasure of ANY pizza company let alone Pizza But. I mean we ended up throwing away the disgusting pizzas in the end. I would like to be reimbursed fully and I definitely will never be getting any pizzas from London Road, Bedford ever again. Absolute charlatans.

Ordered a simple cheese and tomato pizza, picked it up, got home, started eating the pizza to find bits of meat, mushrooms and a juicy hair in the pizza, called the store who begged me not to report it (after hanging up on me) but wouldn’t send out a fresh pizza. Told me to contact their customer care for a refund. I contacted customer care and all they offered was some slices on a Pizza Hut account which I refused but they now deem the matter closed. Seriously if you want Pizza Hut avoid this location! Better idea, get a domino’s

Incapable of answering their phone so if you have any issues (which is likely) they will not answer. I have sat calling for 15+ minutes and no answer. Food arrives cold and the wrong order. AVOID ORDERING

Possibly the worst food delivery company out there, don't ans my calls because my food is 40 min late from stated time. Mid week order so not very busy.

Don't go they close everything 10mis early and shut everything down for a late worker this is no good. I never used to have a problem, but recently, they have got worse

This location is specifically for collection or delivery only, however that shouldn’t mean inferior service or quality. Unfortunately their service isn’t great, I felt like the staff member taking my order was annoyed that he had to do his job. The pizzas were cooked in good time and were hot, whilst there was nothing wrong with them, the taste and quality doesn’t seem as good as an eat-in restaurant. They didn’t include any sauces and for the price paid, we could have eaten out for a similar cost. So it’s not bad, but it’s not good either.

The quality of the pizzas are ok. But not to the standard they used to be. The sizes of the sides have all shrunk even though the prices have increased. Delivery charges are now the new norm.

Takeaway from this Pizza Hut was tasteless, soggy and undercooked. Just to the add to the banter, it arrived folded in half.

Just rang up to place an order that is collection only deal and ordered over the phone as usual,today I’m told only online orders as we’re busy making pizzas and then hung up! Rude stuff and in todays times turning down £15!!!!

Wouldn't answer phone so we went there and the pizza was cold and awful tasting. They said they was too busy to answer the phone but they was talking to each other when we got there.

Wish I had read the reviews beforehand as it was the worst pizza and sides I ever had and it ended up in the bin.

It's not a place to dine in, but for £9 for their largest pizza, the deep pan being crunchy outside and soft inside, the thin pizza's crust being covered with garlic powder and herbs, there's really nothing to complain about. Would definitely recommend

Pizza 🍕 isn't that great. Dough is soggy. No parking available and you have to wait 30 minutes in the cold and then have no chairs inside

LONDON ROAD, BEDFORD PIZZA HUT - AVOID - Their DELIVERY DRIVERS are EXTREMELY RUDE whereby they throw a STROP for having to wait 10 seconds while you come to the door and then YANK the food at you - the driver today was the worst I have come across. On other occasions they are VERY LATE and walk around looking for a simple address off a main road until your food gets COLD. Overall AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE because they cannot be bothered to answer the phone and when they do they have a STINKY ATTITUDE YOU CAN SMELL ALL THE WAY FROM LONDON ROAD TO YOUR DOORSTEP. Unfortunately there is no option for zero stars although I would give them minus 10 if I could. This branch is completely ruining the brand. Absolute jokers!

Prompt delivery and good service, but the food was barely even average. Their pizza is on par with what you get in a kebab house. Both Dominos and Papa Johns are much better. Avoid.

Fantastic staff and food but the lighting In the lobby needs sorting out, I cannot bring my daughter in there as the flashing of the broken lights is a danger to her photosensitive epilepsy

Ordered pizza. Usually good and deliver within time but today I used the points to get pizza and ordered side, with Pepsi. First the order took one hour. When called the Manager he wasn’t helpful and said it will be there. Paid extra for normal Pepsi but they delivered Tango when I called back they said will call driver and hung up. Redialled many times no response. And no refund offered

Worst pizza ever. It feels and tastes like it's been cooked left out for over an hour and then re heated. Woukd never eat from this pizza hut again.

Slow delivery and recently the delivery guys refuse to enter our building and deliver to our flat door. Orders have never arrived hot and warm is about as good as can be expected. Food also tends to leave us with an upset stomach for a few days but this isn’t always the case (hit and miss). Very quickly running out of decent pizza delivery places in Bedford.

Waited over an hour and a half for pizzas to never turn up, rang up to find out where the pizzas were and was told that my information has been lost and they couldn't get in touch. They also told us they had gluten free pizzas but didn't even though the employee asked a manager if they did. Manager couldn't care less about me as a customer and gave utterly disgusting service. Will never visit again.

Save yourself the bother. Always late. Pizzas are soggy. Staff are underpaid and sound miserable. The tracker says it’s delivered when it’s not. Waited over an hour and half then cancelled now have to wait 5 days for customer services to contact me so I can try get a refund. Not happy, ordered food for a set time and it was late. We work with appointments so this is not ideal. Called restaurant first time they hung up on me, second time the man was rude and said it would be 3 minutes. Another 15 pass I call again and they don't answer.

I think they sprinkle garlic powder dust on every pizza. And it taste like store pizza, not pizza hut.

Pizza is great they probably cook it better than the Aspects Pizza Hut however the people running it are just complete jokers to be perfectly honest. One day they will deliver next day they won’t, guy on the phone actually said he would have to ask if the driver would deliver to me and we are under 3 miles away……… On another occasion they wouldn’t deliver at all and when I questioned why this time they informed me that my address was banned because we had ordered pizza before and didn’t pay/take delivery????? What???? To this day we still do not know what they are talking about and have told them this but they still claim they can’t deliver because of this totally untrue claim. How would one even get Pizza without paying it’s just very odd accusation to make to get out of delivering we believe and often laugh about it. They need to act more professionally, and take a leaf out of Dominoes & Papa John’s book if they don’t want to lose a lot of customers and money.

Normally I am a very happy customer, London Road has supplied many a crispy crust and a perfectly cooked chicken wing. However this evening the dough tasted like lettuce and I recieved mushrooms hidden in my pizza...let's not let standards drop! What about the the vegetarian pizzas...are they contaminated too?

Store manager very rude I received my order 2 hours late and was missing ice cream cold pizza I rang up The store manager was laughing at me on the phone the driver refused to bring my food to the door I am disabled 1st floor flat all Asian workers with Pizza Hut brand never again!!!!

Whatever you do don't order online with uber or just eat with this disgusting company,they take your money for your food and send 1 of the app delivery drivers with the wrong order for their profits and when you call them as they have your order completly wrong they blame the uber driver when they have deliberately sent you less food so they can profit more and blame uber absolutely terrible customer service not willing to help and I have used this company for the last 10 years and they treat you like this Never be using this company again !!!

The food turned up 10 minutes late. When it did arrive, we noticed that the Magnum Ice Cream that was supposed to be part of the offer was missing. The driver apologized and said he'd bring the 2 tubs back within 15mins. The main issue was that the price for the order was £26.66 (cash) but on the receipt the driver had, it was £30.78. He couldn't accept £26.66 so we called the shop. In the meantime, my mum, Nan and Aunt took the pizzas and began eating while I was dealing with the situation. The driver was calling his supervisor's phone and I was called the shopline. It took a while of ringing before the call was answered. The lady who answered explained that they couldn't accept the £26.66 and that I would have to pay the £30.78 that was on their receipt and then take it up with Just Eat. I disagreed and said I'd rather not take the food if I have to spend my time requesting a refund. She then handed the phone to her Shift Manager. He repeated what she said and once again I respectfully disagreed with his suggestion. He said that, had I ordered over the phone with them, they would've taken full responsibility with the order but because this was done via Just Eat, they were just a third party and any transactional issues would have to be taken up with Just Eat. I disagreed and argued that since I made the order via Just Eat and have shown the driver proof of transaction I should only pay the £26.66 and it would be an issue on Pizza Hut's part to retrieve the difference in funds. I also pointed out that I didn't like their response and if they were adamant about getting £30.78, I would rather give the order back and make an order with another company. I couldn't understand why it became my problem to deal with when I had shown the driver the email. Shift Manager then told me to give the driver the food back and that my address was blacklisted from making anymore orders and then he hung up. Throughout the conversation, I felt he was rude and tone was aggressive. I kept the phone conversation on speaker mode so the driver could also hear the conversation. When he hung up, I asked the driver if I was out of order or aggressive as I don't believe I was aggressive or raised my voice. He just looked gobsmacked. I gave the driver the food back but by now my family had eaten a few slices from both pizzas. I flagged this up with the driver who looked worried with the situation and didn't want to leave without getting confirmation that this was okay, so we began phoning again. He tried to call his superior's mobile - no answer. I finally got through to the shop and the lady told me that the shift manager wanted all the food regardless of whether some slices were missing or not. I then passed on the phone to the driver to confirm with the lady. I then apologized to the driver about the situation. All of this took half an hour of our lives. What was supposed to a nice chilled out evening turned into a bit of a nightmare. My 84 year old Nan wanted pizza tonight so my mum wanted to treat everyone. That was all ruined tonight by the shift manager and his rude and aggressive behavior. I would like to point out that I have nothing against the driver or receptionist as they acted professionally and calm. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for their manager who not only let his team down but also the Pizza Hut brand.

Ordered pizza for myself and pregnant wife. Delivery driver refused to come up to 2nd floor flat to finish delivery. After having to get out of the bath (after a 15 hour shift), the delivery guy hands me a beaten up pizza box, which when opened indicated he deliberately punched. I called the delivery store, the guy wasn't rude but made it clear all he would do was make another pizza. The fact that you pay 10x the price of an in store pizza is for it to be delivered to your door. Don't waste your time, this isn't the first time, but its the last for me.

Ordered a large pizza with cheesy bites... All the cheese had oozed as they'd blasted it too long. You get 4 free dips... dips were disgusting, try the BBQ... Tastes like vinegar! As the dips are built into the box... It reduces the size of the pizza... Was more like a medium... Also bought a cookie... Costs £4.70. Absolute rip off!! Never again!.....

Slow delivery (double as promised) missing part of the order, the food wasn't hot. When I called them no apology at all. Highly not recommended. I'm expecting better customer service and food service from this food chain, especially the prices much higher than in other pizzerias.

Best Pizza Hut I’ve ever been to the manager is so friendly always says hello and is so friendly all staff are extremely polite and do there up most best to delivery the best food possible always smiling and I have never had an issue with this Pizza Hut would recommend this place over anywhere so much better then dominos adnan the manager and motiur manager.

If i could give no stars i would. Absolutely appalling service. Bought a veggie sizzler and noticed chicken pieces in it, after calling them and complaining that their was chicken in a vegetarian pizza the manager told me that "when in a rush we sometimes use the meat cutter on any pizza and the chicken must have transferred across". Just what you want to hear.

Bought two pizzas last night and they were without doubt the worst pizzas I have ever eaten. Both pizzas were saturated with grease. Neither pizza was finished as a result. Will never order from here again and definitely would not recommend. Shame as I needed a replacement since Marchello’s has moved away from the area.

Poor customer service _ passing the buck to other pizza hut franchises. I guess the online order processing introduced a more secure payment step by texting a pin to the mobile phone to confirm payment but that resulted in numerous payment 500 errors and even asked me to call natwest fraud line. Which I did and they said there is nothing wrong no block no flag on my card. Payment should go through. I tried again with natwest on the phone waiting, this time got error 500. As a last attempt, I deleted my google cache and went back into pizza hut website. My order was still sitting in the basket. So I went ahead to process the payment, it texted a pin to my mobile and payment was successful. One hour and 20 mins later no pizza. Checked my email for the restaurant phone number as they usually send confirmation of order. No email. So called the london rd restaurant and explained what happened. So the girl informs me there no order for me on their system. Because I have ordered from online and they delivered the previous week she was able to find me by name and post code as she said my house number before I gave it to her. So I asked who do I contact to get a refund. You would expect this simple question to be answered in a professional manner if she does not know then find out. But this is the response I get: Sorry I cannot give you the phone number as we are a franchise but there is another pizza hut in astute leisure centre the order could have gone to them. I asked if pizza hut have a head office that normally handles refund she said no. Last year another pizza hut in Cambridge took 3 hrs to deliver a pizza and they gave a number to call to get refund and I assumed that might be the case. But do not know if this applies to all restaurants. She said go to the website and have look..... what kind of answer is that? I called Pizza hut in astute centre and they DO NOT DELIVER. I called my bank, payment was approved and can not be reversed. I called pizza hut london rd again and asked the same question and she says I am sorry it is no point asking me these questions I don't have an answer. I asked there must be someone who handles their bank account who can check my payment and issue refund that is all I want to know. Another guy takes the phone and starts saying the order is not on the system there is nothing they can do. It is like pulling a teeth out to get the answer to my one question. Then I had to stop him and said all I want to know is how to GET A REFUND!!!!!!!! He then says go on to pizza hut website and contact customer service as they handle online payments and refunds. Hallelujah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! finally an answer. So far no apology as a pizza hut team for the issue that caused me so much trouble. Now I called customer service and it seems I will to wait up to 2 weeks to see my refund. Great!!!

Pizzas taste nothing like what you get in the restaurants. I guess it is mass produced for speed as it is a takeaway. Delivery is available. As a delivery driver of other takeaway restaurants, please tip your delivery driver. They do not make much money. A little goes a long way.

Probably the worst place to order from in Bedford. My order was 30 mins late, driver had the cheek to say it's my fault and stormed off with the pizza. The guy who takes the orders kept lying about the time. Sincerely would say stay clear away from this place.

Ordered online, system advised it was busy so should expect a delay. Pizzas arrived 30 minutes later than the 55 minutes advised and were both cold, dough was nearly rigid. I called the store and informed them, they sent out 2 new pizzas. They arrived hot and tasted ok.

This review is aimed directly at the Pizza Hut delivery store on London Road, Bedford, as all the other pizza huts we have used have been great, but not this one. Avoid these jokers at all cost these lot are the essence of bad service, rude late and make up lies. I live 2miles away and they have delivered to me several times then randomly they stopped, said it’s up to the driver if he wants to deliver as they are sub contracted.....Ok then. Then today’s excuse is apparently they have blocked us for delivery because we refused a large order????? Complete lie and il be taking this further with Pizza Hut head office myself. I believe this is all because the driver was very late on the last delivery to us, about a year back, and I had to even walk up the road to help him find my not very difficult address to find! After he finally found me he was all flustered and started justifying his stupidness so I said to him no I drive all over the place in my line of work, I think your just being a bit dim and he got in a right hump naturally No I’m not etc etc etc, ok mate just give me our cold food end of story I thought after I paid the full total. Big number on front of my house semi detached in a built up area and since then no pizza, so basically they’re punishing us for there drivers previous mistake. I wasn’t rude and I didn’t shout in anyway either. Laughable don’t know who’s the manager there but I will be emailing head office about this tomorrow as I’m not having you make up lies about my family. So angry about this, Doninos it is from now on out of principle.

Waited two hours for delivery, rang to find out what had happened but the phone just kept ringing, eventually we got through and told them we’d come and pick it up as we had to very hungry children waiting. When my partner arrived, he was told the delivery had left 5 mins before. There were numerous members of staff there so I’m not sure why they were ignoring the phone for so long! My partner arrived home around the same time as the delivery. They refused to refund the order saying we’d have to go through customer services as we’d booked online... we will never order from here again!!

I have ordered two medium size pizzas on a deal medium pizza for £5 without any sauce as allergic to tomatos. I have been called back to inform me that they are not able to make any changes for pizzas on a deal, so this time they can create pizzas without any sauce, but I should note that it won't be possible in the future. Pizzas were delivered with tomato sauce, I paid cash before I have realised. I called the shop immediatelly, I have been told that they cannot swap them for correct pizzas, they cannot collect the incorrect order and give me my money back, they cannot deliver one large pizza and collect the incorrect ones. Basically, not able to do anything and in the end told me to call the customer service even when I said that I would pay the difference between the previous order and the pizza without sauce if they come to collect the kncorrect order and deliver something I could actually eat. Customer service promised to process the refund in 3-6 working days, so I have no money and nothing to eat. Thank you for the exoerience, I have ordered with you many times before but it was the last time today.
