Favorita Gourmet Kitchen in Bedford

3 different days tried to order food, and the restaurant never accepted took about 30 mins till I was told that they cancelled my order!!!

Very nice food and friendly staff

Poor service, went wrong address twice, wrong drink, freezing food by time they arrived. Rude driver barley spoke English, refused to refund it. Won't use again and advise others the same. Will broadcast this as I'm an influencer on TikTok to thousands of people.

Horrible stuff I ordered 3 wings for £1.50 thought it was a good deal got them chicken was not hot at all kitchen was a mess chicken was tough and disgusting last thing I would choose anywhere don't go here

ordered food, told food would be 50 mins... Two hours later, no food. Called to enquire was told "I do not understand you" Such a shame as the food from here is great.

We have ordered bunch of food to try this take away and I did regret this straight away. We have ordered peri peri chicken strips lemon and herb and it was disgusting. No flavour at all just chicken. My cheese chips were not even cook as I expected Crispy fresh chips… my niece have ordered chicken dippers again no taste… just chicken with breadcrumbs. it such a shame! Garlic sauce taste as it was diluted with water. If you think to order from this place please double think as you will regret is immediately. If I could go back in time I would definitely cancel my order.

0. Dont eat here. Wings are boiled, no taste, smells awful. Only thing i had in the whole meal was a can of diet coke. It is disgusting

Waited an hour and a half for my order, called up after an hour and they said it was on the way then had to wait a further half an hour. Then when the food arrived it was barely warm, called up and got toll of I want a refund I have to give the food back to them even after I had handled it, so just ate it anyway as they gave no other alternative. Definitely wouldn't recommend

Horrible and disgusting customer service. I placed an order at this restaurant via the deliveroo app at 15:15 and the app showed a delivery time of 16:05.I left for school run and was back home at 15:50.In case the driver arrives early I wrote in the instuctions to driver: leave parcel at the door. However I was back before delivery time but no food till 16:20 so I called the restaurant for an update.The driver answered the phone was extremely rude.He said he came and rang my bell multiple times and called on my mobile as well.I have no missed calls.He went ahead to say I am lying about the timings and being cheeky.Also that I should accept that the whole fiasco was my fault and I should accept it.He repeated that I am a liar 2-3 times.Absolutely disgusting behaviour and appalling customer service . Another member of staff spoke to me and apologised and said my order will come to me in 10mins.To my surprise it was the sane driver who was rude on the phone and he had the audacity to say I must accept my fault standing at the door.I wanted to mention his name here but the restaurant did not give me his name.And to add to all this,when I opened the food packet,my order was incomplete.I ordered 3 burgers as a meal and no drinks were delivered.Not just extremely rude but incompetent too. I have given one star because there is no option of giving 0.

Where do I start… I ordered 2 pieces of chicken, 3 hot wings. Lamb Doner and chips and a 6oz slam dunk burger. This came to £17.30 including the £2 delivery charge!! The chicken was literally burnt to death. No moisture left in the meat. Not succulent at all. The breading hurts the roof of your mouth when you chew it. Very poor fried chicken. The Burger was the star of the show and the only item I was fully satisfied with. Although I ordered a Slam Dunk burger which is meant to include onion rings. There was no onion rings in my burger! The chips were over cooked and hard! Again cutting my mouth when I ate them. The doner meat was over cooked and hard aswell! Everything I ordered was over cooked and nearly inedible. The burger was the only saving grace. It’s a-shame because the people who run this place seem like nice friendly people but I feel they need to drastically improve their cooking skills. I don’t know if these people are so afraid of undercooking chicken that they burn it to death to kill all the bacteria while simultaneously destroying the texture and the flavour. Would order a burger again but that’s it. Everything else including the £2 delivery charge was pretty woeful.

Had the hot wings and the burger meals and it's decent! tasty, fast and nice service!

I thought chicken tenders were like KFC but obviously not, just grilled chicken kebab, not horrible but not what I was expecting. The pizza was swimming in grease unfortunately. Not going here again.

We did order food from them today and this was honestly the worst experience in our lives!!!!! All went into the bin🤮

I have tried food from Favourita Gourmet Kitchen before once in the past ,which I wasnt really happy with back then.I decided to order from them tonight and give them a 2nd chance after reading the reviews. Food was delivered on time.I ordered a pizza for my children which they did not hardly touch,it was full of so much cheese,I also ordered a peri peri burger meal and 5 wings which my son says was ok apart from the chips. I ordered a zinger burger meal for myself and I have to say I am far from impressed. Upon opening the burger the lettuce was definantly not fresh,it was half black (I have pics) & the other half of the lettuce was going off.The actual burger itself did not taste very nice ,I cut it open and bit into the middle to find it was not cooked properly.The chips were not fresh either ,I had to throw my meal away and all the chips that I ordered for all the family.I will not be ordering again...To say I am not impressed is an understatement

We all ordered the LA burger and also got a sharing platter which had mushrooms, onion rings, mozzarella sticks and spring rolls. We really enjoyed our meal. I saw all the bad reviews, but to be honest we did not have this experience. Our food was really good.

I ordered some food and ice cream Ben and Jerry’s the ice cream came with sticky residue appeared to be yellow and also had what looked like mould on the lid when speaking to the restaurant I heard others laughing in the back round as the phone was passed around they told me to apply for a refund though just eat never got the refund so enjoy your 1 star review poor quality.

Ordered food via food hub menu looks pretty decent with good prices helps using a code also. Delivery was on the longer side however have to consider it was on a Saturday night and big respect giving a free item which made up the long wait.the food I got was cheesy chips very good hard to go wrong chicken in lemon and herb source chicken was cooked bang on and chicken wings which was the free item decent spice so overall very happy customer just need to work on your delivery system

Ordered margerita pizza, chicken filler burger and chips on deliveroo. For starters the burger was awful it tated like fish I couldnt even eat 1/4 of it. The pizza was mostly cheese which was horrible barely managed half. The chips were really hard and crunchy I didn't mind them too much but could.of been way better. Very disappointed

Food over cooked, inedible and used Uber eats. I made a complaint but was told it’s nothing to do with them regarding temperature. Did bin the inedible food. Terrible service.

Food was never great but acceptable,now after they refurbished inside all the deals are gone don't know why? And they put their price up 6 chicken wings and chips plus drink was around 3.50-4.00 pounds now it's almost 5 and no drink, oversalted ,meat was dry sorry guys but that was last time I used your service.Sad.

Order through just eat at 12.30am- rang at 1am to cancel as realised was estimated for 2am! Told order was already cooked and ready to leave and should be with us in 30 minutes! 2.25am it arrives! Cold and manky! Absolutely gross!

My pizzas were amazing stone baked! best I've had for ages, reviews about bad pizza must be old because they are delicious 10/10

For reasons unknown to me, they chopped the crust off my pizza all the way around.

pizzas ordered ... came 10 minutes late, arrived stone cold .. and that is about as close to traditional stone baked pizza it got .. the base had no sauce and no cheese.. literally came with just the toppings ... £20 for 2 pizzas that went straight in the bin !!

We are quite far away. And the food still turns up nice and hot. Best pizza and burgers in Bedford

Don’t waste your time & money..

The fish was extremely chewy chips wasnt even warm and nonmeat in the fish fillet not recommended to go to or my family very disappointed

Delivered 15 minutes later then stated and chips was soggy, but the worst samosas ever could not eat any they was dripping in grease and black inside and burnt like the middle had fallen out in the fryer. Although offered a refund no details was taken so I'll wait and see for that.

It does take an hour for delivery. Food was average, we ate it after we heated it up in the oven. Milkshake and onion rings were good. The rest not so much.

The staff are ever so friendly but the food in particular the grilled peri peri chicken with extra fresh garlic is to die for. We lack decent fast food places in Bedford but Favorita are bucking the trend. Keep it up!

Disgusting and highly ashamed to what I got today

I ordered from favourite gourmet kitchen in Bedford from just eat. The order was originally supposed to arrive within 45-60 minutes. At the 60 minute mark I received a phone call from a woman who didn't seem to understand what she should be telling me. She said she'd forgotten to.give the delivery driver our order. I said ok, how long will it take? 30 minutes she replied. An hour later it arrived. When the food turned up it was cold, congealed and soggy. We also received an incredibly spicy burger, which I didn't order. My son was in tears. My partner even said it was too hot for him ( he loves spicy). We'd spent almost £50 on food. When I asked for a refund the delivery driver offered us £5, which I said wasn't good enough. Then I received a text message saying that they will give us nothing as they'd given us extra food. It must of been invisible as I couldn't see it. After another hour I finally managed to talk to someone on the just eat live chat ( which took another hour) they would only refund the food. Not our drinks. What a joke. To top it all off the restaurant won't close the order so I can't review them on just eat.

The food at this restaurant is apsolutely horrible, and they take an hour and a half to deliver your order, whether big or small.

Nice food for the kind of restaurant. Even the special offers are worth it. The wrap of the day is nice, but only has a chicken strip inside. A lot of staff, but not specially quick. Kitchen too smokey, probable would need to check the extractor. Would come back.

By far the worst takeaway , chicken wrap was off!!!! Could smell it from a mile , cook must have no sense of smell. Their pizzas are like the £1 Tesco pizzas. Delivery driver forgot to give the pizza and had to come back which took another half hour 😩 waste of every penny.

Fast and friendly service and the gourmet burger is amazing plus the fries have the skins on make it the perfect meal!

The worst food ever. Food was cold, chips overcooked , soft and gooey. Seriously undercooked with a consistency’s of a shoe sole burger. Ice cream milkshake was not even remotely close wot an ice cream. Disgusting. Chucked everything. It was uneatable. Waste of money. Will never order again!!!

The burgers are so nice I had to go back three times in a row to eat them I'm rating the burger place five star and the pizzas are also great

The pizza was the worst I have ever had. It was all processed and fake. The bacon wasn't bacon, it was coloured purple and white but it had no fat on it. It was more consistent to turkey. This pizza was so bad even the chips were soggy. I had a pickle that tasted like it was stored in tap water! Avoid!

Visited this morning for the first time.Had a delicious custard Croissant and Cappacino Coffee.Could not believe the cost so reasonable had to ask twice.Would certainly Recommend and will be visiting again.

Food is good and fresh as well.

After a very long and painful day of delayed trains, our connecting coach to Cambridge was nowhere to be found. Our only sign of hope was food. I noticed Favorita, which was completely now to me. The staff made the fastest, best looking and delicious pepperoni pizza for us and upgraded the size as they could see I'd had a crappy day. Guys that pizza was fantastic, thank you!
