McDonald's in Bedford

Probably the the most run down McDonald's I ever had the misfortune to go into ( Bedford )

Ordered on the McDonalds website. Got an order delivered from Greggs. They took no responsibility, really didn’t care. Just gave me a number to call and made me pay for my order again (which they nearly got wrong again) after all that, food was freezing cold.

Staff ignored me standing at the tull for 10 minutes, while chatting away in their own language. When I got my order taken and eventually got my food, the burger was luke warm, and chips cold and chewy. Absolutely awful, you don't expect much from macdonalds, but even for normal, this was bad

Friendly staff and fast service

AVOID it's ridiculous that items are missing from orders that arrive from uber delivery in sealed bags. Meaning THEY DO NOT CHECK ORDERS BEFORE SENDING THEM. Meaning if you have family / kids looking forward eating DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE EVER. Or if you want to play a game of what's missing this time go ahead. . . . Almost none of my orders seem to arrive complete, either drinks sauces or meals can just simply fail to turn up. I guess a member of staff got free food on me again.

Took 20 minutes just to get a drink

Got wrong order at delivery to my door and I have called many times to no answer

Maybe I chose the wrong time to visit. Ordering machine had an option for table service but none of the signs available so had to select collect. Printer wasn't working so had no number for my order. Upstairs was closed so couldn't use the toilet. When we got the food there were no tables available other than one with a load of waste dumped on it which has to be cleaned. Food was a bit cool but despite that the Smokestack burger was rather good and love the option to remove ice from drink orders.

They didn't give me respectful service

Unorganized staff. Waited too long for food. When it eventually is ready for collection burger and fries cold. Spent five years in America and visited various McDonald's in four different states. Not once did I have to wait as long as I do over here and the food was always hot

Got a double breakfast muffin this morning this is the quality it came in packet this morning pics below. Someone this getting beyond a joke looks like a rats been at it

Nice little McDonald's just away from the centre of town.

I'm not a lover of Maccy Ds,i was there because it was my great granddaughter's birthday. I was impressed with the service in this branch.

Ordered 3 chicken select meals and a burger, received only one set of selects with all 3 fries and no burger. Has happened multiple times with items missing

A standard McDonald's but a big shout out to Deepak! A welcoming smile as I came in and after ordering and waiting at the pick up line, he offers to bring my food over to me. I tend to collect from the counter but it was a very kind gesture from someone who obviously takes customer care seriously

The chicken nuggets are literally deep fried erasers. The workers will ALWAYS mess up at least 1 item in your order. Awful place, wouldn’t recommend to anyone looking for a quick meal.

It's McDonalds, and it's done great. I can confirm that this branch, in particular, is good at putting together a McMuffin without it going skewiff or leaning to one side! The sugar for the tea and coffee is on the other side of the counter, so just ask one of the staff. It's also a popular branch for JustEat and Deliveroo pick-ups.

This is a very ugly McDonald's that is ruining Britain's status. I placed a burger and had it delivered, but they just told me to inquire on Internet;; It's not an online store Does the internet make burgers? I absolutely hate them. They ruined my day.

Food is fine. No complaints. Restaurant is a bit dirty and the Just Eat collection section has clearly been quickly put up and looks terrible in the middle of the shop. Upstairs at the weekend and around 4pm is not somewhere you want to be. Overridden by loud teenagers brazenly vaping and drinking alcohol INSIDE A MACDONALDS! unbelievable, they should be banned. Generally average food quality and no problems when its quiet.

Everytime missing items and delayed delivery. When asking to mcdonald's they are blaming uber eats and the uber eats blaming mcdonald's

They got very confused by my big mac order with extra pickle, lettuce, onion and sauce. Took 15 minutes from ordering to receiving food. Had to intervene and tell worker that that was my order Also the new mcdonalds rule of calling people "guest" really irks me

The service was fast but the fries were pretty old

love this place so much, eden is a very hard working individual, she deserves a gold star for reals. Carrie the floor manager is also very lovely, so nice. Food always tastes good.

If you like raw, cold, soggy chips and the worst burger meat I’ve ever seen and tasted then this is the place for you! I don’t remember the last time I enjoyed a McDonald’s. Has gone downhill big time yet they have put their prices up. Not just this restaurant, they are all the same. Me and my family are done with McDonald’s, smash burger all the way!!

Rude staff backed up by a disgraceful manageress , cold food.

Members of staff are incompetent, do not keep you informed. Lie to you and tell you your foods being made when they’ve not even started. Manager is rude and aggressive to customers and her own members of staff. Every time you go to this Macdonalds, they take 20/30mins to give app orders and then use the excuse that it’s apparently a restaurant and that makes the wait justifiable. Today I had my second order given before my first, melted in my hand - no refund or replacement and the first order after waiting for 30 mins was no replaced and cash money was thrown at me and when holding the staff and manager accountable for their behaviour and attitude I was told they’d call the police. On leaving the restaurant the manager was seen shouting and being aggressive to her own staff. Poor management, bad quality food, poor time management and over bad customer service. Steer clear of this place. Complaint will be taken higher

I've been going to bike shops since I was 14, I'm now 57. This is without doubt the best bike shop I've been to. Friendly, extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. Just wished they were open Sundays to.

Woman manager was extremely rude denying my pregnant girlfriend the use of the toilet. The guy who let us use the toilet was absolutely amazing, I feel bad for him working under a completely abhorrent manager.

Was ok but my burger was hardly warm

It was a busy teatime but only the ground floor was open,had to stand by a bin to eat my food as there were no free tables.The vegan dippers were far to big and were more like large strips than dippers and should be labelled as such.

Always trouble, not safe and bad food.

Wrong order, charged more than I should of spent and manager was rude

Made an order on just eat at 17.30 on 31/3/2023. No food arrived by 19.00, no food at 19.30, no food at 20.00. At this point we tired to call the restaurant but could not get through. Finally got through at 20.30 who said I had to put a complaint through Just Eat was not interested. Two children here who are hungry. At 21.30 FOURS LATER the food arrived stone cold we could not eat it and I am a lot of money down. This is awful they have taken my money and not given the goods.

When 7 dips are on the order, you'd expect to get at least one, even from McDonald's. I appreciate working for the minimum wage doesn't motivate a great deal but surely the managers should be on the ball to oversee things. Clearly they're as useless as the grunts serving. Forty years ago, McDonald's seemed to be on the ball. How can a business get WORSE after all that time?!!

Visited late lunchtime. Ordered via the app. Very busy. Order quick. Food as you expect. It's a high street store, so parking elsewhere.

Been multiple times, all very mixed. Food ALWAYS comes out super slow, and there’s usually an issue with food being stale, thrown together and mashed up, drinks not being mixed properly. But it’s McDonalds so it’s expected. But this one is especially slow compared to other maccies which is really the killer.

For some reason the last two times I've been in the upstairs seating and toilets not accessible which leaves only 5 tables available.

Filthy not enough seating no toilet acces upstairs closed off ,avoid at all costs its not a hygienic place

Guys, I witnessed a bullying moment, On the upper floor 2 teenagers were trying to intimidate a member of your young staff while he was cleaning. I ll speak to the manager anyway but my question is how are you guys managing this sort of situations and how is it that none of the staff observed this situation, it was happening for a while. I have to admit that the bullied person manage to get out from this situation quite impressive.

I'm getting sick to death of ordering of this place. I've been ordering from here because I live within a half mile, but it's not even worth it. There hasn't been a delivery made that hasn't been missing something (Sauces usually), but today was the last cardboard straw. Food was an hour late, cold AND NO SAUCES! Get yourself sorted out Donald.

Food is always at a decent standard for McDonald but they prioritise deliveries over walkin customers. They also seldom get an order correct. Always missing milks or sauces or if you customise your order they ignore it and you get what your given...

I get my order cold,and missing chicken ngts,milkshakes melted,like milk with sugar...terrible...

Milk shakes twice I've been never had any,the toys in children meal never had any so we ended up with 3 books of elfs otherwise all good the service excellence.

High street McDonald’s shittttttt now 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮too much long wait for delivery 40-50 minutes and if the order doesn’t come on the screen the managers doesn’t know how to find or help they says straight cancel the order . My last visit was quite interesting, ordered a big tasty with bacon with the touch screen terminals and apparently they haven't been doing them for months 😂 lucky I mentioned it to the cashier otherwise I would have been waiting for it all day

Well busy and got kids vaping all over the place. But it's a McDonalds so will give it 3/5 xx

Was the only customer when I entered but 20 minutes later, the 2 Happy Meals ordered for the kids hadn't been prepared. Others had entered after us, ordered, been served and left. When the food finally came, I said the wait was too long and was dismissively told they "don't control the food". If they don't "control the food" what do they do? They certainly weren't under staffed! One to avoid.

Food is ok but bro idk how many times i order nachos cheese wedges and dont get my dip ow how many times i order juice and don’t get the straw?? Like how imma supposed to drink that bro? And oh. I hate pickles in my hamburger but i mostly of the time get it so yh no more than 2 stars from me.

It's a McDonald's what more can I say. Food is acceptable and was served quite speedy for a Friday night.

I wouldn't normally post a review of McDonald's because it's McDonald's. It may be that it's half term but the place was a bit of a mess to say the least. Overflowing bins, rubbish everywhere, no sauce 'pumps' working and at least two toilets in a foul state. There looked to be plenty of staff around and they certainly weren't resting but maybe some different priorities wouldn't have gone amiss. Considering how busy it was, the service was efficient and accurate and when a staff member did come to sort out the bins etc. they were apologetic of the situation.

I just wanted to leave a review saying I had excellent service with the trainee lady serving food called Emily, when I sent back my food she was very polite and apologised for the confusion. We need more workers like Emily. I personally, recommend this branch a lot.

It took a long time to wait for the order, because of this the food was cold.

OMG so slow only interested in serving the delivery teams not the physical customers who have ordered on the screens or at the till. 20 minutes for sausage and egg meal that was sat on the side so was cold. Do you want another one? Doh who wants a cold one?

Placed order in self service for latte a smoothie- no printed receipt. As soon as I stood in waiting area I noticed the coffee placed on counter. My friend went to toilet upstairs - drinks were ready but not called out. Waited over 5 min before we were ready to be served. I requested a new hot drink- another several minutes- when I finally asked for the coffee as it will become cold again, I was rudely informed mine was being prepared. After 20 min of total wait for the drinks, we left with only one smoothie as my patience ran out. That was second unpleasant incident in this particular MacDonald.

2 hour waitnon mcdelivery and when it finally arrived the food was stone cold and flat cokes. Never ordering again from here

Most of the items are expesives even on takeway apps for 2 cicken wraps 2 medium fries 1 medium Coke 1 ice cream and 3 dips of sweet chilii souce I pay £14!!!! Because always they charge u from £2.50-£4.00 per delivery which is allot but if u pay by cred on takeaway app they charge u an extra 0.50p !!! I would no recomand McDonalds anymore. They make so much money and still have high prices !!!!

me and my friends were laughing at a group chat and one of the worker come over and though we were laughing at him so he decided to make fun of my friend with eczema and called her a tomato and called her red face. she was deeply upset and hurt with this comment and feel uncomfortable about her skin.

The staff are so rude and there is one polish or Romanian with tattoos on her arms, she is shift manager she is rude and shouting at the customers, very bad and her attitude was out of the limit, I was not happy about her attitude towards the customers, I will not go to this restaurant again, not clean at at all

The fries are usally too salty and it's very hot inside the restaurant.

I ordered myself a McPlant and my parents the garlic cheesy bites but when my parents bit into them they realised they were chicken nuggets. As you can imagine, after being vegetarian for 2 years they were rather upset about this. The employee gave them one extra cheesy bite to make up for it. Shambolic service - how can you serve someone chicken nuggets in a cheesy bites bag WITH the sauce? What’s not clicking there? There needs to be extra precautions put in place, or just general training on how not to give a vegetarian MEAT.

Alas, tasteless.. so as not to add to it, the taste did not improve ((

Went in for a quick breakfast and the food was great but i couldn't help but notice the manager patronising her staff at the front desk! Doesn't look good on the company.
