The best restaurants in Bedford East of England

As Storm Ashley brought dismal and chaotic local conditions, where better to enjoy great food, lovely hospitality and a very warm welcome than at The Plough. We visited for Sunday Lunch with our dog, sat in the bar area and enjoyed a first class meal with very attentive staff and great food. Thoroughly recommend!

Food was late and arrived cold.

Stayed here a couple of times and always been very happy. Great rooms and very friendly staff. Thinneslm & Svetler on reception were particular standouts for great service.

My favourite Costa store, they never let me down with their service!

The room was wonderful and when i needed some help with extending my stay, Sarah and Mandy were amazing, even with the slow systems. Great service with a smile. Definitely coming back for a relaxing weekend

Ordered a caramel frappucino and I got basically a drink that tasted like coconut milk and sugar. I could already tell there was no caramel syrup in it but the server assured me there was but when I tasted it there definitely was no caramel syrup in it. Not had an issue before ordering the same type of drink. For the price you pay for a drink there shouldn't be issues with it.

Not the best Costa in the area. Service is okay, however, the woman (manager maybe) can come across as very stand offish. The Atmosphere quite loud. Edited (20.06.24). Things have seemed to have changed. Very good experience.

Great bar with very friendly staff. A nearly secret outdoor area to enjoy too. This bar accepts bitcoin for payment.

Excellent food. A little pricey

This shop is expensive and the food is not what we were expected.

Food was pretty good and reasonable portions size.only excepts cash so be prepare to pull out the moola.loads of parking too which was good.
