Costa Coffee in Bedford

Not the best Costa in the area. Service is okay, however, the woman (manager maybe) can come across as very stand offish. The Atmosphere quite loud. Edited (20.06.24). Things have seemed to have changed. Very good experience.

You never have any gluten free food in any of your stores which in this day and age is ridiculous. People with intolerances get hungry to you know and a packet of crisps or a flapjack isn't the answer!

My father celebrated his 101st birthday, the team made a real fuss of him with free coffee and cake, they even made him a poster and sang happy birthday. Wonderful team

Popped in there while waiting for the missus. Coffee was OK but I seemed to have timed my visit during their tea break. Lots of giggling, noise and raised emotions behind the counter. Not a problem for me personally but older people might frown on the boisterous atmosphere.

It's Costa, and it's done well. Staff all seem chipper and are eager to help in any way they can, even the trainee baristas tackle their tasks with infectious enthusiasm and good humour. All coffees, hot chocolates, smoothies and iced drinks are on point, and their selection of food, both savory and sweet, is always brilliant. Gluten-free options are also often available. The facilities on the whole are kept in pristine condition, including the toilets. The general aesthetic of the café is also brighter and more cheerful than some other branches and has pretty themed artwork adorning the walls. Good coffee, good food and good service, as a branch of Costa should be. See you all again soon, guys. ☕️

Popped into Costa Kempston for a Chia Latte, waited a good 10mins before taking my order wasn’t particularly busy! Placed my order, got the impression the staff did not want to be there, made my order missing the cinnamon sprinkles, I asked if I could have some? Abrupt response “we don’t do cinnamon”… alrighty then! Drink was alright..lame service. They need to sort their fly problem too.

Best customer service experience from Cara very welcoming, kind and offered seasonal hot drinks with an option if it wasn’t to my taste she would swap it for the regular drink. Thank you so much Cara you’re definitely an asset to Costa 😃

A Costa like all Costa's. Things are relatively expensive, but drinks were hot and seating inside was suitable for meeting up with friends.

Staff are polite, and do a great job. They always look rushed off there feet, and there doesn't seem to be enough staff for the place. The girls/ladies have great knowledge on their drinks and food, the place is nearly always tidy and inviting. I hope these workers get a good Christmas bonus or at least recognised for their hard work!

Iced peach tea and croissant, sounds great the reality not so. Luke warm drink and hard pastry. Not much to recommend.

Ordered from her via Uber eats. They sent me raw sausages. Luckily I opened the bap to check it as I am pregnant and this could have made me and my baby very ill. If I could give 0 stars I would. Tried to call the restaurant to explain and no answer. Will not be ordering from here again!

Worst costa ever, you’ll always get a burned milk , extremely hot that you cannot even taste the coffe in the first 20’min because of the hotness, avoid this costa

After the initial hiccup that I had with this store, which was totally my own fault, I feel relaxed and enjoy every visit, the staff are very understanding as well as polite and also courteous...thanks from someone who Bipolar.

Don't use a table unless it has been cleared. I cleared the table by adding the stuff to another table. Most of it was still there when we left an hour later. The coffee wasn't very hot. Not up to their usual high standards I'm afraid

I have been here many times and each time I have been amazed at how polite and friendly the staff are. Even during the pandemic the staff have still given the same friendly courteous service. Recently my daughter and a friend visited and a particular member of staff made the 1st trip out for the girls memorable. I believe her name is Kirsty. I truly believe Kirsty is an asset to the costa team. Well done Kirsty for making all customers feel welcome and during this pandemic bringing a smile to two young girls faces.

Love their coffee and hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream with chocolate sprinkles on them. The cakes are also really nice!

The staff were very busy, so they mess up a couple of orders, which the waiting time started to be long. The food was okay, except the muffin I ate it wasn't so fresh. It looks like it wasn't from the previous day.

Lovely coffee shop. I don't even need to place my order now, they just know it! Really helpful staff. Only downside is the door to leave is pull only 😂 bit tricky when carrying drinks, but I guess that's not up to them.

Is what it is love the coffee sometimes not warm enough for me. Asked for warmer was told they couldn't. My only other issue is coffee machine always looks dirty beans all over everywhere. May be I should go in earlier before the lunch rush! Not after.

this store is at the end of the parade of shops in the saxon centre car parking is by the underground car park by the sainsbury's store some lifts and travelators are available along with stairs located at several points around the square . selling the usual costa fair a small seating area is also outside the storefront .toilets are at the rear of the building.friendly staff and a clean interior.
