Kempston kebab in Bedford

My neighbor ordered food for us tonight, 17/01/22, I ordered the Lamb Shish which was totally disgusting, the meat had no taste and was like a dry powdery meat, not sure if this was real meat or soya meat, it was awful, the price was 9.00 just for the kebab with no pitta bread, came with lots of soggy chips, I will never order from this rip of place again, and I would advise you go elsewhere if you want a DECENT KEBAB.....

There was a slight slip up on my order and one of the gentlemen sorted it for me very quickly and was amazing. Thankyou for the kind gesture you made.

Really tasty shish kebabs. Got that perfect combination of chargrill but not drying out the meat too much. Lamb was cooked to perfection. Good quantity, fair value. Top notch!

After being a loyal customer for many years we finally had a terrible delivery from Kempston Kebab. We order the same thing every time and they have been great for years but this delivery only had half the amount of Kofte Kebab, half the amount of Shish kebab and the Doner meat had changed to something that resembles a cheap kebab van that caters for drunk midnight eaters. A shocking experience and when I rang to explain (being a loyal customer) they just said that they would speak to the chef and sort me out next time. Sorry, there will not be a next time. Years of good food ruined with one delivery. Absolutely gutted that this has happened. Goodbye Kempston Kebab.

Just had 2 lovely chicken shish and will order again. Saturday night and it did take over an hour for delivery which makes me think driving to the shop might have been quicker, so for delivery I will allow for this next time. I'd have given 5, if it had arrived quicker.

Ordered online. Food arrived promptly and was tasty. The only problem was it was cold. Food should be transported in a thermal bag to keep it warm but this was on the bag seat of the drivers car in a plastic bag.

We have made this our pizza and kebab place to go now in Bedford. The pizzas are amazing, and they are two for one which is even better. The combination kebabs are to die for, they never compromise on quality or the amount given.. I tried a Lamb and Chicken Shish Wrap tonight and was left feeling satisfied and very full!! Thoroughly recommended.

Asked to write a review by Just Eat on this establishment: What can Kempston Kebabs do to make it better next time? 1. Not have it arrive 50 minutes late and when we call to ask where it is tell us it will be another 15 minutes when in actual fact it's over 30 minutes. 2. Not provide meat that I can only imagine in its chewiness and rubber band like texture would be rivaled by that of an armadillo. 3. Provide the order as asked for i.e. don't replace request for extra chillies with removal of all chillies (note this request was made in the comments on Just Eat and via telephone with Kempston Kebabs directly). 4. Have the order arrive at least lukewarm whereby the customer doesn't have to set their microwave to defrost in order to start eating. 5. Employ staff who are not beyond obnoxious in their customer service and telephone manner. As soon as we discovered the "quality" (and that term is used in the loosest way possible) we phoned up to complain (note on the guidance of Kempston Kebabs OWN delivery driver!). We were met with the most nonsensical responses from the halfwit at the end of the line: Us: Our food has arrived and it's over an hour late and was not what we ordered Customer Service King: Yeah? Us: Yes. Customer Service King: We sent it as soon as it was ready Us: That may be but it was inedible, not as per our order and over an hour late Customer Service King: Well it wasn't just sitting around Us: And what about the fact it wasn't what we ordered? Customer Service King: It was Us: We specified what we wanted both on the Just Eat website AND via telephone directly with you! Customer Service King: It was By this point I knew better than to try and have a conversation with a complete imbecile. Had I have advised him that they had actually sent me a Full Platter from Nandoes which is not what I ordered his response would have been as simple as "It was". Moral of the story; unless you want to pay over £22 for two armadillo Kebabs with chilli sauce that tastes like something cultivated out of a sweaty armpit and wait nearly hours for the pleasure before speaking to someone with all the customer service of a soiled nappy DO NOT ORDER FROM KEMPSTON KEBAB

We waited 10 mins and there was a cue. It was worth the wait. The salad was fresh and I caught one of the men filling the salad bar with oilve oil extra virgin. The meat was tender and cooked right. Very tasty and worth the extra mone as apposed to the ones in town. Worth the extra journey to Kempston and worth the money. The service was excellent for a little take away. Everyone who was cueing was served in line even though they waited outside. They remembered what we liked too and gave it to us. I would go again and I would reccomend them five stars is not enough. Go straight there and collect it or order it fro there.

Ordered a chicken Shish in a wrap. The chicken was cooked beautifully, hot and flavoursome. Staff very friendly and everywhere looked very clean.

Great team offering a good range of foods. Pizza, kebabs are the main items. Fast turnaround time on orders. I normally collect in person but delivery is availalbe. Parking outside can be a bit hit and miss as it on a main road.
