Dropped in for a quick pint after watching rugby...got a warm welcome and a very nice pint.

They are a very good takeaway place to order from. Food is great. The service from the woman at the front counter was amazing and she was very polite and helped explain the dishes to me.

One of my favourite go to chicken places, I drive across town for their wings!

Food is decent but not what it used to be. I feel it has dropped in standards from when they first opened. Fries where very hard and crunchy. Couldn't push a fork through it as it just shattered.

Was visiting Bedford and found this pub to watch the England match. It was a very friendly atmosphere, great bbq food. We were made to feel very welcome by all the staff. Would definitely recommend

Lee’s Takeaway is a true gem! Every time I order food from here, I am incredibly impressed by the quality and taste of the dishes. Even though the place offers only takeaway, each meal is prepared with such care and love that you can feel the thoughtfulness in every bite. The staff is always friendly and courteous, and the delivery is quick and reliable. This is a place where you know you will always get something special. I am grateful to have such a takeaway in town, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious, quality food to enjoy at home!

I recommend, we just eat there and all was really good, nice place, smaller but really clean. The food was great.

Good local English pub with good beer and atmosphere

We booked this lunch with friends having read about the Chef and the Pub’s ethos on Muddy Stilettos website. Warm welcome on arrival in the small traditional bar got things off to a good start. The starters we tried, confit of duck n raw tuna were both delicious and all (four of us) opted for different mains, lamb beef and pork and all were exceptional. Very generous portions, as were the veg - cauli/broccoli cheese, root veg, greens, and superb roast pots. Staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. Best Sunday lunch out i’ve had in a long time. Not the cheapest but great value considering quality, and that almost all local produce. Can’t wait to return for the Farmers Table!

I was there for a wake. The staff were lovely and the food they laid on was great. Not been to this pub for a long time, but definitely will be returning.

Have enjoyed Wilstead Tandoori for 6-8 years, but unfortunately since new takeover in past 1 year the quality is seriously degrading. I’m one to not judge on one bad curry but after numerous ones over the last 6 months alone I thought it was worth a review. On the hope this constructive feedback will drive some improvements. Lastnight our order as an example was incomplete, the Naan bread was tough and wife & daughter couldn’t eat it, rice containers 25% empty so where I’d normally split a rice between our 2 daughters, this wasn’t possible. The chips were hard, hollow and tasteless. Mixed grill starter was swimming in grease, unfortunate I missed a further review below who had a similar bad experience with that dish. On calling up to challenge the missing item, they told me it was a bad signal, but they didn’t feel the need to check the order back with me ?!? They also agreed to send a new rice. Upon getting the missing item and new rice, the rice was wrong again !!! My wife on her birthday was left watching us eat our meal to have hers 40mins later, with rice she wasn’t keen on and cold naan. Hope situation gets better..

Super customer service. Absolutely brilliant with one of our group who was a coeliac, and looked after her so well.
