I love the desserts from this place and have been ordering them for years. I have noticed though that they put less ice cream in than they used to. Also, as a regular customer, I feel like the restaurant should have rang me to let me know they were a driver short and the order was going to be severely delayed. One hour and a half to receive ice creams is way too much. You should tell your customers and not let it get to the point where they are trying to ring you to find out where the food is. Not sure I’ll be ordering from here again now.
Really good experience today at the Harvester. Served by Stacey and she was really friendly and helpful. We were a big table with lots of drinks and orders but she handled it with a great sense of humour. Food was great and the place was clean 10/10
I popped into this pub for a lunch meeting. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Great selection on the food menu and great value, lunch, and drink for £10. You can also upgrade this deal for a more premium experience for just another £1. We will definitely be returning and recommending this fine establishment.
Great service, food was excellent and came out fast, staff very friendly and chatty. They also gave my grandad a table far away from the window on request, so very approachable. Overall a great restaurant.
Visited for the first time on Saturday. I am a wheelchair user so used the lift. We used the app to order although you can order at the counter. Food arrived fairly quickly and couldn't fault it. We had waffles and they were lovely. Staff friendly too. Looking forward to going again.
Our favourite Chinese takeaway away. Lovely food, well priced too. A busy place, so you may have to wait a while while your food is cooked. That shows how good the shop is.
I would absolutley recommend Kervan Kitchen now know as Buzz Kitchen in Basildon. The food is amazing and reasonably priced, staff are so lovely and the venue is just beautiful
Ignored by two female members of staff while they did a personal transaction on the till. In fact, we actually asked if they were still serving as we had not been acknowledged. One member just replied bluntly yes and continued with their transaction. It all seemed a bit of an effort for them. The tea was coffee was actually nice when we received them.
We ordered a take away for 3 last night, really disappointing food, the chicken in my chicken biryani was so hard and dry I didn't eat any of it after the first bite, the whole dish was dry and tasteless as if it had been made the day before and then reheated, the chicken really was of a terrible quality. My partner had ordered onion bhajis, they were oily, chewy, not crisp at all, they went in the bin too. The two chicken masala's were passable but I would say go to The Raj, their take away food, even for an order of 20 which we did at Xmas was beautiful.
Complete joke of a restaurant. Try to get you to use apps that don’t work. Tried to pay at till. Employees couldn’t work anything. Walked out before even ordering, staff didn’t even notice we had gone. Don’t waste your time going to this restaurant
I played a game of bridge at the best bridge club in Essex, First Class Bridge Academy and wanted a quick sandwich before the game. Popped in here, basic cafe, nothing special, tbh looks like the factory pass from 'Dinner Ladies' I ordered an egg mayo sandwich and a diet coke £9 😯 yep, seriously £9, I actually queried the amount but I think the heat must have got to me because all I could come up with was 'blimey'. It was served with a dead lettuce and a slice of cucumber and what looked like leftover crisps, no napkin, no condiments and not on a silver platter, which was disappointing at that price ! Young mum's beware, bring your own picnic because the prices in this rip off joint will spoil an otherwise lovely day out.
