Complete joke of a restaurant. Try to get you to use apps that don’t work. Tried to pay at till. Employees couldn’t work anything. Walked out before even ordering, staff didn’t even notice we had gone. Don’t waste your time going to this restaurant

We ordered a take out from Basildon Nandos. It arrived in good time the food was tasty but we all noticed that the PORTIONS ARE MUCH SMALLER THAN USUAL. I have noticed this at other Nandos too (Mahon Point Cork and Cork City) Rip off prices for small portions. Used to be a favourite. You've lost three Nandos fans.

Well where do I start I've never eaten in a dirtier place than this food all over the floor the waitress and waiters looked filthy one of the waitress dropped the plate on one table smashed to bits then she spilt a drink over a young baby glass smashed everywhere she just stood there till a member of the public helped clear it up thefood was bland and boring the menus were filthy the waitress aprons were covered I food overall I wouldn't even rate it a 1 that would be a insult never go there again I hope there not all as filthy as basildon but then again you've only got to look st the people in basildon council scumbags

The team working tonight were friendly efficient and could not do enough to make our visit a great experience. It is obvious that the manager working tonight has a great professional relationship with her staff and she is well respected and a great leader Well done to the team at Nando’s mayflower, your service was brilliant, food as always 10/10 and the vibe is unmatched.

i don't apreciate rudeness found waitress very rude when i didnt want to use qr code after explaining my disabillity where i was told that i had to improve on her laziness to help maybe i would of if the wifi actually worked then stood in corner clearly making comments to a member of her team the food was below par my chicken was as dry as the sahara desert it seems nandos are going down the f highering the dumb school kid who when is asked something goes off in a sulk like a child worst experience ever but that clearly seems the fact in all branches will never return and will be making formal complaint to head office

I am extremely disappointed with nandos! I went recently to collect my order and they told me they did not have it on there system but had taken my money out of my account and I had an order number! But as I didn’t have a confirmation email they couldn’t do anything about this, they knew what had happened it must happen a lot! Nandos need to sort out there booking system! I then had to go back onto the app and pay again! I did not get one apology even from the manger, this is on there system failing and bad customer service. If they showed some better customer service I would not be writing this review.

10/10 trip . From the very friendly guy on the door who was very chatty and sociable, the trainee server who showed us to our table and a huge shout out to shift Manager James who was so helpful and went above and beyond to cater to my vegan daughters needs. She was especially happy as he informed her that the Nando garlic bread is in fact Vegan. We’ll be back soon!

Being a couple of pensioner's my wife and I decided to visit Nando's for lunch on Tuesday,we had to book and this was done by I Phone which neither myself or my wife had as we only had very old and ancient phones and both our son's had left their phones at our house as did our grand children. However the lovely young lady said I can put your name and address and book without an I Phone which she did. We had about an hour wait before we could get a table,so we had a look around the shops,we all went back to the restaurant and was shown to our table.We then were given menu's to choose what we wanted we was'nt sure what to have as we had not been to Nando's before. A really nice young lady showed us what would be nice for each of us.The all round service Excellent,the food was Excellent we had the large family share meal plus lots of sides and drinks.Our whole dining experience was Excellent. With the best service I have ever had in a restaurant for a very long time.

Ordered the Butterfly Burger and peri chips. Chicken is only ever best when it's moist and succulent and the Chef did not disappoint. Good music, good atmosphere and awesome food. As evidenced by the photo, nothing was left on the plate

We visited Nando’s at approximately 8pm on a Friday, we were greeted by Sam who looked like he was the manager and said there was a 20 minute wait. Approximately 10 minutes went by and we got a table. All the staff were very attentive. Being a waitress myself seeing the tables and floors wiped down and cleaned so quickly was very nice to see. Even though at Nando’s you order your food at the desk Sam (manager) asked us if we wanted another drink and delivered quite quickly. I would recommend the Nando’s and mayflower as I normally go to the one at festival leisure. The staff were lovely and on a busy Friday were all smiley, the food was amazing as usual and I couldn’t say a bad word. Also the decor at this particular Nando’s was spot on, it was different to the other chain restaurants we have visited. We will definitely be visiting again.

Spur of the moment lunch for a colleague who was leaving. I’m not a Nando’s fan, and the only non meat eater in the group however I was pleasantly surprised by the different veggie options. I had the portobello mushroom and halloumi pitta which was messy to eat but very tasty and a perfect size for lunch. Thanks Nando’s, I’ll be back to sample the other options at some point!

We go Nando’s quite often usually the Chelmsford one or the one in Basildon This one, we would not return We were sat quickly and cannot complain about service but the filth on the tables , chair and the toilets a different story The food was not well cooked and to make it worse there is no service so my 2 teens were well annoyed ... Would not recommend

Popped over here for lunch with friend and had Grilled Chicken in wrap with Rice & Peri Peri chips on the side. We also had Peri Peri nuts & Mixed Olives for starters with Sagres beer. Excellent quick service and the food was tasty as usual.

Currently waiting for a takeaway. Ordered to pick up for 8.45pm and it’s now 9pm and the staff are no closer to sorting my order. What tops it off is that from where I’m sitting waiting, I can see 3 staff messing around and waving to people outside. Pretty disappointed.

This is not the biggest Nando's but it is new and nicely designed. We've been a few times and have always managed to get a table. Parking couldn't be easier. I guess because it is smaller it sometimes feels a little crowded. The food on this visit was really good as pretty much it always is and the staff were super friendly, particularly the member of staff that took our order. In fact the food was that good I keep on thinking I'd like to go again very soon!!

Visited Nando's on Saturday night for dinner, we were seated pretty quickly. When we were ready to go up and order, we were waiting to be served for a little while, bearing in mind the restaurant was pretty empty. We kept being told by one of the staff to 'wait a minute', whilst they were all having a conversation and laughing amongst themselves. We finally had our order taken. Our food was served, I ordered the wraps with a side of rice, there was hardly any chicken in the wraps, they were pretty much 90% lettuce with a little strip of chicken. Usually, I get a decent amount of chicken in the wraps at any other Nando's, this was very disappointing and a complete rip off. If I wanted a wrap that consisted of just salad, I would of asked for this. To top it off, the cutlery and glasses were also unclean. We won't visit this Nando's again, it was miles from being our usual Nando's visit at any other Nando's establishment. Very disappointing.

This is my favourite Nando. Food nice and service good. Consistent quality and the speed is fairly good. Parking is plentiful as well. The only thing I don't get is that the wifi and mobile signal drops out and so can't get a service for love nor money

I go to Nando's at least once a month (more like twice) and always enjoy my meal. I visited Nando's Mayflower tonight and was disgusted. We waited over an hour for our food on a WEDNESDAY evening (Nando's is usually a 30 minute wait on a busy night) but we waited as the food from Nando's is always so good. The manager who looked like he couldn't be bothered to get ready for work that evening came over saying our food would be five more minutes. At this stage I knew something was wrong. 15 minutes later, our food arrived (see pics). Watery rubbery chicken with no flavour was sat in front of me. "Creamy" mash with bits of rice in which was obviously taken from someone else's plate sat in a bowel next to hot coleslaw. We tried to eat it but after my girlfriend noticed her chicken was PINK, I complained. The previous manager came over and asked what was wrong. I explained and showed him and told him how nice Nando's usually is, and all he could say was "what would you like me to do about it?". Why is he managing a restaurant? Anyway, I got my cash refund after paying on card (what is that about) and left unhappy. It has put me off of Nando's and I will definitely not be returning to Mayflower again. Do yourself a favour and head to festival leisure.

I was her to day wit my pregnant wife and her sister the staff was terrible racist and the was hair in my food the place looked appalling the was dirt every were the manger with the glasses never got her name was Ignorant and very rude Nando's should really have a chat to her and staff members was swearing and ther was kids in there as well. I will never use this restaurant again and I urge other customers do not come her .

Went into this nandos and been a few times. It was the quietest I've seen it since its been opened. Was sat down quiet quickly and expectin the evening to be a nice one. Went up to the till to be served by Courtney. Not faulting her for anything, waited for my receipt to find out the till crashed so I just moved on and sat down again.

Popped into Nando's at Mayflower Basildon today. Restaurant was nice and meal OK. Service was slow, and my wife was disappointed with her meal. It came up quite dry. She complained to a member of staff who told her to complain in line! No offer to replace the meal. We really like Nando's and hopefully this is a one off. This is a new Nando's and has potential, but clearly they need to improve their standard and staff training.

I went to the new Nando's which had already been open for a couple of weeks, we was seated rather quick, which is always a bonus, it looks lovely in there, food came out perfect and did not wait too long, only downfall is that they have squeezed in too many smaller tables, so you have to squeeze past other diners that are eating, and I'm only petite, so slightly awkward, it happened to me as I was eating and did not like that at all, but on the upside once again, I was really nice, probably go to festival leisure park though only because of seating. Staff was good at their job, thumbs up.

The food was good as always. The guy who served me was very pleasant and made conversation. The only downside to my experience was the young girl in a blue top with tattoos on her arm. The restaurant was quiet, and she was leaning against the side and was constantly on her phone in full view of all customers. I would say this does not give a very good impression. I would think staff shouldn't have their phones out all the time, even managers ( if she was one) .
