Kervan Kitchen in Basildon

I would absolutley recommend Kervan Kitchen now know as Buzz Kitchen in Basildon. The food is amazing and reasonably priced, staff are so lovely and the venue is just beautiful

I was working away and visited here on my own. I was served promptly and the food and drink was excellent. I can recommend the Sarma Beyti (delicious).

Overall the meal was exactly as you'd expect from a Turkish. Mixed shish was delightful. Efes on tap. Good bread & sauces. We all came away full & very satisfied! Service was good too.

Sadly the service and quality of food has deteriorated since our last visit. The steak served was of terrible quality. When mentioned to our waiter he called the manager, who was incredibly dismissive, offered no apology or alternative meal, simply looked down his nose and said " I'll take it off the bill" and walked away. Such a shame as we used to really like it here, won't be returning

We went as a group of 9 for a family birthday. My 2 year old daughter is allergic to soya and dairy. This meant she only could have 3 meat options and NO sides except salad - what 2 year old wants a bed of leaves? I asked for cucumber - it didn’t come with that. I was disappointed that they couldn’t boil some rice for her just in water. They wanted to charge me £10 for her bits of meat. We questioned it and they took £2.50 off the bill. Our bill came to over £400.. at this point I had enough and just wanted to get out. We will not be returning. This is the first place I’ve been to in 18 months that doesn’t cater for allergies. Such a beautiful place but such a disappointment.
