OMG Desserts in Basildon

Amazing portion sizes, nice people and great service. I absolutely demolished my food (brownie waffle) and the Oreo doughnut’s appearance is incredible and I can’t wait to tuck in to it later on. A lovely treat after working hard all day. I would highly recommend to anyone and will definitely be ordering from here again.

Wanted to get some great waffles from here….was so surprised at the £7.00 price but was willing to pay because I had faith they’d make amazing ones…in short, they weren’t. They were really plain with just plain chocolate on top, and waayyyy overpriced. The cardboard box they came in smelt of pizza and so did the napkins. Wouldn’t recommend

Great food may not be five stars but should be higher then on google

The waffles were gluey and looked like they were made of plastic. Also the container smelled of pizza (??) I would not recommend this takeaway to my worst enemy. Also the staff looked like they didn’t know what they were doing, and the kitchen was dark and looked dirty.

Was lovely the crepe and waffle arrived hot and was so tasty will definitely be ordering from here again. Amazing thankyou so much

I ordered ferrero cookie dough, malteaser milkshake, biscoff sundae and cheesecake with chocolate. All were delicious. No fault with food but delivery driver was very slow getting items from his bag. But would order again.

Absolutely LOVE this place. I'm a regular, don't have much money ever which is why I like that it's fairly cheap. I always get a biscoff n white chocolate donut, they never fail to give the perfect amount of topping, n the drinks are just as divine. Every sip like heaven. The staff are so lovely too, even when it's busy they're so polite. N the atmosphere, I like the dark setting, it's much better than something bright n eye straining. Seats are comfy n sometimes I just eat in. The music is the perfect volume. Overall it's a 10/10 n the only improvement I can think of is hiring me.

Throughly enjoyed our desert, ready on time due to giving us a courtesy call before hand to double check collection time. Nice and fresh, much prefer omg desserts to all the other dessert parlours. Never had a bad experience 🙂

Milk cake was lovely, mini eggs waffle could of had some more chocolate sauce but all in all very nice food. I would order from here again!

Excellent customer service. I accidentally clicked on collect and the restaurant called me. Luckily the lady who called me double checked it was collection. She was very helpful and the waffle was great. Thank you to the lady who delt with it. 😊

Everything but the white chocolate chip cookie dough was lovely as always used these loads and normally spot on just a massive shame they burnt the bottom of the white chocolate chip cookie dough one and you could only taste the burnt bottom had to bin I have photos but can’t upload

I don't see how this place gets bad reviews. We order every week, and without fail, everything is perfect and delivered before the time slot.

If you have coeliac or gluten intolerance this place is a godsend! The only place I get get gluten free goodies delivered. Customer service is amazing, delivery always on time, food is fresh and tasty.

Was OK, the Biscoff waffle was very dry barely any sauce, just a load of biscuits thrown on. Still would order again from here but maybe choose something different

Never left a bad review in my life but they messed up one of the waffles, I called and they said they’d deliver another one but wouldn’t be in the next hour as others delivery’s need to be done first… guy on the phone had the customer service skills of a brick wall. They missed the whipped cream on the Oreo milkshake which tasted like pure chocolate anyway. The cookie dough was burnt & an hour later still no waffle replacement for their mistake. Won’t be ordering again. 👍🏽

Food had plastic in it I had no refund. Tried multiple time to contact after no reply. Normally they are very good and delicious but not this time

Too much chocolate on top of the cookie dough and ice cream wasn't soft scoop or maybe in the freezer too long but overall the delivery was very quick and portions were a decent size. Thanks

Cheesecake was banging. Donut was solid over than the outside, very stale, couldn’t even bite it.

Both chocolate fudge cake and Victoria sponge were hard and dry!! Very chewy so ended up in the bin!! Waste of £8!!

Over 2 hours late and refuses the refund or cancel the order it turned up and 10:45 pm the restaurant closed at 10 and would not answer the phone

Ordered a twix banoffee waffle and Oreo cookie. Both were amazing and delish. If the ice cream was a bit more of a clotted cream or creamier version. Then by far it would’ve been perfect 😍

I Ordered my first omg desserts my order come to me on time I couldn’t believe how fresh and hot! it was when I open the box. My waffle was delicious and they are generous with there topping I chose. can’t wait to order again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food is great. Never fails but delivery from here is always so bad. Normally have to wait an hour and half for delivery.

Food was cold on arrival. Ice cream had melted all because the driver took ages. Restaurant and food are actually not bad, I’ve had the desserts a few times, but the delivery service was TERRIBLE

I use to order the jammy dodger milkshake from here and it was top notch made with real biscuit now it just taste like powder worse milkshake I’ve had in a long time and I definitely wouldn’t be ordering again

The food is always lovely and delivered in a reasonable time.

Ordered from this place many times and loved it. I’ve realised that they’ve greatly reduced their portion size and quality. Their delivery times are also awful and my husband also experienced a very rude delivery driver. On the portion size- you now get a very thin layer of cookie dough with loads of chocolate shavings which gives the illusion of height. Waffles aren’t topped with the usual amount of toppings we are used to getting. It’s said considering we love to support local businesses. If quality declines and you can afford to close the store front (which hasn’t been open for a long time) then I suggest you do in order to improve the quality of your product. You will continue losing customers if this continues. In response to the business’s comment- I do support local businesses however there are several other reviews on here which talk about quality, customer service, drivers, delays and wrong orders. They are all prior to my review being posted. This should give you the opportunity to improve yet it still continues. I love your business and we have ordered multiple times since moving to basildon last year and would like to continue doing so.

The portions are amazing and the food had always been incredible. The cookie dough especially is amazing and the milkshakes are great.

Ordered at 7:55 for a 9:15 delivery. Delivery updated by resteraunt to 9:25. Called at 9:35, was told driver was on route. Called again at 9:55, was told driver had just left again. Called again at 10:10, they called driver and he just turned up outside. Waffles cold, as expected.

Ordered from here Friday arrived on time though slightly cold. Fast forward to Sunday, my partner and I ordered for delivery at 9:15, 3 phones calls later and at 22:30 our order FINALLY arrives. Cold waffles, grainy ice cream. Lame excuse of a driver down yet that shouldn't be the customers issue when we called 30 mins previous and was told the order has definitely left. Will not be ordering from here again.

I ordered a waffle and a milkshake at about 21:10 and I didn’t receive my order till gone 23(11) o’clock at night. The delivery driver was super rude as well and when I got my order the waffle was stone cold and hard and I wouldn’t waste my money in this again

Had the strawberry and chocolate waffle, delicious! Caramel frappe, out of this world and if you need a sugar fix i absolutely recommend it!

Order turned up missing items. Restaurants answer, don't worry apply for refund. Definitely using different place next time.

My only complaint is that once again frozen strawberries were used for the sundae and were unable to be eaten

Haven't ordered for sometime due to a bad experience previously, kids wanted dessert so gave benefit of doubt and again wasted time. Paid for extra whipped cream which was pure liquid on arrival, waffles both hard and cold and crepe cold. I only live over the road so can't understand why everytime is so late and how the food is always so cold.

It was really nice until I found a black hair in my doughnut topping which put me off from finishing.
