Enjoyed the food which came out nice and hit, the staff were friendly and helpful with a nice atmosphere.

Went here for an early tea with my 6 year old Grandson. Had a lovely friendly welcome swiftly followed by menus. Lovely meal, staff checked with us that everything was OK. Children's menu extremely reasonable. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Food was delicious, hot, portion sizes were spot on and had decent amount of toppings although more base sauce would be nice. Staff were amazing and really couldn't be faulted.

Having tried pizza from other places, I was expecting something really delightful, especially for the price and name. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel the PizzaHut sensation, it didn’t live up to the hype. The taste didn’t match the cost—maybe I was just paying for the free salad.

Not been for a very long time. Now I know why. Out dated. Could not get my head round new paying system. Buffet very limited. Very helpful member of staff though.

A few days back, I had an exhausting day and I wanted to cheer myself up which is exactly why I wanted a pizza. I ordered the spicy GOAT pizza and garlic bread. Honestly I've never had a pizza like that ever 😩 it was too bad, it tasted like it was soaked in some sauce and only because I've selected the crest with cheese filling. I was able to finish it, I had to finish it because I don't like wasting food. Very bad experience. Honestly. Felt really bad that night.

Lovely staff, friendly and helpful espe with the children. It's always our go to place when deciding where to eat with small children

Overpriced, deals not accepted and poor overall experience which is a shame. I have memories from years back when pizza hut was well worth the visit.

Decided to go for a Pizza Hut, as I always remembered them being great when I was a kid. However, it turned into a bit of a disappointment. If there was a star for hygiene then it would have no stars. There was food sat at tables for at least 20 mins after people left, and food still under tables which clearly hadn’t been swept. We were there for around an hour and bit and it wasn’t cleaned in the time we were there, god knows how long it had been there for. The place itself felt greasy and unclean. When food finally turned up it looked okay until I took a slice and moved a piece of ham on my pizza that I noticed a piece of plastic underneath. I went straight up to the manager who swiftly sorted it and we got a refund on our meal which was very kind and a brand new pizza made.

Great pizza and good value for money. Can be very noisy.

Haven't had a pizza hut in 10 years and it didn't disappoint. Buffet good value for money and friendly and polite staff.

Pizza is burned and tasteless, £20 for 11 inch pizza is ridiculous, never getting Pizza Hut again

Had visited for a takeaway and since my fridge broke down, Callum ever so kindly placed my pepsi bottle in the restaurant freezer unit whilst I waited for my pizza. I was also offered some ice from the drinks dispenser the box for which was lined with waterproof paper to avoid - which no one likes - a soggy bottom!

Amazing service every time the lady manager is lovely food is always quickly served and hot.

Genuinely stunned by the good reviews of this place. Spent close to £40 for 2 teenie pizzas and a j20….Pizza Hut is really taking liberties. Yes prices have gone up everywhere but nothing like this. It was my first visit to Pizza Hut in years and I won’t be coming back with these ludicrous prices. You can go to Japes or Ecco for pizza in central London and pay literally 3 times less for better and bigger pizza.

The food is nice but but I got the family of four meal which also says it’s serves up to 4-6 people there wasn’t enough sides to go round you should put more in there as we got one of every thing from the sides

So today we went pizza hut for date night, not usually our first choice but fancied a change, food was good, but my stars are mostly for the women manager, she served us and gave brilliant service, well done keep up the good work, she had a couple of tricky customers in which she handled them very efficiently. My wife got my order wrong and the manager was lovely about it, offered to get me my origanal request but I stayed with the Hawaiian. Your a legend

Food was fine however had the wrong drink delivered. The driver was terrible i had in my notes that my children were asleep please call mobile, she banged the door down and when i politely said i did state in my notes my children are asleep she rolled her eyes like WHAT. I said well you knocked quite loudly, she rolled her eyes kissed her teeth and said 'Your'e welcome' then flounced off.' WOW.

I had a lovely afternoon in Pizza Hut with my family, the food was excellent as usual with pizza hut although it can be a bit expensive but they had some good deals to work with so we got a lot of food for our money!!! The staff at this branch are first class, really friendly and helpful!!! We will definitely go back again!

Visited with my family to celebrate daughter's 12th birthday on 5th April. Serviuce from Carla was absolutely first class. She was superb. I would recommend this particular Pizza Hut. Ask for Carla as you'll be guaranteed first class service. She is a credit and asset to Pizza Hut.

We went on Good Friday, 2 adults and a child. The food was brilliant. Every pizza was cooked well, with plenty of choice and plenty of toppings. We never had to wait for the pizza to come out, and they always made sure the pizza didn't run out. Service was fine and they made sure we had enough drinks, dips etc... no complaints at all

Everything was easy and accessible, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, the kids meal was cooked evenly, will definitely bring my family again.

I had my boys 8th birthday here and the staff were so helpful and friendly, the food was delicious and we all had a great time. Special shout to our waitress Stephanie who provided fantastic service.

We called in just after 5pm, the restaurant was very quiet. Me, my daughter and my grandson, who was celebrating his 17th birthday. We all had the meal offer, pizza, salad bar, side, drink and desert. The pizzas were nice and hot. We were served by Hayley, who was really great, makes all the difference. A thoroughly enjoyable visit!

Had a lovely meal and a great catch up with a friend. Our servers were really friendly and helpful. Only thing I didn't like was having to order everything from the QR code. We didn't order desserts or extra drinks because it meant putting it all through again and was such a faff.

Not a good experience at all. We arrived at a busy time but spent several minutes, along with other diners waiting for the pizzas to arrive. The salad bar was a bit of a mess, the staff tried their best but it was awful. When people left, tables were left uncleaned. Try as i might, I can't really find anything positive to say, it wasn't even cheap. We won't be going back. 🤨 👎 After a year I thought I'd give Pizza Hut another try. We arrived at 12 pm and as its school holidays it was packed with young families. The food had improved but there was still a feeling of chaos. Not the place for a quiet lunch but it has improved.

Disgraceful treatment. Ordered a pizza on the app whilst in their restaurant in Basildon. You cannot pay and order at the table just on the app the money was taken. They had a blip and the order did not go through the only way I could get a pizza was to purchase another one. It took me over six weeks to get my money back from head office. If I hadn’t of been with three children waiting for pizza, I would never have paid twice.

Absolutely disgraceful that I paid on their app inside the restaurant. The payment was taken & the order did not go through! I showed them proof that it has been taken from my bank and they insisted if I wanted a pizza I had to pay again and then take it up with their head office. Sitting there with three children waiting for pizza and being told that because they have experienced a problem with their ordering I had to pay again. Like an idiot I did as I did not want to cause a scene & make the children wait any longer. Then took me a further four weeks and over 10 phone calls to their customer service to get my refund on a pizza that I didn’t have.

The staff were brilliant and I prefer the pizza bases to anywhere else, plus the thought of the salad bar is always a draw. We never have to wait to either place the order or receive it. The ordering process has changed to online and the waiting staff were more than happy to assist and clearly state the changes in regards the this being a “no cash” restaurant

Lovely kind caring Compassionate Staff Immensely Brilliant

Disgusted with this place had to order online my mrs paid online and it glitched her order didn’t go through but the money left her account her and her child’s food didn’t come out but mine did and she showed them her statement and the manager assured her the money will ping straight back so made her pay again. It’s been 19 days since and the payment still hasn’t come back and Pizza Hut are making it extremely difficult and told her she should have sorted it sooner. This is disgusting and I am Not happy. £60’FOR A PIZZA!!!!!!!!! The manager was female she was clearly a liar because when I asked her if she had seen it happen before she said no, so how does she know for a fact the money would ping back she was a liar and didn’t want to fill a form herself clearly.

Popped in in the way back from seeing friends and it was great. Nice busy, good vice to the atmosphere and the food was great. The pizzas were wonderful and the salad bar full of fresh food. The staff were standout though, from the very first interaction at the door they were friendly and interesting. My son had some crayons and an activity poster and fell in love with the ice cream factory. Took the left over pizza home in a take away box. Good times, felt like the 90’s again.

Will die like wimpy and little chef , doesn't take cash , salad bar brimming with items and isn't rotated well enough. Shame really party time and entertainment was their thing and others do it far better now without mentioning a name . They need to adapt or like the titanic they'll sink.

A very pleasant experience. Fairly quiet just before three on a Thursday, but there was still time to get on the buffet and pizzas being put out for that (timed it well, as they just got replenished as we finished ordering).

Came here with my girls to celebrate my divorce. Dawn looked after us from start to finish. What a lovely, lovely lady. Don’t expect that much care at a Pizza Hut but we loved it. Thank you Dawn

Cold food. Over 35 minutes late. I asked the driver why so late. He never answered. Just shrugged and walked off. He was sitting round the corner for 30 mins.

The restaurant was not particularly busy, but we had to wait over 30 minutes for dessert and had to follow up with the staff to remind them that we still had ordered dessert.

Pizza was all squeezed in one corner of the box as the driver twisted them in his bag instead of holding them LIKE PIZZAs should be held the pizza boxes were stacked like books so of course our pizza was all mashed ... Can you tell your drivers to carry the pizzas as they should be carried or find another job where they can deliver.. Soup instead. Not ordering from you guys ever again, pizza was cold, elastic and expensive.. Paid 40 pounds for a cold corn on a cob and 2 pizzas for 1 servings.

Absolutely amazing experience at Pizza Hut Basildon this evening. The manager is AMAZING, she truly goes above and beyond for every customer. All the team are excellent, but she stood out as the star of the show. Thank you

The food is amazing and workers were really nice!

The food was lovely, the service was great and the place was really clean.

Server was helpful and done a good job.. she was on her own running the place. No deep pan available .... salad bar disgusting.. rotten carrots.. wilted spinach .. mayonnaise so old the spoon stood up in it.. couldn't eat it and when I complained to the very scruffy manager was told.. short staffed to deal with salad bar and you don't have to eat it !!!! Had a horrible feeling about the place as soon as I walked in.. looked scruffy and dirty.. no atmosphere and not a hint of christmas even though it was December. Will never visit again and avoid at all cost to others.

Like its app ordering. Pizza was a little slow coming out for the buffet. But really good value for money and pizza was hot, fresh and tasted really good.

My pizza was on time but was burn and wasn't the right order

It's the biggest restaurant that we are still going to back soon again one love from me James Laudat who can't wait to see you soon again with others housemates and eating out with family and friends so have a great meal AT pizza hut down festival.

The restaurant was busy ( we went on a Saturday) but still had a place for me and wife, did not have to wait in a queue. Staff was very helpful and food was in time. Most important thing is the Free Salad bar. It was so good and fresh. We liked it a lot. Pizza was delicious as we expected. We bought a large Pizza, it was more than enough for two. Recommend for a night out dinner if planning for a cinema too in festival leisure park.

Mac”n”cheese pizza is dam expensive but really good pizza melts were nice but no to keen on the parmesan cheese

The restaurant wasn’t busy but still had a cosy feel. Staff were helpful and food was spot on. Salad bar was inviting and fresh, a previous visit to a Harvester was not as good as salad bars go.

The food took 40 minutes to travel 10 minutes down the road. The food is stone cold and even the driver agreed but said I have to accept it and claim a full refund as he is not allowed to help. This is terrible service. Where did my food go for 40 minutes while the driver apparently had no signal! He didn't even have a just eat app on his phone or anything to confirm anything. This is terrible and I want a full refund

New online DIY scan a code ordering sucks but the staff made up for that by helping to take our order and make sure our visit was efficient. Drop the QR codes and employ more like the decent staff you already have

Staff were great, couldn’t do enough. I eat out a lot and and they were fantastic. Food quality was the best I’ve had in Pizza Hut to be honest. Sound over the top but credit where credit is due!!! Will definitely be returning.

The staff during my visit were outstanding. Friendly, helpful and attentive. They didn't stop... if they weren't helping a customer they were making sure the buffet and salad bar were fully stocked or cleaning the restaurant.

Visited again on Sunday 3 September. Service was a bit chaotic, we had at least 2 different servers, even though the restaurant was less than half full. The unlimited Soda machine had almost all of the flavours unavailable. We ordered a shared meal deal with the salad bar. The waiter came back to tell us that one of our starters was unavailable, so we had to have garlic bread. Then after waiting about 20 minutes, they brought the starters and the pizza at the same time. We had about 20 minutes left until the start of our movie, so we asked for the deserts to take out. We had to ask for plastic spoons. Overall the service was very chaotic and slow. The food was Not value for money, and several items that we wanted were unavailable !
