Excellent. Highly recommend this burger bar . Staff very helpful and courteous . My first try here and I was truly impressed . Best burger I have had in ages . Keep it up. 😃

Came here recently for the first time to go for drinks with friends. Really nice inside (though much smaller than it looks from the outside!), and staff were friendly too.

Great food, reasonably priced friendly welcoming staff

Myself and my partner how now become regulars eating at Ballingdon Valley and we are never disappointed. It was my bday and on arrival we were greeted by the lovely Zaynal who was very professional and attentive. Zaynal guided us through the wine list and we were very pleased with the bottle he recommended. Our waiter Kahled has always been very friendly and kind and has also helped me making choices of different dishes to try and also explains the ingredients in each dish and how mild or hot they maybe. Our food has always been excellent and we highly recommend, we come from Bury just for their service and great food. Thank you for a lovely bday and dinner we will definitely be seeing you soon. Had the most amazing dinner the staff are so friendly and helpful the landlords are just great. I love bringing my friends and family for dinner here. Also went up on Saturday when there was music just so much fun would recommend to everyone it’s a must try!

Bhajee was hard and cold and Rogan was spicy. It’s never a spicy dish. My wife could not eat it. It’s a shame as they have been very good up until now it this has spoilt it.

Went for sunday lunch with the in -laws & everything looked good when you see the menu saying that they think their sunday dinner is as good as anywhere, unfortunately NOT, forget the size of the starter as the main was'nt much bigger, ranging from around £16 to £19 on what meat you wanted, you could also pay extra to have 2, 3 or even all 4 meats on offer, i thought great , i'll have beef & turkey thinking that if i paid extra i would get extra meat, this was not the case, also being told there would be plenty of veg as well i thought great, i love a large sunday dinner, my main course came & i was amazed, 2 very small slices of meat, 1 very thin slice of beef with quite a bit of fat round the outside & 1 small slice of turkey, 2 small bits of very slushy brocolli , 1 piece of roasted carrot & 1 piece of roasted parsnip + 3 smallish roast potatoes, as i was with the in-laws i didnt kick up much of a fuss as they are locals, they did agree with me though, i would have thought with paying extra for 2 meats i would have got more than 1 small slice of each, also i went to pay the bill & instead of going over itvwith a fine tooth combe, i just wanted to pay for it as quickly as possible as a surprise for the in-laws, we gave them £20 tip as i normally leave a tip & i'd got nothing smaller, wish i had'nt as when we got home to derbyshire my wife had a look at the bill & told me they had put around £16 on the bill as a service charge, daylight robbery, thats the last time i will go to this place again as it was one of the worst sunday dinner experiences ive ever had, wish we could have got in the mermaid at ellington as the sunday dinner there is 20 times better than the snooty tavern 🤯

Hours are wrong on Google. Says open until 22.00, but closed at 16.00. Real shame. Was looking forward to it as gone past many times.

We always stop at this place as a family on our way to our caravan and have breakfast but today we didn't need breakfast but just the toilet and it was disgraceful that they had a gatekeeper for the toilets and you could not use them until you bought something. I saw so many families with kids having no other choice but to buy something just to use the toilet. It's best to be transparent and take down the signs you currently have and put up some that state PAY TOILETS FROM 1.00. Coming here for breakfast never had this issue but today saw that this is the kind of business that makes parents pay for their kids to use the toilet.... Such a shame.

Lovely cosy pub, friendly locals & staff. Good selection of beers. The Sunday dinner looked delicious! Will definitely be returning soon.

First time here and what a great place, food was lovely and plentiful, both waitresses were brilliant, well done.

I stayed there 23rd for wedding anniversary, well it’s living on the past , fine dinning restaurant , well that’s a joke they have no fine dining, It started with the room we walked in thought that’s nice 4 poster but there was cobwebs and dust on the bed , went to the bathroom there was cobwebs everywhere, there is no excuse for that , the teabags weren’t enough for 2 people , they hadn’t touched the room for I don’t know how long , There was a knock on the door had to order the meal I was very disappointed a choice of 4 meals , if we hadn’t booked there was nowhere to go without driving , Saturday they were closed for food

Been coming here for many years now Staff and service and food are excellent Out of all of the other all day breakfasts I’ve had, this is still the absolute number one, hats off to the staff and the chefs, all totally faultless, kind regards to you all, take care, see you soon Mark from Billericay 😃👍
