Staropramen on draft which is a bonus. Comfortable courtyard with plenty of opportunity to watch sports without it being intrusive if you're not interested.

Bar staff and locals are all very chatty especially if you have a dog with you. Poker on Tuesday night's in the back room. Beer garden is well presented with some leather sofa and picnic tables. Only been a few times. Expect to be stared at if you go to the little side bar from the older locals

We came here on a Saturday for some food and drinks. Owner told us no food and to be fair, the place didn't feel welcoming at all with a general smell of smoke and a lack of cleanness...

It is a wonderful place where I have spent the most enjoyable times since the day I started living in Kesgrave. The owner, the staff and the whole team are wonderful people. You will definitely feel happy here...

Friendly local, couldn't ask for a better pub.

Great sports bar one side and old beamy bar the other side with always fantastic atmosphere at weekends and always something going on in the week pool darts ect. I love this pub

Really good little local pub. Good selection of beer, still a pub not a restaurant. They do occasionally do food, but mainly its a pub with a welcoming atmosphere and a couple of outdoor seating areas. Dogs are welcome. There are some themed nights as well.

They have doom bar. What more can anyone want?

Was a friendly little pub. Good pricing. BUT... Since Covid i have to edit my previous post and change that perception and 4 stars. The landlord was always a 'aquired taste' in so far as I've never met a more curmudgeonly specimen of humanity. It got to the point where I could not take the dismissive rudeness anymore. I've not been back in months. Ive since found out from other landlords and punters alike...he's known for it. SO; Only go if you want to be abused by a miserable clown!

Went with a couple of mates for a pint, nice evening, entertainment with karaoke, done a couple myself, nice pub

Absolutely fantastic bar staff. Manager debs is bubbly friendly and takes great pride in her pub and food is out of this world fantastic Sunday roast choice of 3 meats and all fresh vegetables.

Very strange unwelcoming experience - popped in for a quick pint but told couldn't be served as no reservation despite there being empty tables not booked for 1hr+ Guess it is a pub only for locals.

Friendly staff, brilliant Chardonnay, Guinness too, outside garden with to televisions, it was quiet on the volume. Pizza served on weekends. Beef burgers on week days. Covid-19 spaced tables.

Visited for a charity quiz night. Lovely home cooked food.

Beautiful and cozy. Music on weekends is a good mix of old school to latest hit numbers. Staff and regulars are very friendly and together create a very positive atmosphere. Good screens in their newly renovated sports lounge, where they show major games of that day.

Stopped here having done the Great East Run, so was really in need of a pint and some food. Had a top roast dinner and a nice cold pint served by welcoming staff in a traditional pub setting, proper hit the spot!

Good community pub with an ok selection of lagers (ales could be better). Karaoke on Friday through Sunday is a good laugh, with some good regular singers. Supportive of local businesses and events, as well as sports teams. Had many a good night here.

A real traditional pub serving beer and offering a wide range of entertainment in the forms of Karaoke and Quiz nights. There are TVs to watch sports on and the is often an event going on at some point or other.

This must be the clickiest pub in England, if not it is in Suffolk. If your not a local, your definitely not welcome. The Landlord is very rude, opininated, racist... just a tip, don't in there if your a celtic fan! You would think the landlady would be different, but she's arrogant and very full of herself. We went there on the odd occasion as it was advertising fresh hot meals....big mistake!! Just beware of the dogs when you enter, there very viscious and not child friendly. Btw, they don't serve food there!! There was dog hair everywhere, and the landlady was sitting at a table with her dressing gown on and curlers in her hair. Not a pleasant sight to say the least. As your a stranger, everyone looks at you, I can imagine this place to be full of gossipers and back stabbing people. Will never go in this place again, and wouldn't recommend it to anyone! Stay away
