We were in Southwold for the day and wanted a tasty lunch, we had seen the cafe a couple of weeks ago when on holiday and the reviews looked good The cafe certainly didn’t disappoint, we sat at a table under the verandah overlooking the lake with our dog and ordered jacket potatoes with cheese and beans, side salad and coleslaw - it was a beautiful sunny mild day (18C) The potatoes were beautifully cooked with a fluffy hot inside filled with cheese and beans and the salad had a really tasty vinaigrette on it, plus a cappuccino and a tea Happy and helpful staff, serving really good food at a very competitive price made our day and we will return on our next visit to Southwold Thanks to all staff

Brancaster Staithe is a beautiful Harbour with free National Trust carpark and a loo . The Crab Shack sits in the carpark with daily fresh seafood in tubs and sandwiches. Delicious an beautifully presented run by very friendly people. Much better value than some other fresh fish outlets along the coast.

Absolutely love the Potting Shed!! The staff are so friendly and helpful, and the food is always yummy and good value with generous portions. The specials menu changes regularly and often reflects seasonal produce so if you are a regular visitor (like me!) then you have new options to choose from. On this visit, we had a black bean salad with halloumi and a chicken tikka burger. Both were delicious!! I also like to spend some time having a look around the lovely garden centre afterwards too :)

Good fish and chip shop good choice of food friendly staff. The reason I dropped a star is the chips are soggy and very greasy, I have visited a few times and normally have chicken sushi but decided to try the battered sausage and chips batter was nice and crispy and the sausage was very pale. I would like to advise that if you could cook your sausage then batter it it would look better which in turn would make it look more appealing and the chips just need a couple of minutes more to crisp them up which in turn should drain better. I found that this chippy was hard to get in and out of with my wheelchair but if you order over the phone they will bring your food out to you. Great customer service.

We arrived early for our reservation and were warmly greeted and quickly shown to our table, where we were to meet my brother and his wife. Since it was lunchtime on a Thursday, the restaurant wasn't busy. We were offered drinks, which we happily accepted. Once we were all ready to order, the staff gave us a detailed account of the menu, highlighting that many of the dishes were homemade on the premises. We decided to share a combined starter for four, which was delicious, freshly cooked, and beautifully presented. The main course was also very good and enjoyed by everyone. Although this place is a bit remote, it is worth visiting for a great dining experience.
