Northend Cafe in St Edmundsbury

The quality of service is usually good and then today I met the owners and they charged me for an extra tea with my breakfast of which I usually get for free but the owners was insistence I will no longer be using the business I recommend using the carver cafe in town better service and more for your money been using this business for like 2 years maybe more tbh and spent thousands with them so to be treated like this is the last straw for me cups ant even clean

best cafe ive ever had. been 3 times now for breakfast, food is really good quality, not the awful stuff you find at places like a dobbies cafe for example. staff super nice and friendly, will definitely return again

Really good value cafe, food was hot and a good sized portion for the price. Staff were friendly and helpful, I have to say the coffee was excellent and was included in the price of the breakfast. Would have given 5 stars for the food, would personally of preferred a more premium sausage to give it top marks.

Nice cafe with loads of breakfast options. Poached eggs could be runny, roasts and mushrooms were tasty. Tables and Toilet were clean too

The best food I have ever tasted, it was all freshly cooked, the plates are BIG and full. (I couldn't eat anything for the rest of the day). The service was brilliant. I will definitely taking all my family and friends there. The price is good. Fantastic value for money. The place is very clean. You should go and try it.

You get what you pay for here, have never had a bad meal. Real nice community and family feel to it. Staff are always happy to see you and so helpful.

Went for breakfast. ( They even had marmite for my fried bread) Only gripe I had was the cup of coffee was not big enough.

Just had breakfast here after a wedding the night before and what a difference breakfast has made for us. The full English fantastic plenty on the plate and tasty food with great customer service. When back up to see family later in year will be calling in again.

The food was slow coming and was terrible Cheap chips and the sausage was terrible the whole thing was a waste of money and absolutely expensive £10 for a plate rubbish and the atmosphere is terrible

Well situated next to the bus station. Had cups of tea and hot Chocolate and we were made very Welcome. Nice clean place with a good menu!

The food was great and the price was reasonable The staff were friendly it's not a small place so it doesn't have that cozy vibe like some cafés. Not an issue for us we like to order food and eat it without the fuss so we found it perfect . Staff were great could see they were interacting with the regulars and making a fuss of them was good to see. So to paraphrase we enjoyed the food, we enjoyed the fact you could be as interactive or not with the staff and would come back when I am next in the area.

I wanted to give my Asian girlfriend her first proper English breakfast experience and this place didn't disappoint, I was sceptical that this place wasn't on an industrial estate. But the service and the food was spot-on. I got the mega breakfast but swapped out the burger for bacon. Definitely worth the price and fast service.

We live 53 miles away but always come to The North End Cafe as soon as we arrive.

We were served quickly and pleasantly.

I came here the last time I was in Bury St Edmunds and had some very good Cheese Cake. The cafe is also nice and roomy with lots of seats. It's relatively clean as well.

If you want friendly staff, fast, hot, freshly cooked breakfast and food, Northend is the place to go. when in bury st edmunds give this lovely cafe a go you won't be disappointed.

Amazing breakfast. Never had blood pudding before and it was a great first. The mega breakfast and the full English where both really good.

We had a late breakfast here. A typical café. The tables are well spaced out, food was good and prices sensible. They were very busy, but the waitress was helpful and cheerful. I would certainly recommend this café.

Great food and great service. Food always comes out hot and not long after ordering, they are happy to add and take things off the set menu to accommodate kids or fussy eaters. Great place, we come here a lot. Only been in the mornings for breakfast. Bit of a workers/builders cafe so can be a bit loud at times.

Dropped in to get a couple of naughty midweek bacon sarnies. Because of yellow lines everywhere had to let them know that I'd come back to collect sarnies , no worries the lovely lady said I'll bring them out to your car. Great service and the bacon was great to. 👌

Lovely clean cafe with down to earth prices

This is such a place to go amazing food ever time but more we have two old parents with wheelchairs and great access and always made welcome.

The one of the best breakfast I had in here in a long time for 2 days. The food served is very accurate to the pictures displayed in menu, lovely service. Checked in review before going in and highly recommend it, try full breakfast 😋😋
