With Southend having limited options for halal dining, this is a good choice. The experience the first time I visited was a nice. The food is decent, and the staff on shift were very friendly and welcoming, leaving me wanting to come back. However, my second visit was less impressive. I went with a group of 15 to celebrate my brother's birthday, and the server seemed visibly irritated, both in his facial expressions and tone of voice. Despite this, I wouldn't discourage others from visiting, as the server might have just had a bad day. Overall, I think it's worth trying for a casual meal.

I have been to stop the world before and had a good experience however I was disappointed with my experience today, me and my partner came in for brunch it was busy but no busier than usual, I ordered a smoothie which I was disappointed with as it was warm when I got it so not very enjoyable and then we waited an hour for our food to come, which I just think is way too long especially for breakfast and we only ordered scrambled egg on toast and avacado on toast, didn’t get an apology for our wait or anything really so didn’t have the best experience

Wait staff were brash and rude. Asked for a straw, didn't get one, Wasn't explained there was a lunch menu or what differences there are in the main or lunch menu. Empty plates sat in front of us for 30 minutes. Asked for a dessert menu, never arrived. Food was okay, service was some of the worst I've received. Won't be returning though it's apparent we wasn't welcome in the first place

Excellent service. We had a party of 11 arrive, without booking. The service was fast, the food was hot and delicious and the price was reasonable. Our group cleared their plates. We were very pleased with the visit and would definitely recommend. Thank you, to all the team.

We visited with friends on Sunday at 14.00 having booked a table in advance. On arrival the restaurant was still very busy, but we were seated reasonably quickly by a very pleasant waitress. Drinks and orders taken, we all opted for the medium cod and...

Very quick and convenient take away. Unfortunately the food was not as good as we are used to from here about 2 years ago. The chicken tikka massala used to be a deep red and full of flavour but it was pale orange and very mild like korma. The balti was very tangy and fruity not at all how it used to be. The chicken tikka was a bit dry but still flavoursome. The naan breads and lamb biryani were very good. The rice was white with a few bits of spice but not your usual pilau that you pay a high price for. All in all feel we spent a high price for a sub standard meal.
