Visited this restaurant with my Sister and enjoyed a lovely meal. Service and food excellent. Only gripe was the Music was too loud . And genre was not appropriate. Some background Indian music would have been nice. Couldn't have a conversation as just too loud although waiter did turn it down when we asked. Otherwise a great restaurant. Will visit again.
5 Stars - An Unforgettable Experience!
Indian Chef offers an absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. The authenticity of the dishes shines through every bite - rich, vibrant flavours that instantly transport you across South Asia. Each dish is crafted with such care and respect for tradition, making the meal feel genuinely special.
The service is equally impressive. The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do, adding a personal touch to the entire experience. They make you feel like a valued guest rather than just another customer.
The overall atmosphere is welcoming and beautifully immersive, creating the perfect setting to enjoy the incredible food. Every visit feels like a celebration of culture and flavor. I can’t recommend Indian Chef highly enough — truly a five-star gem!
My partner & I visited on the bank holiday Monday. Huckleberries have quite the reputation for their vegan options & they did not disappoint today.
We ordered an oat flat white, a black americano, a piece of the Biscoff blockie & a slice of the battenburg. Everything was delicious & in hindsight, I wish I'd ordered a second slice of the battenburg!
There's plenty of seating with extra tables downstairs & out the front of the building. All the drinks can be made vegan which is amazing (next time I'll definitely be getting a milkshake - they have over 30 syrup flavours). 😍
We will definitely be back! 💚
Such a lovely cafe. This was our first time here and we went in for a little sweet treat. We had the chocolate sundae and it was absolutely amazing. We will definitely be going back for more. All the prices seemed very reasonable.
Amazing Thai food. The beef jungle curry had big tender chunks of beef and the sauce a nice chilli kick and depth of flavour. The prawn dish had plenty of plump prawns and a tangy sauce. The free prawn crackers were not the white plain ones but the tastier (in my opinion) red ones with a zingy dip. Definitely will order again.
We had a superb Sunday lunch , I had the pork belly roast which was amazing as to was my wife’s beef brisket . Attentive and efficient polite staff with a buzzing atmosphere. Definitely will return to sample more delicious dishes.
Quite simply an absolute gem outside of the city centre. Don’t hesitate to make the short journey outside of all the fuss to reach this intimate, authentic, and truly unique dining experience. The team, who both prepare and serve, are deeply knowledgeable and very hospitable about their food. The tasting menu is most worth it and quite the value for the offering. We were three States-side guests and couldn’t have been happier. Enter with an open palette, a desire to be surprised, and you can’t leave anything but pleased. Well done Fin Boys team!
My wife took me out for my birthday meal at lunch time ( so no kids🤣 ) had wonderful meal my steak was cooked just right my had a lovely lasagna which we’ve took some home with us lovely service nice and quiet as Friday early lunch time just perfect for the 2 of us ❤️
We were a party of 10 celebrating joint 90th and 99th family birthdays for Sunday lunch. Nothing can be faulted from the excellent service to the piping hot food served promptly even though there was another very large celebration being catered for in the function room. A Happy Birthday banner and balloons had been put across the back of our table and the fact that we took our own cakes was accommodated without question, photo's taken and birthday greeting sung by the staff who even facilitated moving tables in the garden to allow us to park closer to the entrance for ease of the occupants of the car. A truly outstanding pub!
