The best restaurants in East of England

Food is excellent, price reasonable service a little bit slow but it was Saturday night and they were very busy and very polite and professional! Staff were very helpful.

We were early and staff were very accommodating. Food is good and there was a large selection on the daily specials board. Service was friendly and not intrusive.

Last pub visit for 2024. On aarivaknthw beer choice was smaller than expected but during my time there new beers were popping up on the beer list. A good choir in the end. Food, cheesy chips, was probably the worst I have had recently

I came for breakfast. The server was accommodating and the poached eggs perfect. They seemed a bit out of their depth over the avocado, even though it's on the menu and was delivered. Very cheap and the locals I spoke to in the neighbourhood, all spoke highly of them

La comida estaba deliciosa y mi pequeña estaba muy contenta con su comida, afirmando que estaba rellena antes del postre, pero no podía resistir el tentador carrito de helados. Iré de nuevo.

I have been here a few times this year and found a good selection of food...actually spoilt for choice. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and helpful.....the restaurant itself I felt authentic and felt I was away on holiday abroad.....I liked it so much I have booked our Christmas 🎄 get together for this year......and look forward to a great atmosphere 😊

What a fabulous and welcoming family Italian restaurant. Everyone so friendly and helpful. We had the set 2 course menu. Good varied options, big portions, delicious! Didn’t feel service was rushed as can often happen when busy. You can tell they take a pride in what they do. Will definitely be back.

I had ham, egg and chips, and there was too much ham for me to eat! My husband had the curry, which came with rice and chips. He had never come across curry and chips before, but maybe it's a 'thing' in Watford. My mother couldn't manage all her ham either, even though she had a small portion, and they kindly gave her a box to take it home in. Those who had puddings said they were delicious, especially the waffles. The person who served us was warm and friendly, and the food arrived surprisingly quickly. The only downside was accessibility. My 98 year old mother managed the three steps with help, but it wasn't easy. There is also a step in the doorway..I don't think there is much they can do about it, given the age of the building, but it wouldn't be suitable for a wheelchair user. We will definitely return.

Marco’s food and service is absolutely first class, in a lovely setting too. Try the coconut prawns - you won’t be disappointed. Fantastic restaurant.

Absolutely amazing every time, we've had cosy 2 people meals and had a large family meal (20+) it was catered for in amazing fashion. I can't recommend this restaurant enough
