Sunrise Cafe in Ipswich

We were recommended by a friend and it turned out to be an amazing surprise. Food was delicious and fresh. Great turkish breakfast.

It's wonderfull place speacily from Turkey people. Also, if you interest traditional Turkish breakfast and food, you must be can visit this place. Everything is perfect. I love it.

I love the Sunrise Cafe - what a gem this place is! I enjoy coming here and trying the various Turkish specialties. My favourite is the 'breakfast - 1', which you can see in the first picture. Very rich and packed with different flavours! I also enjoyed the 'gözleme' - a kind of savoury pancake stuffed with various things, including cheese and also the lovely, freshly baked bread with hummus. I love listening to the traditional Kurdish music in the background, and for a moment being transported in far away lands. The staff working at the cafe is very kind and welcoming. I think we are so lucky to have a place like this in Ipswich. Can't wait for the next breakfast! Thank you guys for being here!

Felt like a turkish breakfast for the first time in years and that's exactly what I got. A plethora of dishes along with a basket of fresh bread along with seasonings (incl chilli) on the table to flavour accordingly. Freshly cooked to order and above all.... tasted great. Will definitely be back

Delicious food that is reasonably priced. There is a wide selection of Turkish cuisine and bread is made fresh daily. Portions are very generous. Excellent and quick customer service!!

Had a lovely breakfast here! The bread was super fresh and the ladies very friendly. Service wasn’t the fastest and it’s no frills but it’s a lovely local spot and the food was genuinely great; appreciated the fresh mushrooms, spinach and tomato in my “sunrise breakfast”. Also had a cheese borek which was very plain but an affordable lunch on the go

I would definitely recommend this cafe for any dish , every single dish they cook fresh and bread was amazing.please do try this cafe . You have both options here vegetarian which I had and non veg . Do try their dishes Cheers !!!

The food and the service here is absolutely fantastic. We were a group of 15 and had Turkish breakfast, it was delicious and everyone of us were completely satisfied and will all be coming back soon and telling all our friends and family about it. We were all stuffed to the brim and didn't need to eat for the rest of the day!

Fresh nutritious and delicious breakfast, good cappuccino, very friendly staff. Have to point out the menu on google review is out of date (actual menu is much better and no bacon 👍)

Its an OK breakfast, just about fills the gap, good price but not large portions.Sausage came uncooked in the middle so I asked the cook to cook it a little more.

Great food, large portions, great value. Only problem was that there were loads of fruit flies buzzing about.

Always a good meal, not to sure about the veggie selection, I'm an avid meat eater. Friendly staff make the place inviting.

Just stopped for a quick coffee pre ITFC match. Great coffee at a fraction of the price of Costa. Recommended.

Simple but very tasty food, always service with a smile. If you want good food cooked to order come here. If you're picky and find fault with everything go somewhere else. Great little café. Nuff said.

Been here a few times to see if it gets better but doesn't had scampi first time like bullets second time had garlic chicken so overcooked and dry they need someone who can cook English food and we'll won't go again

Couldn't get to our usual haunts , so tried the Sunrise . Didn't expect much but was pleasantly surprised . Food pretty good , service exceptional , price was fair . Other than slightly overcooked hash browns and weak coffee this would of been very good . I understand that you "pay" for good coffee but I think with their excellent service and friendly demeanor they could get away with charging extra for a premium coffee. If you're hungry, in Ipswich and want a good breakfast try these guys 8/10 , definitely worth a visit

You have to love this unpretentious cafe. Huge menu of what I call traditional cafe food, all tasty and great value. Portions are good and the desserts and milk shakes are awesome too. Dont be fooled by where it is or outside looks, its such a friendly place and way better than some of local pub fayre. You wont regret a visit, its old school but personally thats part of its quality.

I've frequented this establishment a fair few times now and I'm always deeply satisfied by the end of my experience. Great value for money, food tastes great, super friendly staff and a great, family like, greasy spoon atmosphere. Give it a go!

Had a lovely breakfast/ brunch. Nice big portions and very good prices. The choice of children’s options were very good too. Was also nice to be able to sit outside in the sunshine. Highly recommend for cheap and cheerful meal.

I gave the Roast Beef dinner a try today and was not disappointed. Five different portions of veg, roast and mash potato, Yorkshire pudding loads of beef and thick tasty gravy. Huge plate of food served piping hot, lovely food and good value for money. Superb staff and a clean friendly cafe. Recommended.

Excellant coffee unlike many other cafes in Ipswich. Friendy staff with good food. They always have a choice of brown or white bread and nice selection of different flavoured teas.

I've walked past this cafe for years and never been inside. I've missed a little gem here. Nice friendly staff, proper cafe inside. With all the swanky coffee shops around cafes like this are hard to find. I had a lovely breakfast, 2 bacon, large sausage, egg, tomato's, beans, 2 toast, bubble and squeak and a large mug of coffee. Huge plate of food nicely presented and piping hot. I wasn't to sure about the bubble and squeak but once i tried it, it was very nice creamy and tasty and one of your 5 a day. I will not be walking past my new favourite cafe again.

Not quite as good as Jack's Cafe, but decent food at low prices cooked well. And, you can have breakfast any time of the day, what more can you ask for?

I occasionally come into this café for something to eat, as it is my favourite café in Ipswich. Would recommend lots of people visit, as they do lots of food and drinks, as well as yummy puddings.

They sell a wide variety of food at good prices, some of the meals come with a tea or coffee included in the price. If there is something on a meal you don't like they will substitute it for something else. I have been going there for the occasional breakfast after work for a few years now and have always had good service and lovely food.

Had a lovely takeaway breakfast of Sausage, Bacon and Beans. I was stuffed because they do big portions, the sausages were very big and it was all super tastyThe prices are very fair and service was great

I have been to Sunrise multiple times with my girlfriend and on my own in the last few months. I went yesterday to grab some breakfast as you do on a Saturday after a busy week and the service was fantastic as always.Very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere; even though Memz and his team are always busy they never make you feel like you can't have a conversation with them, followed by some banter.Staff are very kind and the food is good quality indeed. Sometimes you can go to a Café and your food is swimming in grease, but not Sunrise! It's a lovely little number.

Not having eaten here for a while I was pleased to see nothing had changed. Good food as ever, served in a very clean environment quickly and efficiently by pleasant helpful staff.

Been going for over a week now, so not just a one off visit and every one of my meals has been spot on. I cant eat certain foods, explained to the chef and he was more than happy to swap things around even on my first visit, which some cafes don't like so good example of customer service.Would recommend this cafe, good quality food at decent prices and quick friendly service so cant really ask for more from a cafe!

Honestly the best greasy spoon in Ipswich, I love breakfast! Huge menu and orders are sorted quickly. You won't be waiting for your food for long. Perfect for the morning after the night before :-D

Popped in here for breakfast with my husband. Staff were friendly and polite. The food was good and the coffee was lovely too! Good value for money, would definitely go again. 5* hygiene rating too.
