No salad or sauces offered, meat cut fairly thick. Bit disappointing

We had some good chicken kebabs from here.

Food was good but pizza was abit undercooked and the donor meat was overcooked. Nice guys though and they were very polite. Would still eat there again.

As a vegetarian, I only buy pizza from here, and I have never been disappointed with any of the food I have had over the past few years. The veggie pizzas are very tasty and have plenty of toppings and the cabbage salad is truly excellent, so crunchy and great flavour. Not sure why it's pink, but it's great eating. The staff have always been friendly, so the whole experience is a good one. Well done for keeping the standards so high over the past few years!

Hands down best chicken kebab I’ve ever had. Very fresh, very hot, juicy seasoned chicken. They aren’t shy on sauce either which is another bonus

A wonderful little gem in the heart of Norfolk. Happy to say that I had my first decent kebab here since I arrived in the county. Everything was very clean and the staff were also very welcoming!

Ordered a lamb shish. Awful lamb dry and they cut it into small bits. Salad has seen better days and the garlic mayo taste like cheap rubbish. Food for peasants. Never again.

I use to like it, staff is nice ... was well served, now the kebab box has less meet, sauce and salad on side was fine but now we paid for both, i dont like my salad mix with hot meet. Unfortunately they changed to much and they dont do deliveries so we have to choose another place. Sorry.

I have always used on line ordering & payment, every time the food has been ready for collection by the 20 minutes as stated as I drive 9 miles to get the food. You are served by friendly staff. I usually order the family kebab feast which has plenty for 4 people, a mixture of doner, lamb shish, chicken shish & kofte with chips, salad, 4 pita breads, a couple of sauces plus a 1.5ltr bottle of pop. A great value meal of good quality that's really tasty 😋. Their garlic bread & pizzas are yummy too. Enjoy, highly recommended.

I ordered online chicken kebab with salads and garlic sauce Plus Orange juice and i receve dry pita with chicken with no sauce and no drink, no salads at all! I called them but guy on phone told me i made a mistake when ordering food, really? £8 for a dry chicken in a plain pita? What about drink i order and got on my ticket? Pathetic! If you are to busy to check your orders hire extra person! My sons clean nappie is more wet that that plain piece if cardobe....

We were passing through Fakenham one evening after visiting friends. We are a family of four who couldn't decide what we fancied to eat - everyone wanted something different! We came across the Marmaris Grill which had something for everyone - kebabs, burgers, fried chicken, scampi, pizzas etc. Handily it was right opposite a car park too. The staff were so friendly. The food was all cooked from scratch in front of you. It was utterly delicious and of great quality. Reasonably priced too with big portions. They even offered us a complimentary cheesy garlic bread pizza. It's a shame that we live so far away, otherwise this would most definitely become a regular haunt of ours! If we ever visit Fakenham again, then we will definitely return to the Marmaris Grill.

Never had a bad take away from here. Order online and normally ready within 5 minutes of the expected time. Chicken kebabs are amazing! Reasonably priced.

I ordered kofta kebab and a calzone. The meat is fresh and cooked on the grill in view. Included were two sauces and salad. Both kebab and calling were delicious. Previously ordered meat feast pizza. Lots of cheese and toppings. Staff were very friendly and polite. They had a screen for safety. Cash only. Sanitiser on counter to use after handling change. First Class experience. Will be back.

Absolutely superb! Ran by mature and respectful, polite people and my Meat Feast pizzas was out of this world! My wife had the vegetarian pizza and she said it was to die for. And we travel all over and eat in many places all over the world and this is the best pizza I’ve ever had. Better than a pizza I had at Lake Garda Italy. I swear! And a free garlic bread to boot. Fabulous! Thanks guys. 🙂

What's not to like? This little kebab/pizza outlet is bar far the best on town. How many pizza can you get? Monday's the best with 2for1 on any pizza, and when they come with 3 extra toppings free, o think it would be criminal not to try their menu on Mondays. The guys, who are mostly Turkish nationals, are always freindly and pleasant and ready with a quick chat if they are not busy. The only let down, in my opinion, is that they do not deliver. Collection only, but it is really worth calling ahead with your order or by using their website you can place and order ready 15 mins later or you can if you turn up and order and wait.

This is, with our doubt the best takeaway in town! Portions are great, quality is superb and service is always the best! Out of all the takeaways in Fakenham these guys have to be the best for pizzas! Since the old management came back this place has gone from strength to strength! They look after repeat custom and have some of the best offers in town! Yes they don’t deliver unlike the other one star food hygiene rated place in town but you can order online for collection and get 10% off! Defiantly recommend the Chicago pizza every time!

We regularly have a kebab from the marmaris and usually, service is good, portions are fair and you get what you order. Today was as though it was a completely different takeaway. 4 small pieces of chicken in my kebab, a chicken and kofte also ordered which was thw smae size as the regular kebabs previously. Limp salad with no peppers as specifically asked for and accepted and half warm chips.... What has happened.. Not worth the £15 we paid at all....

Deceptive description. I drove 20 miles to get there only to found out that they don’t serve halal food as they mentioned. Sad!!!

Had the worst treatment and experience of any outlet in Fakenham. Have known and been a loyal friend to the previous owners of this place. But tonight I was treated with total disrespect ... my usual smile was simply met with the most awful misery and a 'couldn't care less attitude'. Had no choice but to cancel the majority of my order and will definitely be giving them my custom again. Disappointed isn't the word !!

We were staying fairly nearby in Wells-Next-The-Sea for a little weekend break & fancied our favourite, Sunday night lamb & chicken shish keebab fix, but failed to locally locate a venue of that type; so good old google & tripadvisor came to the rescue as we stumbled across the Marmaris Grill, in Fakenham, about 8 miles away, along never-ending, dimly lit, country lanes. But boy, was it worth the drive, ohhhhh yesss!!! Firstly, we were thrilled to spot the 5/5 hygiene rating, proudly displayed in the window & we were immediately welcomed in a super friendly & helpful fashion by the takeaway team; there’s no eat-in & no delivery! The meat keebabs & various salad ingredients, including red cabbage were neatly presented within the chilled fridge, display counter & everything looked really appetising & of superb quality. One chicken & lamb shish combo with salad & chilli sauce & one mixed meat keebab (chicken, lamb, donner, kofta with salad was the order of the day, with a portion of fries & whilst we waited, we chatted to a lovely couple whom split their time between France & UK & loved hearing their tales of adventure across the water. The meat was all beautifully chargrilled, really tender & flavoursome; the chilli sauce packed a punch but didn’t blow your head off & the salad was really fresh, plentiful & crisp & most helpfully, the toasted Pitta had been wrapped separately from the salad & the meat to avoid a soggy bottom! This was particularly helpful given our 10/15 minute return journey to devour our late night feast We would highly recommend & definitely return when next up on the Norfolk coast; it was all round excellence & satisfied the most seasoned, keebab followers! Thank you xx

Best chicken wraps i have ever had

Had my first kebab in nearly 20years here had the mixed special it was huge and the meat was lovely very tender, service was polite and the price was good 100% recommend here. Just to add a good choice as well and the salad was fresh and tasty.

Got a couple of kebabs from here tonight. As we had a way to walk before we could eat them, I asked for the salad and pitta to be separate which was not a problem. The guy who served us did so with pride in what he was doing and it was greatly appreciated. We had a Shish Special and a Chicken Special. Both were delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed them and will not hesitate in returning on our next visit to Fakenham. 😘

If ever you have cravings for genuine Turkish food with excellent service and a smile thrown in then Marmaris is the place for you. My absolute favourite is the large mixed Kebab. Kofta, grilled chicken, grilled lamb and of course huge amounts of Donor meat on its own. No filling up the tray with salad as this come in a separate container. Everything is fresh and you can taste it. They take telephone orders so when you walk in your order will be waiting for you. You choose your own salad combo and the sauce you want. Best in Norfolk. 11/10

We order take away pizzas from Marmaris roughly once a fortnight and they are excellent, tasty and with plenty of topping and flavour... we less frequently order kebabs but have always found them to be excellent quality and very tasty too... lovely fresh salad too. The staff are very friendly and efficient... and chat to my little one while we wait. Very helpful knowing that if they say 20 minutes its exactly that and they will say if it's busy and will take longer. On the single occasion I had an issue it was promptly, politely and pleasantly resolved with apologies all round. Bonus in that you can have a card stamped for each pizza you purchase and get a free pizza after 6. Thats a great deal!

Some very tasty food to be had here. Kofte is well seasoned and worth a go as are the pizzas. Quality burgers though I have never tried the fried chicken as yet.
