Thought we’d try this for the first time last week and it’s definitely the last time I’ll be going. There’s an older Eastern European waitress with black hair who stood and argued with me at the table when I said my drinks order was wrong. We’d ordered a chocolate and a strawberry shake and the same main meal so a fairly easy order to take down. She brought over 2 strawberry milkshakes and I said “I’m sorry, I didn’t order a strawberry milkshake, I ordered chocolate”. She literally stood there and said “no you didn’t” over and over again. I argued the toss and was going to leave but my friend persuaded me to stay. This woman is rude and argumentative and it really didn’t warrant an argument? Just change the shake to the one I ordered..? Food was quite nice, quick service. Barely any room in there for highchairs/pushchairs. The milkshakes were expensive and definitely not worth the price. Semi skimmed Crusha milkshakes and they want over £3!!! Won’t be returning!

Absolutely wonderful experience attentive staff very very clean premises very polite and hot service.

I took my class of special needs students to the cafe for lunch. The food was lovely, the premises were very clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating to my staff and students. We will definitely be going back.

Refused to let my diabetic wife use the ladies toilet take her insulin ....very disappointing. No wonder Basildon centre is hoping out of business

Food adequate. Staff ok. Staff Try to rush you. So if your in a rush, it's a good place to grab some ok food before continuing. Relively clean. Tables were cleared and wiped really quickly. Tried to clear my plate away before I had finished, cause I stopped to look at messages on my phone. Don't people put their knife and folk together when finished anymore??

Turkish Breakfast was absolutely fantastic, certainly would order again!

Everything I travel to Basildon , I stop off here for a bit to eat. Would highly recommend, great food , service and lovely friendly staff.

Very happy with this place as a breakfast venue & a set breakfast for under a £5 can't be bad...However they need to stop rushing about & would be happy if they cooked the bacon up more as sometimes it comes to you looking rather raw & butter the whole slice of toast not just the middle...lol

Food was nice and restaurant clean but staff were not very friendly at all. Coca cola x 2 we had were warm and no ice offered so I suggest asking for it when ordering. At payment no thanks given when we asked to add a tip. Shame, as friendliness costs nothing and makes a big difference to your customers.

I allways come back here to have dinner. The food is delicious. They have a variety of dishes. But I suggest you to try their chiken gyros wrap. You will love it. 🌯🌯🥛 Also they have a mix for two wich is more than enough. Big portions. 🍽🥛🥤🍟🍟🌯🌯🥙🥙

Great place to eat. The staff a always friendly and the food is great. The staff also go out of their way to make kids feel welcome. My 4 year old always asks to go back.

Lovely food, good portions and very friendly service.

Would normally have give a hire score but the staff are not following the guidelines for the Covid 19. They are wearing masks under their chins and some under their nose. I told the lady serving that I did not want her serving me unless she had her mask over her nose. Their Qr is on the side of the wall at the back of the store, so most people would not see it until they go to pay. I mentioned this on a prevous occasion, but still nothing on the tables or the inside of their window. I was with one other person and we are regular customers. Today we were overcharged too. We will not be going back there, and they have lost two regular customers.

Visited for first time this week and was amazed at how lovely it is! Chicken kebab-fresh and so tasty! Full breakfast-not a single complaint from hubby (a first in a long time!!) Skimmed milk was available, waitress was super nice and everywhere was spotlessly clean!

Spotlessly clean and great for the town centre. Very large portions, we had mixed kebabs, very tasty marinade on the lamb and chicken with fresh salad along with pitta and chips/rice.

My wife had been here before and didn’t like it but we were in town on Boxing Day morning and were not looking to eat but it was the only one open and the smell dragged us in. I thoroughly enjoyed my breakfast of sausage eggs beans and tomato with tea. The place is spotlessly clean and the staff were very helpful. Even my wife enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend. Enjoy.

I love this place! I have had many beautiful breakfasts, and more lunches than i should but I keep going back for more. Its extremely clean, you have space to move and the food is delightful. The staff are lovely and friendly and very accommodating to your needs.

I have loved the food been back a few times with friend's disappointed on my last visit had salmon fish cakes they were burnt the salmon didn't taste anything like salmon it was inedible but having complained got a refund on my bill & the chef was made aware

Wonderful restaurant with amazing service! Second time eating here having recently moved from London, first time it was busy and this time not so much but yet the service was perfect each time..I fear there aren't too many reviews online as regular customers want to keep this amazing team a secret! 😄 But I'm letting it out the bag - clean, spacious, booth seating and massive portions! This is the best place in Basildon yet!

Spotlessly clean, good service, reasonable prices and excellent menus choices, in fact the best food I have had in Basildon for a very long while. What was so good to see was that the owners were there to greet you and keeping a constant eye on quality and it surely paid off. All round full marks to Miracles.

All day breakfast was lovely! The mash with sausage and mash needs improvement. It was just one lump rather tgan light and fluffy. Servive was speedy and friendly. Restaurant lovely and clean as was the toilet, which makes a change.

Lunchtime visit as had been recommended at work to visit here. Lovely clean bistro, friendly staff and huge menu to choose from. Friend and I had jacket potatoes which were big and very filling with a side salad. Would definitely come back again without hesitation.

It's very competitive in Basildon , with so many cafes. You have to stand out. This place does, The decor is good, The staff are friendly , and the food is very good, and reasonably priced. The English/Turkish dishes makes the place feel more than just a cafe, and you can also purchase a alcoholic beverage. This cafe heads the way in Basildon.

Have visited several times, recently with my mother, who uses a wheelchair. The food is excellent, and the staff always welcome diners cheerfully. Will be visiting again this week!

Miracles is a friendly and reasonably priced cafe, giving value for money and excellent service. There is a wide variety of choices in the menu, from sandwiches to main meals.

My Wife and I popped in here for a quick bite and it was Ok at best. I am not saying the other reviews are wrong it was just our personal experience. My Wife had a bacon sandwich which was served on the most basic of breads without any flavour and my panini came out about 5 minutes afterwards but tasted fine. Price didn't reflect what we had. Overall there is better in Basildon in this category.

Massive portions. Tasty food for a café. Fresh salad ingredients. Reasonably priced. Clean and airy. Good convenient place to grab a spot to eat if you don't want to eat fast food from the usual chains.

Had never noticed this little cafe in the town centre before. Really lovely food and generous portions for a really reasonable price! My boyfriend had the full English and I had the vegetarian omelette, would recommend!

Visited today as we were going to have naughty full English. Miracles looked so lovely and clean. We were welcomed and sat to look at the menu. The mug of tea was huge and the coffee delicious. We were tempted by the Omelettes which proved to be delicious. Hot, crispy chips and a lovely, well presented fresh salad. Service was great and really friendly. Not as busy as the others, maybe because you can't pay by card -it's cash only. Definitely worth a visit so pop to the ATM and give it a try. £13.35 for the two of us.

We had a great lunch here. Prices, staff service, menu and portion sizes were very good as was taste of our food. Will no doubt go back sometime.

The mixed grill of lamb chops liver and bacon chicken wings chips and tomatoes were cooked very well and the flavours were very nice.The liver and bacon reminded me of years gone by when my mum cooked them as a family meal 40 years ago.
