Ordered Chicken Kebab with Doner and Halloumi Kebab both were excellent and cooked to perfection. Also had a portion of chips which was huge and more than enough for two people. We were staying in the local area but will visit again as we will back this way in the summer.
Food is so so good, but I have never had a delivery on time. It’s always more than half an hour later and when you call it’s always “any minute” when they clearly haven’t even started cooking it l. I would rather they are just honest and say it will be another 20/30 minutes so at least we know. Such a shame, recommend to only ever collect.
The main chamber and debate room were beautiful, I went to an astronomy lecture here.
The architecture and design and decorating of the place was beautiful with all original portraits and stuff on display, the library was also amazing!
Only thing is the staff had no idea what they were doing...
I love my indian food and must have visited every indian restaurant in Cambridgeshire many times.but i have discovered the best one of the lot the Ali Taj in soham.it should be packed on there buffett Thurs and Sunday nights. As the value for money is amazing and the food is exceptional .The best Bombay Potatoes off all time and there onion bhajis and Chicken TIkka Pathia is amazing. The staff are so friendly and you can take your own booze . What a place can't wait for Sunday.
First time ordering at Dhaba and I had a chicken biryani which I always have when I order a curry, it was disgusting and couldn't eat it the rice was just rice with chicken in it and I the curry that you get with it was just curry sauce not a veg curry I usually have. I was so disappointed and will never have another meal from there again
I enjoyed a great breakfast and americano. The carrot cake which I took on my walk was amazing, baked by the owners wife I am told, and both the owner and the young looking (private joke) young Scottish lady were very nice and polite. I will definitely come back.
The coffee was great; however, it was a shame I couldn’t go inside because they do not have a wheelchair accessible entrance. There are two steps to get into the café. It still shocks me to see businesses without a portable ramp or step-free access.
The barista was lovely and apologised to my carer about my inability to enter. It is the management’s responsibility to ensure that their business is accessible for all, and that no one is discriminated against based on disabilities.
I hope that the owners/management see my review and take necessary steps to resolve this issue. After that, I will be happy to amend my review.
