The best restaurants in East Midlands

Nice friendly pub. You can eat indoors or out.

Have eaten here many times and it remains one of my favourite restaurants in Northampton. Staff are always very friendly and attentive. Love the range and quality of food. Their onion bhaji scotch egg is a stand-out dish!

Not my first visit, excellent food, friendly service, would recommend for breakfast. Good central location and great staff.

Vinimos después del trabajo para tomar unas copas y probar la tabla de quesos. Nos reservaron una bonita cabina. La tabla de quesos estaba sabrosa y bien presentada. Lo recomendaría.

Went in today for a Sunday lunch with my fiancee and we couldn't believe how good the food and service was. Not a step wrong. Will definitely be going back! Thanks!

Been coming here for years, seen owner after owner. Haven’t been for a while but glad we came to try the food on Friday night, it was really nice and service was great. The pub was busy which was pleasant to see. The food at the Lambley the week before was dire compared to the food at the Robin, and at half the price too! We’ll be back to take advantage of the premium beer offer shortly :)

First time visiting while in the area. Busy pub. Lots going on, good vibe, friendly staff, very welcome and accommodating. Would like to return and have a meal in the near future

Turned up yesterday lunch time to be told that they weren't doing food.

Este tiene que ser uno de los lugares más difíciles para reservar una mesa. Queríamos una mesa para cuatro el próximo sábado, así que probé la reserva en línea. Introdujo la cantidad de huéspedes y la hora de inicio de 7 . 30 pero cuando tenías que entrar en tu tiempo de salida tenías que llenar un formulario de solicitud. Lamentablemente nadie nos respondió sobre esto. Intenté llamarlos durante dos días pero nadie contestó el teléfono, solo un mensaje diciendo que la llamada terminará. No es una manera de dirigir un negocio, especialmente en el mercado financiero actual, cuando los restaurantes y pubs simplemente se quejan de los gastos generales. Ahora reservado en otro lugar en su lugar. Despierta o pierde más negocios.

Friendly and very helpful staff - quick service and good chips, prices seem to be about the going rate - Would visit here again. 😁
