A beautiful meal, very nice burger and an absolutely gorgeous lasagne served by friendly staff in a clean and welcoming pub atmosphere. We will definitely be returning if we are in the area.

Have Sunday dinner regularly beautiful. My partner had the pie last time it was big and beautiful 😆 we had 2 meals here today adapted to hot weather did my gammon with pots and salad. My partner had smoothed chicken he said it was lovely. Music abit loud in eating area always sounds loud in bar but lovely atmosphere and food.

Bar staff bit illusive at times

Had a very tasty vegetarian pie with mash and a variety of vegetables.

Went out for Mother's Day, the food was brilliant and very good value for money. Very friendly staff who provided excellent service. Would not hesitate to return.

First time going but the staff was very polite and welcoming i haven't eaten there yet but i will hopefully soon

Had roast beef today, it was absolutely amazing but the service was a little hectic. People were actually leaving because they were waiting too long to get served.

The Sunday lunch here is amazing. Dean and the team never fail. If I did not have to work, I would eat there every Sunday without fail....

Their Sunday lunch is superb and they cater for my Gluten Free allergy. The image below shows my GF starter which tasted yummy (Creamy mushroom Melt) Rachel, Dean (the Chef) and the rest of the team make us always feel welcome and are a credit and asset to the local community. Amazing, we arranged a buffet for 14 people, and the amount of food was unbelievable. A good selection of everything you could wish for very friendly and helpful staff and at a very good price 👍 😀

Had the afternoon tea today and it was fab! Lovely selection of sandwiches and all the cakes and scones are homemade too. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. Great service from start to finish.

Went last night for valentines meal. The food was phenomenal and very reasonably priced. Very happy place to go. Dean is friendly and makes sure my gluten free husband is catered for. Wasn’t our first time here and certainly won’t be our last. Well done to Rachel and the team for all the hard work

A quiet Thursday night pint, didn't know there was a quiz on. Very entertaining host, good beer. Recommended.

We visited the coronation pub last week with some friends. We ordered three mixed grills and a gammon and chips. The mixed grill was brilliant lots of meat and great value for money. The gammon and chips were lovely also. We asked Daz to do us a onion loaf, which he did and it went down a treat. The food there is good and great value for money. Thanks Daz. Nearly £5 for brewdog ipa in a can 😯 it's 3.70 a bottle in town I'd expect to pay that for a pint of it

I just had an excellent chicken and bacon baguette and all of the workers are very nice towards the customers ..Dazz the chef was fantastic ..will be going back for more

Disappointed. We were looking forward to a pint here on the way home one evening (used to drink in here all the time late 90's so wanted some nostalgia) at approximately 22:15 but the chap behind the bar said it was now closed and had turned off the pumps. So we said we'll grab a bottle instead and was denied also. Then this other gentleman walked in and got served many bottles to which the chap behind said its ok as he is staying upstairs. But we walked out with him and he then went toddling off down Seven St with his many bottles of beer 🤣. If you didn't want to serve us fair enough just say, don't make excuses. Kudos to the bar keeps buddies though, they did try to change his mind. Maybe nixt time Coro...

Certainly changed for the better since changing back to the coronation. Not serving ales that no one has heard of at rediculous prices. Had a lovely pint of pedigree and prices are fair. Going the right way, just need to get more real ales in. Bass, and old speckled hen would be good. Now got the Bass in, also serving food, and have guest ales. Extra star. Onwards and upwards

Enjoyed the relaxed 80's music whilst chatting with family. 'Billy burger with bacon and cheese, and a tasty 'caramelized onion relish and Fries. A variety of traditional meals and Pizzas. Would need to come again to try other items on the menu. Happy to relax

Awful the food both starter and main were disgusting to the point bar person said it was,nt right. The liver was off without a doubt the smell the taste. Yes very apologetic and did ask if we wanted something else and we did get a refund

Just moved to the area a month ago and couldn't be happier to find this pub less than a 2 minute walk away! Food is amazing, bar staff are super helpful and friendly, great selection of drinks and gins at reasonable prices, lush beer garden and dog friendly too! Our new local in more ways than one!

I will start by saying I have eaten at The Coronation multiple times before and the food has always been lovely, good quality and affordable. However, I was disappointed after eating there this week. Initially we ordered pizzas, paid for them, then eventually were told there was no pizzas as all of the dough is frozen. So we chose burgers from the menu instead even though we didn’t really fancy them. The orders got mixed up and my friend was initially served something that she didn’t order, this was resolved quickly though. My burger was burnt on the bottom, at times it was like eating charcoal. The bacon on it was also very overdone, again burnt in parts. There was no relish or salad as advertised and the bun was dry and also very black where it had been toasted. The coleslaw was really nice though! Our visit was during the eat out to help out initiative thankfully so the burgers were half price as I would definitely not have paid full price for them. We have never had problems like this before, I understand that due to the Coronavirus there may be extra pressures but this really was a shame and not what we expected.

A regular local for us to visit either just ourselves, with visitors or to meet friends. Dog friendly pub. Extensive menu with a great pizza oven. Good range of their own and guest beers and ciders. Also have a good range of alcohol free drinks.

So cosy, it's like being home from home. First impressions go a long way and it was warm and friendly from the minute we stepped in. Lovely atmosphere and a great place to have a catch up with friends. Food was amazing and excellent service. I will certainly revisit in the future.

After a long awaited arrive for a decent Sunday Pub lunch menu in the local area, the Coronation definatley delivered with their new menu which went live this week. Excellent value with fresh and quality produce and could not fault anything. A big thank you to Jo for coming up with and cooking such a great, tasty and filling meal. And also Dan who looked after us after a little confusion with our initial order. Can't wait to go again next week

Came in on a Sunday, just for a few beers, to be welcome with a band on which is very unusual for a Sunday but wow what an amazing choice, they were brilliant! Big shout out to Hadyn and the team for putting such a great effort into the night! Will definitely be coming again!

The pizzas are good! There are no many options for beer.

Friendly local in Crewton area of Derby close to the cycle path. Lovely pizzas - we chose Royal and Veggie for variety and they were delicious. Good ale choice from near and far breweries

Really nice food, pizza and dutty fries are highly recommend. Average prices on drinks and a pretty good atmosphere. They are also pet friendly as well.

So after a few friends said I’d regret coming here because of its bad reputation I’m happy to say I’ve proved them all wrong, I now know the pubs been taken over, the ghosts from dwellers past have been cleared and it’s a stunning pub, the food is fantastic, the staff are great, and it’s a great social, local place to be - there’s no trouble, theres amazing food, and the selection of drinks is great!!! Visit this place !!!

Pizza is really good here, it has a crispy base, served on wood board as it should be :) decent price too. Beer selection is average but depends how picky one is.

This has to be the best meal I’ve had in a long time. The pie had plenty of meat the veg was cooked well and had flavour the gravy was delicious making it a lovely lunch. I being coeliac opted for the gammon there is gluten free option but nothin I fancy the gammon was cooked well and not at all salty the veg was good too I with the upgrade of sweet potatoes fries with cheese on they were very yummy. This is a local pub with a friendly atmosphere the staff are very helpful. The decor is very nice. Will definitely be visiting again if I’m in the area.

We had a lovely afternoon at the Corry.The food was excellent, the service was second to none and the Corry was so comfortable for the children to enjoy themselves and be happy. I would reccomend the Corry to anybody whether your looking for a quiet pint or a family afternoon as we did.

I rather enjoyed my time here, i wanted somewhere where you can grab a quick and quite bite with a beer. The beer selection isn't great and to my taste though as I had to resort to Tuborg which isn't something i usually opt for. Nevertheless this place has a local feel to it and as this was the first time we went we were welcomed like regulars. The pizza is what sets this place apart, it arrived in super quick time and tasted great. The base is amazing and as it's down the road I shall re pay this place a visit soon just I would say try and get a good pilsner on tap

The food is good and not that expensive. You will spend around 7 pounds to eat. I believe they should improve the desserts.

Nice bar where you can drink and eat. The staff is very nice also. There you will pay around 3.50 for a pint.

We used to live a street away but despite moving a bit further away we still return regularly. Good menu of pub food and two bars plus a garden to enjoy it in. Also a good selection of beers and a good cider. Dog friendly.
