Good wholesome food. Good choice on menu.

Excellent value for money & nicely cooked, well-presented food. Had to sit outside because we had a dog with us but the waitress still looked after us well.

This is a great little café in Park Farm shopping centre. It has an excellent choice of breakfasts, snacks, and light lunches, as well as cakes and bakes and hot and cold drinks. My particular favourite is the loaded crumpets with bacon, beans, and cheese - delicious. Excellent coffee as well. The staff are very friendly and the service is good, and there is a warm, friendly atmosphere. 5 out of 5.

Lovely little cafe. Great service. Breakfast choices really good, I had a delicious bacon bap & it was cooked just how I asked - nice & crispy. My friend had pancakes & she said they were lovely. Really great value too

Brilliant cafe in the centre of Park Farm shopping centre, home made chips are so delicious, breakfasts are 5 star mouth watering! Salads, Sandwiches, also very tasty. I go regularly for take outs and they are open everyday of the week, even on Sundays during summer. A real asset to Allestree, Andy and his team are so helpful, nothing is too much trouble. I'd love to be able to tell you how good the food is, but I have tried twice and both times been told "The kitchen's closed". First time, fair enough, at 10 minutes to their stated closing time, I was told they had stopped serving. So, effectively a closing time ahead of the closing time, because they didn't offer anything like a quick coffee or similar. Nothing! Just "We've stopped serving". (Note, it would be nice to have a "Sorry" ahead of that sentence, but nope). Not one to unfairly judge a place, I tried again. This time at 20 minutes before their stated closing time. Same thing, sadly. No "Hi" or "Hello". No "I'm so sorry, we're closing early". The staff almost rushed to the front to shoo us away. Someone was in the back kitchen, still cooking away, but these girls on the front did not want us there, that's for sure. Look, I get it that staff want to go home etc. But this "Kitchen is closed" thing is a peculiarly British malaise. One would think a Saturday lunch/PM would be a peak time. If I owned such a place, all my staff would be on commission and made to feel like we are there to make money (it's a business, right?) so if someone comes in near our closing time, at least ask if we can just get them a bit of coffee/cake or some such. Far better that and the customer goes away thinking the cafe did something/anything, rather than just put a hand up and offer nothing but a refusal of service. Hey ho, at least they are consistent with a lot of UK service. Sadly though, they've lost a potential customer. I won't be trying again.

Great value and good food and staff

Over priced!! Waited over half an hour for 3 sandwiches. Not acceptable!

Went here with my wife for the first time ever. Had a regular breakfast with a coffee, and the wife had 3 egg omelette with hash brown, beans and a tea. Together it came to £14. Staff were really friendly, food came out very quickly and was freshly cooked. I will certainly be visiting again and would easily recommend here to friends and family.

After being ignored for 10 minutes at Costa we gave up and went to the lemon tree. Super friendly staff who smiled and greeted you as soon as we walked in. Decent value honest food. Next time we’re in allestree we’ll be coming here and not wasting our time being ignored in Costa

Friendly staff and the coffee shop had a warm cute atmosphere, the food was ok I ordered a small breakfast and it was definitely small , the sausage was super small the bacon was OK the mushrooms were like one mushroom sliced and tinned tomatoes and slice of bread weren't the best of quality. My daughter had the panni and it looked lovely with a nice bit of salad and some very tasty coleslaw.

Collected two full English breakfast yesterday morning, absolutely delicious, top quality food, would highly recommend and we will certainly return.

Went there for my husband's birthday breakfast. Exceptional employees even put a candle on his pudding. They didn't need to but they did. Absolute best service and food. ❤️

My favorite place to go for a fry up.We go most Saturday mornings. Best way to start the weekend. All the staff are lovely. The brekky is very consistent and priced fairly.

This is a proper café, nothing fancy, just good sized portions of good food. They also do a huge amount for the community, collecting Christmas gifts and cost of living value meals. For the record, best chips anywhere.

if i could i’d give this place 0 stars, today my partners grandad went in with my partners mum and her younger sister, her grandad has a problem which results in him choking on his food. They’d asked for bacon without fat so he didn’t choke and he was given a bacon sandwich with mostly fat. this resulted in him choking and spewing. He was taken outside by his daughter who he went with and the man that worked there came out stating it’s not good for business whilst my partners grandad was clearly struggling and embarrassed. He continued saying things knowing everyone could hear which embarrassed him even more. Terrible customer service and appalled by the way they’ve been treated. DO NOT RECOMMEND

I went to this coffee shop had coffee with some one . I asked for toilet , the person behind desk was young lady , politely told me to ask the owner , owner declined and offer me there is public toilet somewhere in Park farm . Just wondering how come they give food and drink to people but they don’t have toilet ? How come Councell let them open the coffee shop ????

Another lovely visit today , great food at very reasonable prices nothing too much trouble for the efficient friendly staff . If you have not visited this place before ,please do so you wont be dissappointed .

The fam and I had a selection of breakfast cobs - all excellent. Pot of tea for two. Speedy and excellent service. Everything cooked to perfection. Will definitely be coming back - lunches look good too.

Just had Sunday lunch delivered Roast Beef and all the trimmings followed by pudding of honeycomb cheesecake and my husband had apple pie and custard. Yummy and a minimal washing up. Delicious and will definitely have it again. THANK YOU ANDREW AND STAFF. I feel a sleep coming on now. DELICIOUS FOOD GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY EXCELLENT SERVICE.

I enjoyed a tasty full English breakfast here. If this was Small, I wonder what large is like! Particularly tasty mushrooms and sausage - two things that are often economised on in commercial catering.If you're there in the afternoon, the scones look tasty - but after a full breakfast I thought I'd best avoid temptation.There are tables outside for those that want to smoke - service was to the table in or out.Why is this not given 5 stars? Guys get some kind of draught excluder on that door, you'll save on your heating and keep the customers happy!

I was fancying a quick bite before heading off for the day so I nipped in and ordered some food to go. The interior seems clean and tidy and the staff were friendly. After a small wait my food was ready. I had a bacon and egg bap, my partner had a black pudding and egg bap, the bacon was a bit well done sadly, but the eggs were perfect, also you get more bap than filling, so a little more filling might not of gone a miss.

Came here as my husband wanted to treat me to breakfast and I decided that we would go somewhere local. I opted for the veggie breakfast and my husband had a small breakfast. Both of us ate everything on the plate. The chap who has recently took over, sorry I apologise for not asking for your name!! Was very welcoming and friendly and I sincerely hope you do well in your new venture here! Hopefully we'll become regulars! I would highly recommend anyone who fancies being treated to breakfast!

Called into the spruced up Lemon Tree for a drink/cake, cafe is spotlessly clean with service that was quick and efficient.

We’ve been doing the rounds of allestree, derby and belper recently looking for a great ‘home cooked’ breakfast and so far this is the best we’ve had. The sausage and bacon were good quality, we couldn’t fault it. Staff were happy to swap and change some items for me and cook my bacon like I asked, nothing was too much trouble. Clean and friendly. Highly recommend.

Randomly popped in for some lunch and was not expecting the quality of food that we got! Friendly staff and a chef who knows what they're doing. Great!

This friendly café serves a good variety of excellent food - much of it home-made. We had the delicious brie and caramelized onion quiche with fresh green salad and some of the best home-cooked chips I have had in a long time. The value for money was good too.

I've ate at the lemon tree on afew occasion and thought it was OK. Nothing special just ok. Just recently it has had New Owners. I've got to say that the food that was served to me was presented very well, and was of better quality than previous management. Great prices aswell. I believe the new owner is a sous chef. We'll worth a visit. :-)

New owner has taken over this delightful little cafe. Went for brunch today. It was very nice, with friendly staff who are most helpful. Will be back again soon. Good luck in their new venture.

Visited here a few days ago to meet a few friends after being recommended ,Wow!! This place is fantastic, food and drinks were delicious and not overpriced like other places in the area ( four seasons across the way) we had a great time with Hayley the owner who is very accommodating and so friendly! I will recommend this place to anyone, and will be returning very soon!!

Nipped for tea and toast as I was early for my hair appointment, How friendly is this place, everybody spoke both staff and customers it was lovely to be included in the conversations going on, the tea and toast was lovely, really reasonable and I left feeling like I had just spent time with family as opposed to Billy no mates, I hope it's like this every time I go in. I loved it

Open from 7.30 am to 2.00 pm, I stop for breakfast if I am in the area. There is a good selection and the food is freshly cooked. Staff are attentive and helpful, and there are usually a few newspapers to read. They also serve light lunches. It is a clean and comfortable environment which creates a warm atmosphere. No toilets, but these are nearby in the shopping centre area.

The service and food is exceptional, I have personally become addicted and look forward to this lovely team , nothing is to much trouble, the portions are fantastic and great value, it is a family team and this really shows. This is the best place for snacks/breakfast/lunch I have found to date
